Score from 484 reviews Excellent
it was all good / excellent.the way breakfast is served is so hygenic (clean).for 47 years of traveling I have never seen it done this way.
the shower was small, but we manage the daily shower, but I would not complain because it's a small hotel with 20 rooms .if we come to Rome again ,we will book it.
I liked the location, you can go on foot to the main touristic places (Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza Spagna). It is clean and an ok breakfast is included. The staff people are very nice.
The receptionist was rude and spoke very abusively to me when I was upset that they not have a vegan breakfast option.
Great location and great people in a beautiful city. Clean room and a big breakfast
The night shift was not very polite
Staff are wonderful and really helpful Location is fabulous
The staff were so helpful providing good suggestions and tip for places to see and restaurants. Immaculately clean. Would recommend to anyone regardless of budget, who needs to spend a fortune when you can have accommodation like this.
Ac leaked into a can in the room Old broken furniture
The location was fantastic since it was close to getting to most tourist attractions. The room was fairly large and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast helped get the day started (minimal choice but it was included so you really cannot complain). If you are travelling to Rome, you are most likely not there to spend a day in your room. I would go back but try to stay in the main hotel if possible.
We were a bit caught off guard when we found out our rooms were in the building across the street of the main hotel without any elevator. Though the room was big there was not a lot of natural light and there was no bedside lighting so it was difficult if someone wanted to stay up and read and the other person wanted to go to bed.
It was a little tiny (the room) and the facilities, however it is good for what you get the room for (just sleeping as you spend the whole day out exploring Rome!). Wifi good, location is fantastic! Colosseo is 3 blocks away and the bus station and metro stations are farely close. I recommend it for the location mostly!
Rooms are very small, and shower is tiny
Rosa and Luigi most helpful and welcoming.
Very friendly and pleasant stuff. They all gave us great tips for exploring the city. Good location, near couple of main attractions, everything within walking distance.
Good location, very friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast.
Mold on the walls (we were moved to another, nicer room, no problem)
The staff were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Good location for accessing many sites on foot. We loved Rome, so much to see and do. Also we had student discount at all the sites we visited. We would recomend this hotel.
Greeted warmly and explained all about the area and local people. Very safe area. Walked with luggage from train station. Had a load of laundry cleaned next door for 15€ Good WiFi, breakfast ok,would stay here again!
Nothing.....maybe no English stations on tv but no big deal!
The location was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean.
The room was small for two, the breakfast was nothing special with no fruit.
Great location and staff who were friendly and helpful. Lots of nice places to eat around the area and short walking distance to the metro and to Via Nazional, a main road for buses and shopping. Would definitely stay in this hotel again if we come back to Rome!
The shower cubicle was really tiny but it did not really bother us.
The hotel was in an up and coming area of Rome and had a great "vibe". Loads of restaurants and little shops to explore. Right near the Colosseum too, so not far to walk. Staff at the hotel were wonderful, friendly and very, very helpful, especially the manager who could not do enough to make sure we were all happy. He is a walking guide book! Well worth listening to his advice, he saved us a lot of hassle and expense.
Our room was very small and had very little storage. My husband didn't unpack at all because there was nowhere to put his clothes. Also our air conditioning was useless so the room was boiling hot and airless.
Very good location, 5 min by walk to the Colosseum, 10 min to Venice squire. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good. Nice open terrace with plants on the 4 th floor. Free and fast Wi Fi. Reasonable pricing.
Room is small. Bath room is extremely small. Bed is good, but short (if your hight is more than 185 cm).
The hotel is in a vibrant and interesting part of Rome, close to most main features with lots of funky little shops and cafés around. Staff were great at advising on interesting places to visit and eat. Very helpful. Our room was on 5th floor, good size (except for shower!) and quiet but bit basic for price. Terrace was a nice added bonus.
Tiny shower. Bed a bit saggy.
Everything else was great.
Beds are very uncomfortable.
The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the colosseum. The street it is in has some really delightful and quirky shops and also some lovely restaurants. We were only there for two nights but I wish we could have stayed a few more.
The room was small for three people but that's ok we managed for a couple of nights.
As said before: great location, you can walk around the main sites of Rome enjoying a fresh and classical roman neighborhood. Excellent staff (thanks Alessandro) always ready to help and suggest trips in the city.
The location is ideal for getting to sites and buses or underground. The staff were friendly and leaving our cases on the last day of our stay after checking out was no problem at all as our flight was in the evening. Wifi was no problem and yes the rooms are tiny and the bathroom very tiny but we coped!
The breakfast was very basic and had run out on our final day even though we arrived for breakfast half an hour before it was supposedly finished. The air conditioning did not really work so the heat of August meant uncomfortable nights.
Staff were great... friendly and very helpful. Position of Hotel in a lovely quiet street.
Small shower Basic breakfast
Staff were very nice
The paint was chipping of the walls. There was a ring of mold on the shower roof and on the tiles. There was a press to hang clothes in. That stank of dirty, mold dust and dampness. We also were not given the room we were supposed to have gotten. According to booking.com we were supposed to be in a opposite building. We were not put in that room.
