The room view was excellent. So was the view from the terrace restaurant which was very good. The variety of food served for breakfast was relatively poor (for example there were no hot plates as eggs e.t.c.) |

What a great place to stay, about a 5-10 minute walk from Termini many buses stop outside the door or opposite the basicila. The view we had was sensational and the Church bells ringing added atmosphere weren't noisy or bothersome. If in Rome again we would definitely stay here . |

The original part of the hotel is quite elegant. The rooms, though not large, are beautifully decorated, sound proof, bath rooms are perfection, closet space is well designed. The rooftop dining room and open air seating, which overlooks the Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore, is a great start to every day and its perfect summation comes time return, The annex, which I believe is a work in progress, is not so attractive. The rooms, though larger, are not otherwise attractive, |

The location was excellent. The brakfast was good, but lack hot meals included in price (such as eggs, potatoes, etc.). They were efficient on our request for shuttle and wake-up calls. Not very helpful at the front desk, their attitude was snobish and too businesslike. |

The staff at reception were fantastic - nothing was a problem to resolve. The room decor suited the area and the city and the room size was adequate. Overlooking the Maria Maggiore from the terrace was a bonus that has to be experienced. The male dining staff could have been perceived as off hand but after 3 weeks around the Med you learn that this is just a front and they do their job very efficiently |

Very Professional staff. Accomodations were good. The rooftop Bar and deck is basically the best thing the Hotel has to offer. Location was very good to getting around to all the sights. I would come back. |

Beautfiul surroundings - beside Santa Maria Maggiore basilica and with superb access to tour buses, most of whose stops were just two minutes walk away. Also plenty of small cafes and trattorias for variety for lunch and evening meals. |

The reception staff were great, always very helpful. The rooms were always clean and the bed linen changed daily. The roof terrace was an excellent facility for a pre-dinner drink or night cap. The continental breakfast was excellent and always plentiful. In comparison to some of the local restuarants, the evening meal was average. |

It was a very convenient location to the historical sites, and tour buses. Had a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant. Next to a nice outdoor cafe. I wouldn't call it a really luxurious hotel, but it was nice. We had a room on the top floor with a view of a historical church and plaza. Liked that they picked us up at the Port, and also drove us to the airport. Very nice employees. The bathroom sink was cracked. The rest of the bathroom was very nice, but the sink made it seem not as nice as it should have been. |

The roof top breakfast was quite nice. The furnishings, bedding, wall covering all were old and out of date. The hotel didn't deserve a 4 star rating. |

The hotel is close to city centre. Good breakfastbuffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Even if we ordered non-smoke rooms (3 off), one of our rooms smelled a lot of smoke. There was occasionally cold water in the shower. |
