The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the wait staff excellent. The gentlemen working the front desk were wonderful. I would stay here again. The restaurant, no ambiance. I had ministrone soup - it was good, but it just seem cold with wait staff hanging around doing nothing.

Location is good for high-end shopping and pretty good for the Duomo etc. Staff seemed terribly put out by the slightest request for something minor which becomes very tedious after a three day stay. The rooms on the Park side, which are more expensive than elsewhere in the hotel, are noisy and are very hot, thus necessitating an open window and the resultant noise. Breakfast is best described as lousy. There's plenty of choice in Milan in a similar price-range and I would suggest looking at those hotels before booking The Manin.

This hotel is in a great location, within a short walk of the Duomo, the shops and museums, overlooking the park, so is very convenient for getting about Milan and it saved us a lot in transport costs as we walked to most places. It is also near the metro and a taxi rank, only 2 stops from the main train station linking to the airports. The breakfast was excellent, with a great choice of hot and cold, fresh food. I would definitely recommend it.

Staf is very friendly. They helped us book restaurants and greeted and smiled to us every time. We had room 622 with Park view. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is decent. WiFi did not work properly in room 622. I did not like the way the sheets are wrapped around the bed cover. They get loose. I prefer the "enveloped" bed cover

Although the hotel is pretty small, room is fairly small, but it's inside the Milano city, it's pretty fair. Rooms are new furished, clean and modern. Be aware: there is a receptionist guy that very rude which didn't match the 4-star standard. Other than that, the other staff like bell man, and other front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The incredible receptionist guy that checked us in, was very rude with us. We knew we arrived quite early, and we are forieng/asian guests (which is the most common in hotel industry), and we speak english and together with a local Italian with us. (I do understand italian too so I actually understood what he's talking to our Italian friend) but the receptionist was just repeating us it's too early, I need your passport(3-4 times) not even gave us time to take it out, and it was a single & a double room but I had to remind him otherwise he kept asking the 4th passport..?? If the room is not ready for us is no problem we just need to drop the luggages and already have plan to go out. Furthermore, he even asked why we had a spanish plate of our car, to be honest, this is really non of his business and it's the last thing to do to pry guests' privacy. This receptionist's name is starting with f---, very common name in italy. Be aware if you meet him to check in.. Be strong!! It's really a pity coz the hotel is quite cute and location is good to commute or even walk to shopping streets. However the receptionist (the only 1) made the experience the worst ever and I wouldn't recommend to stay there.

I've been in Hotel Manin and it was fantastic. It's situated in a perfect position you can reach it by car,it's out of AreaC , (5€ day) but it's absolutely in the center of Milan!!! It's very close to the Fashion/shopping district, to Duomo's square and to Brera's district that it's very cool for dinner and drink at night. It's also very well reached from public transport ( line 1/3 metro and lot of Trams and City Busses). The Hotel is one of the most historical in the city but I hope they have renewed cause it's very cool and full of interior design items. The Staff is very kind and professional. Unfortunately I was there in November so I couldn't put to use the garden, cause it's very amazing and I hope the dinner in it should be fantastic!! I will absolutely come back in the future.
