The staff were very friendly and very helpful and the hotel cleanliness was immaculate. The location was difficult for pushchair access as it was at the top of a steep hill. Although the hotel did offer a hill shuttle service, this was not very practical for a double pushchair. |

Location, view, terrace, ferry comes to a station located just 2 km far from the hotel, free parking, "brand new" hotel with attentive staff, there is a shuttle minivan available for the guests. The climb to reach the hotel is stip, for older people it could be a challenge, so ask the hotel to take you from the port when you arrive if you do not have a car. If you go around the island, consider 15-18 km distance to get to the opposite side (local bus transportation looks good). There are very few places to use a bike at Ischia due to chaotic car traffic and narrow streets. |

A very good, clean and trendy hotel at a good and wonderfull location. The staff was also very friendly and helpfull. The WIFI could be better and for free for all customers. Also the english language of the staff could be better. |

The hotel feels new and the rooms are spartan but immaculate. There is a nice but small pool area. Most rooms do not have a view so if that is important to you then definitely reserve a sea facing room. I thought the staff was well meaning but needed more professional training. Compared to other islands like Capri I think they could be more hospitable. Also, the hotel is a bit off the main road so they shuttle you to a bus stop which is then easy to get into town. I would suggest renting a car to be able to get around the island. |

The Hotel is very nice on a very high point with good views of the sea or mountain. View is was from the shared area outside the room but some rooms do have the view from the room. also it is high up on the island so renting a car or taxi's are required to get around either way if you run around the island much you will need 40-50E a day travel expenses. |

My daughter and I had a great holiday in Ischia. We stayed at the Hotel Grifo which has a modern, contemporary and smart deco that is very pleasing to the senses. I loved the mountain and sea views from the hotel - which are out of this world! We enjoyed basking by the pool or just relaxing in the beautiful well tended tropical gardens. There are a lot of vantage points to sit and relax or just listen to the natural world going by (roof terrace, by the pool or on the hotel patio. My daughter and I found the staff very curteous and helpful, Belissimo!!! I cannot fault it. Since I holiday in Ischia every year, I will most certainly stay at the Hotel Grifo De Charme again! |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very peaceful and had a lovely pool. It is not a dislike, just that we had some trouble making ourselves understood as little English or French was spoken |

this hotel is perfect on many levels. It is family run and charming, beautifully located on a hill overlooking Ischia. Very clean, very high quality furnishings and lots of attention to detail. The price is amazing considering that this is a luxury boutique hotel . Very good food but the dining room is too harshly lit. That was the only small minus. |

This hotel is beautifully positioned on the island of Ischia, with wonderful views of the seas. Although not positioned closely to the main road, the hotel staff will co-ordinate a car to collect you from the main road if required - especially if you arrive by local bus from the port (or if you arrive by taxi, it is no problem). |

Alberto and his multilingual team made sure our every wish was satisfied, in addition the private, simple yet beautyfully designed surroundings make you feel @home If only the communication at breakfast: you better speak up and ask for eg. A freshly squeezed orange juice or your favourite omlette, cause if you rely only on what's served at the buffet you won't be too satisfied..:-) |

Total nette hilfsbereite Leute an der Rezeption, lieber aufmerksamer Frühstückskellner, Frühstück super (Kuchen!), kinderfreundlich, angenehme Atmosphäre, Zimmer gemütlich, sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, toller Blick auf den Monte Epomeo, total ruhig, und dann: der swimming pool! |

Un accueil chaleureux, un personnel aux petits soins, la situation de l'hôtel (au calme), la vue sur la mer, la propreté des chambres et celle de l'établissement. Un hôtel parfait dans un cadre idyllique. Non c'était parfait. Avis aux futurs visiteurs d'Ischia, etc... évitez les taxis (hors de prix), préférez la location d'une voiture pour faire le tour de l'Ile qui vaut le détour, et le bus pour les petits déplacements. |
