The staff was unfriendly, arrogant, and ensured they conveyed their non-cooperation. They treated Booking.com reservation as well as Americans as second class guests. The benefits of booking through your web site were less than the direct booking on their web sitte (both price wise and facilities, such as spa and Sunday brunch were not included in booking through your web site). They also did not offer the shuttle service to/from Trastevere Railway station as per claim on their website. Their breakfast was unappealing, stale and did not offer as much varieties as even cheaper hotels we found elsewhere in Italy.

We stayed in early September 2011. The hotel was of a very good standard and was in an excellent condition. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel pool was a good size and afforded exellent views due to the different levels. The shuttle service provided by the hotel was also excellent and punctual and delivered its guests right to the walls of the Vatican city. I felt the drinks were very expensive which made you think about going down to a very nice bar.

Large, comfy room. Good shuttle bus to city centre, excellent breakfast! You have to pay for everything - the spa and the gym are not free for guests! Don't forget the 3 Euro tax per person, per night they add to the bill at chcek-out

The free shuttle which ran every hour or sometimes every half hour to the city and back. The swimming pool, the gym, and the sauna where quite useful, although one would be thinking to spend more time in the city than the hotel. But if you have children they can become quite useful. The breakfast is good, although you must have it earlier if you prefer it fresher. The restaurant food wasn't impressive and quite expensive. The fact is the food in the city is disappointingly rubbish and expensive too. The bar is also quite expensive. The hotel does provide Euro if you are short, but the rate is unfortunately quite expensive. You would be better of either using your credit card or take more cash with you. The problem with Italy is that you can't use your credit card as easy as we do in UK. There is also the problem with the shuttle bus, it seems to be full in peak times. So you're better off to organize yourself and plan everything in advance, so you can book your seat early.

The best thing in the hotel is internet. It works everywhere. The wifi network is really good. Nice balcony. Clean bedclothes everyday. Великий интернет в отеле. Где только не был, но здесь реально ловит практически на всей территории отеля. Чистое постельное бельё ежедневно Staff at the reception is not so friendly as it should be. Of course they answer your questions etc. but they should do it with friendly voice and face.. Breakfast is always the same. Tired about it afrer 3th day already. The worst thing is location. You have to make a reservation of free bus one day before and you also have to know when you are going to come back. It's really uncomfortable. No transport except free bus every hour and a taxi. So if you like to come back to the hotel for couple hours during a day - this hotel is not for you. Одинаковый завтрак. Бесплатный автобус надо заказывать заранее и знать точно когда возвращаешься. Это неудобно. Если вы любитель вернуться в отель днём на пару часиков отдохнуть - этот отель не для вас.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The bed was very big and comfy. The shuttle service to the Vatican was handy once you booked in advance. The atm in reception was useful when it worked. Breakfast was nice enough. The hotel is clean throughout. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We had a room to the front of the hotel and could hear alot of noise in the morning from arriving/departing coaches. There were one or two reception staff that were nice but most of the staff we met were surly and very unfriendly. Dinner in the hotel is a complete joke. We went in for dinner and promptly left when we saw what was on offer. The bar should not be described as a bar. It is a one man show with a very limited choice of drinks and the bar man was not at all friendly. He was cranky and rude. The hotel is fairly isolated so one would expect it to have the facilities to allow you to come back in the evening and relax within the hotel. We are not very fussy travellers but all in all we were extremely disappointed with our stay. We didn't feel welcome and there was absolutely no atmosphere in the hotel. I cannot express how souless this place is. We had hoped it would be a nice retreat after a day in Rome. In contrast we felt isolated and trapped at this facility. Due to the absolute lack of atmosphere we did not want to spend our evenings in this place but yet we were too far from anywhere else. It being our first trip to Rome I am bitterly disappointed. I also tried a massage in the SPA...my advice, don't bother. It was rubbish. There are far nicer places than this to stay.

