Manageress in the Restaurant was a delight to meet. I also enjoyed breakfast. Good large room. I would have used the Cafe if it was not closed down for a time. Got staff to book return taxi trip to Ciampino for me, using the card I had for a special written stated rate from the inbound trip, but they booked a taxi of another company, - which cost too much. They had checked the card to ring the number for me. So not a mistake, I think. |

Good location, can walk everywhere if you want to, otherwise the No.8 Tram gets you into the heart of it very quickly. Breakfast is good if you're there early, not so much if you're near the end of service. But remember not to take the train into termini if you arrive at the airport. Go to Trastevere. But overall, you can do better than this. The staff are generally rude and arrogant, and pretty unhelpful. Can we borrow an iron - no - what do we do then - put your shirts out in the morning for cleaning and ironing - but I need them tonight - sorry (insincerely), irons in rooms are unlawful. Come on, is this for real! |

The Ripa Hotel is an art hotel, the corridors, dining room, foyer and bar are decorated with very nice contemporary art (which is for sale as well). The hotel is situated in Transtevere, a very nice neighbourhood with good connection to both Transtevere station (with connection to Civitavecchia and Da Vinci airport) and the city center (by foot or tram). Not all rooms are decorated in a design fashion manner, the cheaper rooms are more ordinary. |

The staff at the front desk were very helpful and informative. Breakfast was great as well, and there was a lot of space in the room (room for lounges, etc). We asked for a non-smoking room, but the air-conditioning brought in the smoke anyhow. We had our room changed, but the problem persisted. |

This was an excellent hotel on all levels. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions. We really enjoyed the location in Trastavere. It is a little more quiet part of town, but still in the mix of things. The restaurants are all excellent in the area and are much more affordable. The breakfeast was great every morning. The wi-fi service is not a good buy. I believe a hotel like this one should provide free wi-fi. |

the staff was extremely helpful. The spray from the shower was so sharp that my son said that it could shave his face. |

Great location, one block from the bus routes, with an easy and pleasant walk to the Roman sites. The room was large, clean and beautifully furnished. Breakfast buffet was generous, with eggs and bacon as well as "continental" breakfast. Locating the hotel is a challenge - perhaps Google street view could be amended to include a shot of the hotel entrance? |

the stuff was really friendly and the breakfast much more than we expected! we found a dead coakroach in our room (1st floor ) . it was discusting and unacceptable since we paid 250 euros each night. we mentioned it to the reception and they prepared for us a much better room at the 4th floor. |

The staff was really helpful, the location was excellent (near public transport) The communication before my arrival there really good. The electromechanical installation of the bathroom had problems (no ventilation). But the follow up when i report this event was fast. |

The hotel location is very convenient for exploring the city and sights of Rome, either on foot, or by hopping on the passing bus or tram. There was also a nice continental buffet breakfast each morning. It was also quiet, a nice respite from the crowded streets. Don't expect luxury - it's basic, but clean. Furnishings basic and showing a bit of wear and tear. It may be Roman 4*, but not comparable to international 4*, therefore felt it was poor value for money - however, it seems all Rome hotels are overpriced for standards delivered. |

Very friendly and helpfull staff, good variety in breakfast, spacious room and bathroom, close to the centre of rome(15 min walking) and good connection with tram and bus to get you there. Furniture in the room didn't fit with the design of the hotel , as they were a little bit damaged. Also, when being in the bathroom , you could hear other guests in other rooms. |
