Stayed with my sister. Amazing location, walked everywhere, didn't use public transport all. Lots of shopping options around. Good local places to eat, try Taverna dei Monti, good food and at affordable price. Clean and warm rooms, good wifi signal, good breakfast, plenty to choose from. Very polite and helpful staff. Rooms are cleaned every day. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to others.
Rooms and beds are small, but it's understandable as it's a historical building.
This hotel is in a fantastic location. You can actually see the Colosseum from outside. Lovely cobbled streets, great restaurants nearby and the major sights are walkable. Very helpful tips from staff about visits to the busy locations. Reasonably sized clean, basic room, but you are not in Rome to sit in a room anyway. Good breakfast.
Room is very spartan.... Just the very basics. Tea and coffee facilties would be an asset and even an iron. Had trouble even hunting up a plug for the sink.
Very hospitable staff that spoke many different languages with ease. Breakfast was plentiful.
The rooms and ensuite are very small but kept clean and tidy. It was hard to find places to keep towels/ our luggage out of the way!
Great location, friendly staff. The room was warm and clean!
Not a lot of space in general, tiny room but for two people it is not that bad. Breakfast nothing special very basic and they charge for extras!
the bathroom; was tiny and needed care. the breakfast procedure was not easy to follow.
The location......very near to all the major sights. We even made it to the Vatican on foot, though it is 40 mins away. You could wait for the bus, but there is a lot to see on the way. The breakfast was quite good too.
Great location to sites & restaurants Excellent & helpful staff Great breakfasts
Hot water temperature was just luke warm (never hot)
Vatican and Piazza Venezia
stuff at airport
We enjoied stayng at the hotel on Christmass. The hotel situated in a Monty region very close to the Collosseum, Santya Maria Majore Church and other places of interest. Very polite staff speaking English, Spanish. The very lovely thing - roof terrace of the hotel, which provided us several pleasant evenings with vine and cheese :) We will deffientely stay in that hotel next time we visit Rome. So far it is the best hotel we had (of 4 visits to Rome).
breakfast is just ok...
good amenities, food, location. Would stay here again.
shower water not hot enough, beds a little hard for my taster but fine for my family.
Breakfast was very nice. Triple room was a nice size. Location.
Not enough hot water for all guests in the morning.
- Location was great - Room was very quiet and clean - Staff very helpful
- breakfast too complicated - elevator extremely tiny - stairs very narrow. - small room - crowded bathroom Overall hotel felt a little claustrophobic
Good location.Fair breakfast
No hot water. Low water pressure. Too short beds. On the last floor only accessible after stairs on the roof. Noisy because of the fans of air conditioners installed on the roof. Awful views from the tiny windows
Location, friendly and very helpful reception staff.
Very tired decoration throughout.
Great location, very close to colloseum,2 blocks away train station(cavour station)with many shops, restaurants, bars just around the hotel, felt always safe.Breakfast was very good, all fresh with good variety, had a choise for extra portion of everything for only 0,5€ each.Friendly staff.Room cleaned every day Towels too!!!Had a room at 3rd floor without noise.
The room was very small with rather classic decoration but they had an offer for small dbl so it was value for money choice. We don't speak italian so we couldn't watch TV,but it's not a big problem cause you are out all day!The cappuccino was not good but had good bio filter coffee. No fridge!!!A bottle still water in the room would be appreciated.
Hotel was close to central train station and room was comfortable. We stayed in the separate building entry with no issue.
The stairwell in the separate building was under construction which made it slightly less sturdy walking up and down.
Staff was very helpful - thank you very much. We did enjoy our stay in Rome and glad we choose this hotel.
Very central to most sights. Very friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast. Catered well for gluten-free. Organised airport transfer for us in advance. Lovely old Rome feeling on cobblestone streets. Hotel had lots of character.
Pillows were a little hard. Wifi could be slow at times. Water pressure on the top floor was a little low.
Very near to colosseum and other famous spots Hotel interier was good Newly renovated. Good breakfast. Near to restaurants Had lifts
Wifi was little problemetic for us.
Staff were very good. In particular, I had a rented Car (not a good idea in central rome) - parking is very difficult to find and confusing. A Manager from the hotel, who was from the locality, drove with me around the area for about 20 minutes until we found a legal parking space. Thanks to him for this and all the local info.
The family room I had at the top of the Building is very unattractive, no windows, etc. As soon as you wake up, you want to leave it. The Breakfast system is a little quaint. Everything else was fine.
it was all good / excellent.the way breakfast is served is so hygenic (clean).for 47 years of traveling I have never seen it done this way.
the shower was small, but we manage the daily shower, but I would not complain because it's a small hotel with 20 rooms .if we come to Rome again ,we will book it.
I liked the location, you can go on foot to the main touristic places (Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza Spagna). It is clean and an ok breakfast is included. The staff people are very nice.
The receptionist was rude and spoke very abusively to me when I was upset that they not have a vegan breakfast option.
Great location and great people in a beautiful city. Clean room and a big breakfast
The night shift was not very polite
