Problems: the wifi was good downstairs but did not work in the room, though they say yes. We have seen that the router was off but despite complaints was not repaired during the three days. The room could have better curtains, as the summer light came too soon.
Friendly service. Despite being an old building, it has an elevator, which is already an advantage in Rome.
It is near the train station and 2 blocks from the Cavour metro station. We made the mistake of walk of Termini there, with the 3 year old son and heavy bags. Do not do that! Take a taxi, due out around 10 euros and you avoid the cobbled hills on the way (it's no wonder that the neighborhood called Monti or "hills").
The neighborhood on the other hand, is a delight to stay. Many bars, restaurants and beautiful streets. Only 3 blocks walking from the hotel, you have the most spetacular view of the Coliseum, wonderful!! Enjoy the terrace on the roof, some great tables to stay outdoors in the late afternoon.
Small but comfortable room, air conditioning, refrigerator and functional shower, good cleaning. Breakfast in the morning and an aperitif friendly (a glass of drink) offered in the early evening.
