Best Western Hotel Ambra Palace  

Friendly and helpfull staff. Good location close to Termini Station. Spatious rooms. Good beds.

Very noisy airconditioning that was centrally managed and could not by turned off at night. Carpet in the room was really dirty and needs to be renewed. Rather 3 stars (not 4 stars). Rest of the room was clean.

The hotel was not quite as close to the station as we'd originally thought, but still only a 10 min walk. The rooms were clean, if not very small. Free wifi was a bonus for our kids. Reception staff could work on their attitude, they were not very friendly, rude on occasions. That said, I would stay there again - if I was given a larger room with a bathroom I didn't have to walk like a crab in!

The location was excellent, a quick 5 minute walk to the Termini Station, as well as a Metro stop right around the corner. It was also a short 10-15 minute stroll to the Colosseum. The breakfast was good, with a large selection of pastries as well as meats, eggs, cheeses, cereal, bread, yogurt, and juice. The staff was friendly and helpful and was willing to arrange for some local tours.

The beds were slightly hard, but it is typical of most European hotels.

Nice clean room, friendly staff are the adventages of this hotel. Nothing more in fact, as everything else outside of the hotel is a hell!!!

Location is terrible !!!!!!!!!! The surrounding area - I wish I didn`t see it...

1. It is near a church - Sankt Maria Maggiore. 2. Near several restaurants and eateries. 3. Good security as elevator is facing the reception. 4. Staff can speak English

1. Room cups have coffee stain. 2. Shower room is too small, I can hardly move without touching the sliding door. 3. Water kettle is too old, leaking and dirty. 4. Room gets too cold in the early morning and thermostat cannot be adjusted. 5. After two nights stay, basin is not cleaned. 6. Location - quiet end of the road and a little too far from the Railway Station Termini

I was disappointed with the location, the hotel was tidy enough but had a very expensive bar. I was placed in an extremely small room totally different than the one advertised so had to organise a change which happened on the second night. I don't think I will be using this hotel again

value for money spent, close to metro and bus termini. breakfast was tasty and very complete for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. nice place to visit again.

the location though central did not seem very safe after 8 or 9 PM for ladies to move around. so seemed to be a limitation.

Besides it seems not to be located in a safer area, it is very close to touristic attractions. Rooms are comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful.

Bathrooms and especially shower cabins are too small. Despite I am not a very big person, I had difficulty sometimes. Visitors had some complains in the comment part on the breakfast as it was always the same, but the variety was ok so that it is up to you to have same breakfast each morning or not.
