Hotel Grand'Italia  

Very nice hotel with clean modenistic rooms. Location very close to station and main street. I would highly rate this hotel for a stay in Padua.

Cleanliness. Helpful staff. Some of them more friendly than others. (Women serving breakfast nicer than receptionists). Location: 10 mins on foot from the city centre.

Hotel not suitable for single women travelling alone. Location too close to the station. Some people wandering around expecially during the night.

Good location, once your out of Padova Train Station, you will see Hotel Grand Italia. Staffs are good, speaks english well.

Room was nice, breakfast was good, the staff were friendly and helpful.

The bed and the pillows were hard. The hotel is ideally placed for the railway and bus stations but its a long walk to the town centre.

The internet computer in the room which was supposed to work through the television screen could not be made to operate - this was a disappointment. An internet provider was found up the street.

We chose this hotel for the proximity to the train station which was excellent. However,The area around the station is about a 15 minute walk to the scenic part of Padua, and it is necessary to pass through an area that is a little sketchy especially at night. The breakfast in the morning was great, and rooms were spacious and clean.

It was very well located, just infront of the train station so very easy to go to Venece and Verona from there, also well located to enjoy Padova, which is an amazing city

The receptionist Alexandra was super nice and very accommodating. We had to take our baby to the doctor while we where there and she was of great help. Also, they heat bottles in the middle of the night! Which is excellent if you have a small baby.

We have stayed at this hotel at least twice a year for the last five years. During this time Giovanni Capovilla, direttoire, who retired earlier this year, has led a team that has remained virtually unchanged over this period, who have been welcoming, attendant to detail and courteous. The selection available for breakfast is first class, the decor is interesting and the location- only one hundred metres from the railway station-makes it an excellent starting point for access to Venice and other places of interest in the Veneto region.Despite comments from other visitors, we have never found the multi ethnic groups who appear to use the local cafes as their meeting point in anyway a problem nor even intimidating in their behaviour to us which, given we are both pensioners one might expect.

It's conveniently located across the street from the central railway/bus station. Has a McDonald's on the ground floor of the building. It's quite inside the hotel, although it's at a busy junction. Besides the normal items, ie. Breads, croissants, cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, yoguart, fruits, etc. served for breakfast throught out Italy, I was surprised to have strawberries during the 2 days stay at this hotel. Their free internet in the room actually works.

The neighbourhood doesn't seem safe which is probably normal for areas around the train/bus terminals.

We liked it as it was close to the train station, right across the street, near Venice just hop on the train for half an hour and walking distrance to historical downtown and St. Anthony's Basilica

A busy area due to it's location with alot of people hanging about.

The staff were extremely helpful and the room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The location was great - right near Padova railway station and easy access to trams and busses. This was a great hotel and fantastic value for money

O atendimento e muito bom e o hotel corresponde com o esperado. Quartos espacosos e limpos e um cafe da manha bem servido!

A localizacao, talvez pela proximidade da Estacao Central, seja um pouco prejudicada, mas nada que interfira na estadia. Basta evitar o horario em torno das 18hrs (quando o clima e bastante pesado).
