The location right at the train station for our train to Paris the following morning. Easy to access the underground trains. Good breakfast choices. Comfortable bed.
Excellent location for the train. Nice location all together.
The odd smile is always pleasing
Everything was great. Located next to Garibaldi station, easily accessible from all over Milan. Breakfast was great. Internet Wifi worked well too. Didn't mind paying extra for it.
One of the worst hotels in my experience. No hospitality and no service from the reception staffs. I will never stay here.
the hotel was convenient to the train station (strike did not help the trains but that is not a hotel issue). The hotel was clean and the rooms large enough to enjoy your stay - it was quiet at night and security was good.
th.e checked me out the first night because I had a second booking to stay another night - my key did not work and I waited 20 minutes at the desk to get someone to help me. Did not find the desk trained to serve customers with a smile. I was polite they were passive at best
it was clean and the facilities are good
the wifi and the laundry service was really expensive .. and when I called for the room service they didn't pick up the phone all the time
My room had a very comfortable bed and the hotel was quiet at night. The Hotel is directly opposite the metro with links to the Milan Centre.
Location and breakfast
Room was a little cold
Waiting time at reception incredibly Long. Hotel crowded with hundreds of chinese People arriving and leaving at the same time. Breakfast poor. Not enough space, even when the room was very big. Bad Service for everything.
Location next to Garibaldi metro stop...with quick access to Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle for shopping.. Walking distance to popular bars and night clubs of Corso Como.. Very handy of an evening!!
Wifi not free...but reasonable enough price of EUR 6 per day or EUR20 for 5 days use.
The look of reception & location
Room Service - Everything was cold bread stale and dessert ordered never turned up rerang and still never turned up then tried to charge us. Meal prices expensive. Breakfast good variety but again everything cold but juices warm. Requested extra pillows took 1 hour then person opened door to give me pillow. Not really clean. Staff not friendly. Should be a 2 star not 4 star.
Staff - didn't seem to be able to smile
This hotel is conveniently located to Garibaldi Station and the Como district where there are lots of cafés and bars
I booked 2 rooms - a twin and a club deluxe king. On arrival because one room was for my boys, aged 16 and 17 they would not allow them to be in a separate room from me. They found d us a standard twin room. My bed was hard and not comfortable. Also very little staff spoke English. Would not stay again. An over priced business hotel
- Some persons of the staff are highly professional and made me feel really well (Reception head and some waiters in the breakfast room) - I had a business room and it is large and very pleasant to stay - the bed is excellent - very good matelas, fine lining, change every day - the room and the bath are very clean - hotel location (next to underground) - garage at a reasonable price (20€/night) - breakfast is good (fresh fruits)
Internet is not for free, not even in the lobby and it does not work well
This hotel was down the block from my office in Milan, it had a train station right outside the main entrance, it was situated around the corner from a couple of blocks of restaurants, stores and a Eataly!!! The staff was excellent, food in the restaurant (in the hotel) was great. The hotel itself was a bit old but it gave the appearance of old Italy (that can be okay). I would definitely recommend this hotel to my colleagues traveling to Milan.
The carpets looked a bit dirty and the furniture was a bit old otherwise it was fine.
Location very convenient for evening eating & early start from Garibaldi Station; offer of packed breakfast
Extremely slow reception - big annoyed queue; inadequate refreshment facilities in the room; poor packed breakfast (but at least there was one)
The location and the comfort of the rooms are excellent the breakfast could be better.
No free wifi
Price cheap, paid for what I got.
Room was smaller than I thought. Lamp shade had water stains all over it. Bathtub was stained and cracked as well.
Location is perfect - about 20 minutes walking distance from the Duomo. Road runs mostly through pedestrian zone. Metro station is just in front of the hotel. Room is spacious & comfortable.
Upon arrival we waited in line at the reception for 50 minutes. There was an event in the hotel (Italian talent) that evening and only three receptionists received all the guests. Similar situation was next morning in the breakfast room. Wi-fi was quite slow.
Proximity to the duomo etc... and Garibaldi Station
The proximity to Stazione Garibaldi and the comfort of the hotel
Staff are excellent and location
Carpets are not clean
Breakfast buffet was nice, good location beside Garibaldi station.
The shower pressure was absolutely terrible... would not stay here again just because of this. Also, the line to check-out in the morning was unconscionably long. The hotel really needs to find a better, faster way of getting their guests checked out.
Very close to a fantastic pedestrian mall with lots of restaurants and loads of atmosphere.
