The hotel is small and not a tourist hotel. The dinner was excellent but the breakfast was very disappointing. The staff were very unfriendly and it was difficult to get served at the bar. I waited one evening 20 minuted for my first order and 15 minutes for the second. |

The staff is really nice, and the restaurant terasse Really bad experience, small rooms, very noisy street on one side, a building place for hotels garage on the other side. I didnt sleep all night due to a wedding celebration on 1st floor. The hotel is ca 5min by car outside the city (not very nice area), no way to approach the sea from there. It really makes you angry because they sell themselves for sth different. |

The hotel does not deserve 5 stars at all. The staff was not very helpful, rooms are very old (especially the bathroom). The hotel has no sea view at all. |

At the moment (August 2009) there is no parking place, swimming pool, and sauna due to some reconstruction in progress. This was not mentioned on the booking.com internet page. The hotel is not well suited for families looking for beach activities. It is better suited for business travellers staying from one to few days. |

The staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be given the problems with the hotel (see below). Our 8yr old enjoyed playing the piano! Nice view from breakfast terrace. The advertised facilities were not available as they are building a new extension, so there was no pool, gym, etc. Very disappointing. No mention of this on the hotel web site. We booked and were prepared to pay for the facilities but this was disappointing. The hotel offered us a price discount as compensation which was fair - but we would have moved elsewhere if there had been an opportunity. The building works will continue for at least 1 or 2 years. The hotel needs to warn guests. |

Friendly service, good breakfast, wonderful sea view from the restaurant terrace no obvious parking opportunities, because of building site behind the hotel; maybe you have to ask for parking (we stayed only one night) |

The view from the breakfast room The pool which looked rather old fashioned and the gym which was water-damaged. Further from Miramare castle than I imagined. |

It bills iteself as having a seaview. It fails to mention it is over a busy road and some grotty buildings. Claims to be five star, but was a good 3 star at best. Smallish, old-fashioned rooms. |

Excellent location, nice breakfast room overlooking sea. Having stayed at this hotel before, housekeeping standards have slipping and rooms and bathrooms are starting to look a little shabby. |

very nice terrace on the rooftop, nice lobby strange that nowadays you can use the pool only with cap (I don't even posess one); some things in the room should be renewed! |

The hotel was very elegant with extra comforts in the room. The advertisement led us to believe that it would be "on the sea" with sea views. We were on the first floor and saw only the buildings across the street. |
