Like sleeping in an indian restaurant kitchen
Breakfast acceptable Location acceptable
Extremely noisy from inside and from street. Very bad manners from the personnel. Bed springs would hit my body. No internet in rooms despite their advertisement. Lack of clean towels after doing the room. No elevator (hidden disadvantage) to carry luggage and people to the 3rd. floor Bathroom door broken and in poor conditions separating the bathroom from the bedroom. One old man (Bruno) on "guard" at nights (He'd sleep the whole time) He'd spoke very bad italian (I'm fluent in the language) no English or Spanish. And he'd get upset when asked for something. In a few words, this hotel is a rip-off for the services it provides. I'm surprised that Booking.com hooks up with them.
The hotel is very near the center, 20 min walk from all the "must see" in Florence. The host was very nice. For travelers that wish to save money and stay in the center this hotel is a good choise.
There is no elevator in the hotel, the reception is on the second floor and our room was on the third floor, it was very difficult to go up with the suitcases up the stairs. The shower was very small, the WiFi signal was very week at our floor. The breakfast is continental, kind of poor for my taste.
Reasonably close to all major landmarks.
Although advertised as wifi in rooms, this is not so. I had to use wifi in the passage. Old man serving breakfast was very grumpy.
location nice staff
The location. Allowed for easy acces to many facilities in cty centre.
welcoming was not encouraging. Unattractive lobby(dirty, dusty, smelly, needed a paint job.) Complaint handling was poor, breakfast was very poor. Service management was not satisfactory.
Location: close to railway station and main places of tourist attraction. Friendly personell. Nice decoration of the hall. Looks very Italian.
Small window faced to the roof and air chimney. Walls needed to be painted or washed. Small shower cubicle. Poor soundproof: we could hear every word in TV program in the neighbouting room.
Good location and friendly staff. Recommended a good restaurant where I'd go back any day.
Good location, air conditioner, very nice and friendly staff provided us with a map of Florence and restaurant recommendation.
After checking in we had to listen from our room, 30 minutes of yelling and swearing in Italian, probably from the owner to the personnel. Narrow room with two single beds with 20 cm space between them. Shower only with curtain which made the bathroom completely wet after each shower. Room and bathroom windows facing some sort of terrace with construction materials on it, worker passing in front of your windows, drilling and working on it. We find only one socket in the room, in the bathroom... Power went off couple of times in one evening, the old man from the night shift did his best to fix it. On the last morning we had out at 9:00 for breakfast on the same street with the hotel (the check out was at 11:00) we informed the receptionist that we'll come back in one hour and was no problem, BUT, probably the owner again, asked us to clear the room before heading out, for the cleaning staff to have time to clean (one day before our room was not cleaned because the hotel had to many guests). I tried to explain her in English that we have to leave only at 11:00 but she insisted to go back, pack and leave the luggage at the reception. It was an extremely frustrating experience for our two nights in this hotel and the two stars are with one more than deserved...
A perfect hotel not far from the railway station, a very clean and quiet place, I've never regretted booking a suite there.
Absence of lift, wi-fi of bad quality, staff is not really good at talking in english
good location, 1 staff member very nice,
first room had no private toilet, shower curtain was dirty
A good location, walking distance from the Santa Maria Novella Train Station and very close to the main centre and all the museums/galleries etc. a very basic and cheap base for exploring the city.
On a very noisy road. Rooms are tiny, bathroom even smaller. Breakfast is not great and you have to eat in reception. There is a gate up the stairs that is locked mornings/evenings and only opened by a buzzer in reception, can't imagine how people would escape in the event of a fire! On leaving, the hotel had already charged my credit card with the room price without asking, which was annoying as I had withdrawn euros to pay in cash. I wish I'd have paid a little more for a better hotel. I wouldn't stay again and I wouldn't recommend staying here.
Bad painting on the room. Very small shower.Fine walls. We can listen neighbours'tv.
Staff were realy really helpful. After wasting hours trying to book tickets online, I went down to the front desk and asked the staff member how I could book tickets. He picked up the phone, and within 10 minutes, had booked tickets for me at each of the galleries I wanted to visit (in Italian). I wish I'd asked sooner! The air conditioning was also very effective.
The strength of the Internet connection was poor. Spent a lot of time walking around the room trying to find spots where my iPad would pick up the signal. Once connected, it kept dropping out and was generally pretty slow.
Location is good. Close to spots, bars and laundry shops. 10 min walk from Train Station. Good security, gate has to be opened by the guard.
Poor facility, room smaller than 10 sqm. No lift !!! Staff not speaking English at all. Only one elderly staff at night with all hand righting records of booking without computer system. Actually check-in was not in the same hotel. Three hotels sharing the same reception. Couldn't understand a word from the staff when checking in at night. Almost thought I ran into the wrong place. Room looks dirty, old and damp. I won't stay there again. No match for a 2 star hotel. There are many other choices around the area.
Location is good.
Very very very noisy! About the same to have a bed in the middle of the street or at the bar. A lots of mould. Shower impossible because of too low water pressure. Breakfast very poor.
Location was good and staff were friendly. The room was clean and tidy and commensurate with the price I paid.
in the center, near a parking garage. You must not drive by car in a restricted area around the very center of florence, otherwise you have to pay a penalty-fee.
back to history.... once upon a time, 60 years ago. No breakfast, no parking included. Shower was very small.
- breakfast was monotonous
Very helpful, friendly staff. Good breakfast included. Great location. Large room for a great price.
An old hotel close to train station.
WiFi does not cover all rooms. The receptionists can not communicate in English very well.
Toilet facility is very bad.
Internet doesn´t work. Poor breakfast!
