The Ripa Hotel has a friendly staff, modern decor, a lovely breakfast, and a good location in Trastervere. |

Breakfast service was great for the first 4 days. Next 2 mornings it was a little mess. People in the hotel were great - reception, services, everything went superbly. Hotel is close to the tram stop which goes directly to the city center. We were staying in the non-renovated room but it was OK. The kitchen in the room doesn´t make sense. There were missing doors on the freezer in the fridge. |

Trastevere is a great neighborhood in Rome. Bed was hard but not terribly uncomfortable. May have been high style 10 or 15 years ago. Hard to believe that this this is a four-star hotel. $200+ a night. Very tired, old modern minimalist style. Ripped carpet in our room. Shower curtain that barely reaches the top of the tub strongly encourages flooded bathroom. Falling apart fold out couch. Outrageously expensive wifi. Housekeeping not thorough. The hotel staff is ndifferent and perhaps overworked. |

Location and the rooms - spacious and good design. No bar to enjoy a late drink. Breakfast was a little disapointing specially if you arrive towards the end of service. Rather small bathroom. |

Friendly staff - good breakfast included - large rooms - clean - quiet location. Not any cupboards or drawers for storage. Not enough clothes hangers - four each (x2). Master key did not switch off all lights when leaving the room. |

The friendliness of the staff and their readiness to provide assistance, as well as the design of the rooms. The location was a plus too. The mini bar should include a greater variety of drinks; I found my room rather dark; the door of the shower allowed water to come out causing a mess every time I took a shower; the air condition was rather noisy; the lifts were quite slow. |

Nice modern Hotel, situated perfectly in Travestere close to the action - in the liveliest part of Rome. Silent! Big Rooms, b I g Breakfast - hey, we are in Italy - they really go out of their way! Delightfully attentative Personell - espcially Walter at Breakfast Service and Maurizio at Reception. Absolutely go to Ripa Hotel again. Only one thing: please update the computer - it needs urgently some more sophisticated software so you can look and load airline data. And make it free of charge perhaps? |

Once we were settled it was a decent hotel. Breakfast was quite nice. The breakfast bag on the final morning was helpful. The bed was comfortable. It's about a half hour walk from the Colosseum. When we arrived (15 mins before check in) we were made to wait 45 minutes before we were given our room key. We found our room to be completely uncleaned and with twin beds when we had requested a double. We were late for a tourist booking and so had to leave all of our gear in reception while they sorted it out. Not a good welcome after traveling 10 hours. We received a new room with a double bed, but not an apology or recognition of fault. The rooms seem to be converted from student flats, they have a stove but no tea or coffee facilities or pots or pans. It does seem to be somewhere designed more for businessmen. |

The rooms are quite spacious. It was quite warm when we were there, but the airconditioning kept the indoor temperature fine. The staff is friendly and supportive. Breakfast is very good. The room didn´t have a cupboard. The seat in the room was not comfortable. The restaurant had only a very limited menu. The location is difficult to find. |

Modern hotel. Large bedroom. Pleasant airy dining room - well presented for a good buffet breakfast. The reception staff were very helpful - recommended a restaurant to our specification and had an efficient and quick system to order taxis. Didn't really have a bar - well you could get a drink from the breakfast area but it's not my idea of a cosy drink. Surrounding area was not very nice and not in the part of Trastevere where all the restaurants are. |

The Hotel needed refurbishing. The room was large and badly decorated with wallpaper curling off the wall, chipped paintings and a threadbare carpet. It was dominated by a huge kitchenette which had no water, gas or electric and a wardrobe which cut off the bed from a passageway along the wall. All this led to a feeling of claustrophobia. The breakfast was of a poor standard. All of the other guests I spoke to stated the same about their stay. |

The location Booklet said there was a pool/spa but there wasn'T. Pictures were misleading as our room was most definitely not 4 star. There was never enough tables set for breakfast when we got down there at 10am. All tables were full of empty plates etc |

Location and breakfast The minibar wasn't refill when I checked in so at the reception it was thought that I had consumed a juice. It was not nice to have to explain myself for something I did not do. |

we got an upgrade of the room. staff was very helpful, nice breakfast. bathroom shower spilled over the bath tub, no matter in what position you put it, causing the carpet to be wet. curtain was not enough to hold back the water. |

It's the second time I visited the hotel. The first time was with my boyfriend, the second time with my mum. Everything remains as good as the first time. All its service are ofhigh quality! The towel for the face could be of the same quality like the one for the body. |

Large room size for excelent location in city center at more than reasonable price. Levely design. No view. Although walking distace from centeral places, hiding in semi office/industrial area (although very quiet location as advantage while close to center) |

Very good value for money. Nice hotel with very large room and great service. Excellent breakfast buffet. It was a little bit further from the 'real' Trastevere than we expected. |