The hotel is away from the City centre in a quiet location with an excellent bus service to the Vatican. We booked a "luxury room - overlooking garden etc" at extra cost but on arrival were given a standard room overlooking car park, On returning to reception were told that the 'luxury room" was only if available and that none were available since the hotel was full...... After some insistence we were given another room. The 'luxury' surcharge is a complete con - the rooms are all the same. Advice would be don't pay extra just demand a garden facing room on arrival. Expect reception staff to be abrupt and unhelpfull ! Restaurant seemed to be buffet every evening, female staff not too bad but male waiter/manager would probably be better employed not facing customers. One evening after 6 of us had finished our buffet and moved out to a terrace chair we fancied a little more cheese with a bottle of special wine (which the restaurant refused to allow us to drink at the table - we offered to pay corkage) but were told we would have to pay extra (11euro) for a small plate since we had already signed the bill !! This was the last time we ate in the restaurant and went outside other night. Morning staff much better and some actually smiled ! Various 'deals' seem to be available for this hotel - it turned out we paid 2x what the people in the next room had. Advice would be value ok up to 150 euro but if they ask more stay somewhere else

The price of food and drink at the hotel, as there are no shops or restaurants nearby they take advantage of this and charge 30 euros each for a sunday buffet lunch and 18 Euros for a sandwich being two examples!

Knowing that it would be very hot in Rome at the time we were looking for a hotel with a swimming pool, which was very nice, plus we had a good laugh when we were given a swimming cap along with the towel. We ate dinner once and it was very good, plus staff very friendly. Hotel is located close to a very big park in a residential area which was very nice for relaxing. I do recommend though that you take a taxi there when arriving (either from train station or airport) until you are familiar with the public transportation. We stayed there for 10 days and it would have been nice if there were more options for breakfast. During the summer the bus shuttle should run more frequently and later than 10:20pm.

the pool was really nice, great to cool down before or after a days sightseeing. the buffet breakfast included was outstanding - fruit, cereal, bread, bacon and eggs great range of food. the rooms were classy plus cleaned regularly. the location, miles from city centre, free hourly bus from 8am - 10pm took 20mins into town which was good (+ free) but after or before those times taxis were needed average of €15. no shops or public transport even close. plus an extra charge of €20 per person to use the indoor pool and facilities which was not mentioned on booking.

We had a very stay at the hotel; the staff was very friendly and prompt with our requests and the room was good. Breakfast good as well with the only minor remark that after 4 breakfasts it would have been nice to see a little variation in the offerings. A remark for those visiting Roma for its center: although the hotel offers an excellently kept bus service, the hotel is some distance from the center (a taxi or the bus back is absolutely needed) and the nearest caffè or eating facility requires a taxi or so as well.

Impression on the hotel is very good. It is located in fantastic park area, creating atmosphere of total relax. At the same time it is only 7-10 minutes by car from the centre of the city. It is really good to spend couple of hours in spa after a day of site-seeing. In fact it is a proper resort, but very close to the historical centre. Was a bit surprised by absence of slippers, bathrobe and even sewing kit in the room. Tea set in the room would also be useful. Though it has not had significant impact on the general good impression on the hotel.

Breakfast was great and good service. Room very clean and confortable Staff is not very firendly, and was told this is the way Italian are. I ask at the reception and request what was too visit around, the employees turn around without saying anything with no answer. I ask again and say you did not answer my question. That person through me a map and says it's all in it. They have a spa and all services, however they charge for usage of it.

We liked the location very much and found the free bus service from the hotel into the centre of town quite fantastic! The room was nice and spacious and overlooked lovely greenery. Also the little balcony with 2 chairs and a table made it very cosy although we could not make use of it because of the weather (!) There was a thunderous storm on the first day of our stay. The breakfast choices were more than adequate.

The efficiency of the hotel is excellent especially so when compared to the general inefficiency of Rome City for tourists. The bus service was also excellent to Vatican city and allowed easy access to other parts of historical Rome and the shopping areas. The breakfast was excellent and fast. The rooms are large and very comfortable being well appointed, we had three beds and plenty of space in the room. The whole hotel is in the relaxing park area of Rome and is a very welcome change from the over crowded city after a busy day. Whilst the dinner buffet was good better value and a more interesting menu can be obtained in the city. The hotel bus runs late so this is an easy option.

Very professional and clean. Excellent value for money. The courtesy bus was essential. The breakfast staff were great. I felt the front desk was un-orderly and confusing at times. Especially lining up behind people checking in and out just to book the bus. Also the bar should open earlier for coffee.
