Short walking distance from the train station. Fairly comfortable room and bed, with quiet environment for a good night's rest.. Good location in Venice with shops and restaurants in the vicinity
Lack of lifts is a problem for guests with heavy luggage Free Wi-Fi is not very stable or reliable with poor reception
This was a nice little hotel , breakfast was great and hotel facilities where good. Location was the best thing very close to the main thoroughfare to the main area of Venice and very close to the station.
The Location is very nice. Right in the middle of the touristic center. Surrounded by tons of souvenir shops and restaurants. 5-7 Minutes Walk from the Train Station. In house vending machine was cheaper than the shops outside.
The Wifi was almost non existent. Hardly any signals in the room and had to get into the lobby to catch some good signals, even then very slow connection. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. Small and Very Basic room. As indicated on the hotel website, mosquito repellent is quite necessary if you wish to enjoy a good sleep.
The staff is great and the location is great. But except these two, everything is just so so.
- Clean and comfy room - I reserved a single room with shared bathroom but they gave me the one with bathroom, really like it. - Staff is very helpful and kind
A shower over a toilet in a toilet room was not what we expected for a bathroom.
+ Central Location. Close to everything. 2 major vaporetto stops, walk to train station. + Quiet Location. It's just through a cute archway off the main drag.
- Old fashioned hotel, no coffee/tea making facilities - not even glasses. No fridge, no safe. Needs an upgrade. - Smallest shower known to man - Staff were standoffish but seemed to know their work - didn't find them exceptionally helpful or friendly - Breakfast had no fruit, coffee was terrible, they kept running out of food and kitchen staff looked so grouchy all the time. Cramped food service area.
Didnt like the room we stayed ins
great location clean basic hotel in the right spot, great for water taxi bus station and train station restaurants bars shops fast food outlets.
Very close to railway station, clean and cosy
I stayed on the 3 floor, Wifi connection is poor.
Close to the train station/Piazzale Roma. Clean. Quiet. Helpful staff.
The location is perfect. The room (#4) was comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly.
The shower in the room, while clean, didn't work well. And, the cost was a bit high for the season. I would, however, stay here again.
Good location, close to the entrance of Venecia
Slow internet signal
It is conveniently placed for the railway station
My room was not in the building pictured on the web site, but in the building opposite. It appeared as though the upper floors were private apartments and the hotel had converted the ground floor flat (badly) into additional bedrooms for the hotel. The entrance hall is gloomy and uninviting. The web site described the room as having simple traditional furnishings, but in my room were all made from MDF and plastic, and were very uncomfortable. Hardly traditional. The bathroom was very dated. The TV was a 12" analogue CRT and looked to be at least twenty years old. Now I know you don't go to Venice to watch TV, but I think this shows the lack of investment in the hotel, at least in the annexe. The photos on the web site are obviously of rooms in the main hotel, and look nicer. But I think that all the rooms in a hotel should be of a similar standard, and the rooms in the annexe are clearly not.
Good location, close to train station.
No lift. Carried my luggage to the 3rd floor almost killed me...
We spent recently spent 2 nights at Hotel Guerrini. The location near the train station and the Grand Canal was a major plus. Clean rooms....good breakfast...helpful staff. Good value for the money.
cheap, very near the station, clean, quite, so you will be able to sleep well, fast and easy check in and check out. easy to find. if your in a honeymoon, you might want to consider finding another hotel. but if you are in a budget, this hotel delivers without a problem.
there is one staff in the reception which is not helpful, and ask him to get us a hot water from the machine but he gave us a hot water from the tap instead. there is only one bathroom for sharing of 5 rooms on each floor but hey check the cheap rate against the others..
Location, staff and the wi-fi
Small rooms, lack of lift to take up luggage
Great location for a short stay in Venice, very quiet alleyway just a short walk from bus or rail station. You will find a reasonable priced Irish bar to the left of the alleyway and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
Room 43 is over the other side of the alley and had no sink but did have a shower room just outside shared by two other rooms, the corridor to the room is dark and dingey.
Furniture is so beautiful and create right atmosphere for Venice. Our room was small as everything else in Venice which also is good for proper feeling. Personal was very kind.
WiFi was very bad inside room so sometimes we need to go out from room just to send iMessage with text only.
Bathroom shared by about six rooms. Very small room, with no facilities; not even a washbasin. Unhelpful staff: checked me in, and that was it; no information. Wi-Fi abysmal, even when standing in front of the range extender.
Location is good near to stations and is down a quiet alley. Breakfast was okay!
Rooms need renovating, old Venice design with small bathroom. It was fine for a three night stay
Apartments were great
The breakfast was good, but could be better. No refrigerator in apartments.
It's close to the railway station and bus station so easy to get to .The waterbus stations are only 3-4 minutes away on foot and there are lots of safes/bars/restaurants closeby. The breakfasts are available from 07.30 and there is a good choice and plenty of it.As you can eat at 07.30 it means that you can get to the waterbuses before it gets too busy and therefore to the tourist attractions before the queues build up. Wifi is really quick and available 24 hours a day throughout the hotel. The staff at Reception are really helpful and have a great knowledge of the area. There is also a good cheap supermarket close to the bus station for any bits and pieces that you may require. I recommend the hot chocolate at breakfast !!
No bar, but chilled drinks available from the reception area and competitive prices.
The location is great for sightseeing going to the train station.
Wifi condition, the choice of food at breakfast
