Breakfast is good, lots of things to choose from and plentiful. Rooms are big. Location to Trastevere and Varican is good. But they are the only good points unfortunately. The hotel is definitely not 4 star. The rooms are shabby, old and unkempt. The furniture is cheap and dirty. Fridge was mouldy. Kitchen had no utensils, plates or cups. Drains in the bathroom were putrid. Noisy rooms, disinterested staff. Internet is slow and has a 500mb limit, then you pay. It's like someone had a great design idea for a hotel and then had no money to follow through. A big disappointment.

The bar and restaurant were relaxed and informal. The breakfast room worked well, but maybe you should think of gluten free bread in future. The staff were excellent and helpful at all times. The rooms needs a bit of TLC. It's looking a bit rough at the edges. Chips of paint on furniture and floor. The television is at least 15 year old and the reception on it was terrible. As a result we never watched it once. Has no one heard of flat screen?

Hotel was near tram route 8 which was very useful to get to downtown and you can buy tram tickets from hotel reception. Good water pressure on shower and did not lack warm water either. Hotel building was quite new. Rooms quite clean and cleaning service worked well. Reception staff spoke quite good english and guided you politely if there was some question like how to get to Vatican from centre. They also helped to get a minibus for return trip to airport which was great thing when travelling with small kids and heavy luggages. At first morning breakfast bacon was not fried well and next mornig it was almost burned. Modern breakfast hall very noisy (concreter walls) so if you seek calm and quiet place to start your day this is not for you. Little bit odd solution to split big room by partition wall (which I found quite painfull when stubmled to narrrow corridors wall, not for big man). Small lifts but worked well. Rooms key fob was so large that it was impossible to forget those to your pocket during city trip:) Ensimmäisenä aamuna pekoni oli hailakasti paistettua ja seuraavana mustaksi paistettua.

The location of the hotel was great for getting into the city centre. Breakfast had a good selection although more coffee machines and toasters need to be supplied. Room was always clean and made up well. Staff friendly and helpful The building sight immediately opposite the hotel was extremely loud and work began at 7:30 am waking us up each day! Not what you want on holiday and not the nicest of views. Although the room was clean, it was not comfortable. The layout was confused and inconvenient and having paid extra to receive a king-size bed, we were disappointed to see it was just two single mattresses pushed together. Uncomfortable and annoying to wake up in a gap in the bed! It was a very noisy hotel, especially when there is a rave disco being blasted through the building until 11:30pm. Whether you wanted to be a part of it or not it was so loud with no doors being shut or any effort to contain the noise, we had no choice but to be kept awake by thudding music.

Location, cleaning I've booked a suite, according to the Pictures on Internet were my expectation to get a room which was designed and equipped the way I saw it ( jacuzzi, row terrace) there! But the room was quiet differnet !When I talked to the staff about the differnces they said that the room is according to the description and it is upp to booking.com to inform costumers that the booked suite is not the one which is promised in the Internet (pictures). I think it's there's "policy" to advertise lowcost rooms ( with wrong pictures but korrekt features ) just to fill upp the hotel . I got these impression by talking to the front desk woman .

Nothing specific. Was an average hotel. We were checked in a room with balcony that was renovating. There were workers on our balcony, and front of the hotel. After we complain, we were moved to a room that had the front work finished, but there were a lot of noise and dust when we open the balcony. Also the walls in the room were scratched at the corners. The walls really could use some paint. This was like a normal 3 *** hotel, not by far a 4****

The location is very good and you should stayhere if you want to be close to public transport and local attractions and the convenience of having a rather extensive breakfast included in the rate. Dull and rather torn down room. Small gym, need to be booked in advance as only two persons were able to be there at the same time. Speed of WiFi, you get a 7 days pass with 500 mb speed 256 kbs.

The location was decent. The room was old and dirty and did not appear as it did in the pictures on Booking.com. There was renovation taking place outside our window that included loud hammering early in the morning. The air conditioner leaked like a drippy faucet onto the carpet and was so loud it woke us up and we had to turn it off to fall back asleep. Then, it was really warm in the room. We had to call maintenance to come and fix the rolladen (shutters) which got stuck in the closed position and prevented us from letting fresh air into the room. The menu at the restaurant is unexciting. The coffee served is the Nescafe instant kind. Seriously, I went to Italy to drink instant coffee? This place sucked. I've never left a bad review for a hotel before on Booking.com. Spend your money elsewhere.

The breakfast and the hospitality of the cafe/restaurant staff. The food was fairly average but the attentiveness of the staff was refreshing. Breakfast was quite good too. The bathroom was really poorly designed and difficult to get around. Difficult to close the shower door while in there and couldn't turn around in shower (and I am not overweight). Not possible to sit straight on the toilet as the bidet was about 4 inches from the toilet. The bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy and small. Location wise, it wasn't all that easy to get to the city sights. I did not feel all that safe in the area. Website is very deceiving. I think they use the photos of the only section of the hotel which has been renovated - the breakfast room.

Location; walking distance of good restaurants in Trastevere, tram 8 (to old city centre) and bus 3 (to Colloseum) nearby. Also easy to reach from airport (train to Trastevere station 20min) and then 3 stops with tram 8 or bus 3). Safety box Good water pressure in shower Staff is helpfull with providing maps, pointing directions and they also sell single use metrobus tickets (usefull on Sunday when the Tobacco shop who sells them is closed) The room is kind of dark so you have to turn on the lights, also during day time. The lights are 'design', which has a downside; they are so white / bright that they almost blind you (the ones next to the mirror). In the bathroom is not enough space for your toilitries travelbag. The showercurtain is too small, so the bathroomfloor gets pretty wet when you shower. Walls are thin; you can hear the tv / conversations of your neighbours (especially if they are Italian.. ;-) Carpet has stains and the hotel is a little outdated. Internet/wifi is expensive; they should make it free for guests! Breakfast; coffee and orange juice taste horrible.

The staff was really nice and helpfull, the room was big with a balcony and the breakfast was fine. There where always drinks and fruits available for guests in the lobby, which is a nice touch. The hotel has some really nice features, but it feels like it needs some updating - like why is there a non functioning kitchen in the room-
