Great location, right next to the metro station, and a few minutes walk from Termini. I had the room with en suite bathroom, and it was quite nicely outfitted. I had to argue for the AC remote to turn it on. The other rooms I believe have shared bathroom. The staff was very helpful.
The sink was leaking a bit, towel a bit small but that is what you expect from budget accommodation. The biggest problem was that one night some drunk students in the hostel were quite drunk, noisy and had a fight. Perhaps not the best place for a kid, because students are more likely to be rowdy
Nice quiet room
The location was very handy to the romantic termini but unfortunately that area of roam is a bit rough
I liked that it was really near the colosseum and that the subway is in front The beds aré comfortable and all rooms have their prívate bathroom
I didnt like that personal is a little bit rough, there is no one on the reception at night and when its time for check out theyre more rough, the personal is a chinese and an árab person that dont speak any language Well so its difficult to understand them and the price is too high for what it is.
Next to the metro station
The lift is dangerous and awful. The place doesn't have any sign so it could be hard to find for tourists. They don't accept credit card payment. They ask 20 euros additional as a deposit for the keys. I stayed two nights and after the first night they asked me to move to another room because a family was coming so I had to pack everything again and move. They don't have anyone there or anything close to a reception, so you need to tell them the exact hour of your arrival, if not you won't have a way to enter to the place. For the breakfast you need to wait for someone to be there and knock at your door, if you are taking a shower at the exact moment they are serving the breakfast you will miss it. I don't recommend this place to anyone
Clean,comfort and staff friendliness.
Access and initially making contact with someone
Near the main train station
Street noise makes sleeping almost impossible. No facilities at all. No real Hotel Reception. Impossible to pay online or with credit card during my stay.
I liked the room, clean bathroom and acces to wifi
No access to kitchen or at least a kettle or hot water, the wardrobes were locked and we weren't allowed to use them so we had to keep clothes in bags on the floor and under beds. The people in the hotel were local "business" women and the area was really dangerous and unfriendly. The hotel was just 3 rooms in a flat on high floor without reception. Entrance to the flat downstairs was accessible to local tramps sleeping and drinking there.
the guest house was in a horrible area. The building was in poor shape. They insisted on cash instead of credit card. Very unpleasant experience. It was difficult to communicate with the staff. Terrible breakfast.
Good location, friendly atmosphere.
When we needed help with printing important data- the stuff had no printer+ they had no idea where to find one.
The man looking after us was very nice
Room on fourth floor of a very old building on a very busy street, with trams and busses running till very late and no double glazing on window, so was very noisy. Not much in way of facilities.
Position on the map
Metro entrance is in front of the guest house. It's walkable distance to colosseum. Some amenities were provided. Room and bathroom were clean. Receptionist could speak a bit English and relatively helpful. He opened the door for us although it's at 2am when we arrived. Said he's a new staff. Wifi was good in room.
The owner is Chinese lady who totally can't speak English at all thus it's super difficult to communicate with her even though I and my friend know some Chinese words. The surrounding was awful and unsafe, not recommend for solo lady traveller. Breakfast was served at 8.30, got small cup of coffee, orange juice, sunny egg, cracker, small piece of pie and jam. It's very noisy coz near to tram and bus service. They did not change the towel for us but clean the room and bathroom. If you wanna leave your luggage, please ensure the collecting time with the staff. Although we already informed him the timing, when we came, no one opened the door. Tried to call but could not understand w the receptor. Luckily another guest staying opened the door for us!!! Otherwise we might have missed our flight!!!
The area and the conditions of the building was very poor. The lift was wrong for one day, the house and the flat inside had a bad atmosphare.
The location was great, we were very close to the Colosseum and other places were easily to reach with the underground. Station right in front of the entrance into the buillding.
The room wasn´t really clean, besides we had troubles to reach someone to check us in and they moved us the first day to a completely other room (not even in the same street) without the facilities we ordered and the owner was very unfriendly, spoke just chinese and italian and would not admit that the move was her fault. Beds were not really comfortable, but bathroom was okey. For breakfast u will get coffee and mainly sweet stuff, however u never know, when it comes.
Rooms big n airy
Location outside at entrance is very very rundown, cant even fibd the horel initially
Staff did not speak a single word in English. Fortunately, receptionist had a friend there who helped to understand each other. Receptionist demanded EUR 20 deposit for keys, breakfast was served only 8.30 - 09.00, they demanded to keep our ID-s for whole stay, there is no free parking as advertised. Only after threatening to cancel reservation we were able to get more or less reasonable conditions.
location next to the main railway station in town
reality not corresponding to the reservation (e.g. absence of wardrobe). it's an apartment, with limited privacy. awfully dirty bath floor towel. a hair found on the towel on the bathroom bar. linen with a hole in it. the room glass door closed only by locking it; at night the hall light was kept on and the light would come into the room. window with a hole in it, while room giving to the busiest square, with buses and trams stations right underneath the window; was offered an alternative room in such sordid conditions (with no mention of a price change) that I could not accept. no paper basket/garbage bin in the room; you had to collect you garbage as you could and take it to the kitchen. dirty kitchen and with staff sleeping in there. breakfast directly served, without a choice, of poor quality and with a hair in it. TV fixed in the wall at an angle that didn't allow watching from the bed in any position. noise made by staff in the apartment until late at night and starting early in the morning; besides the room was next to the kitchen and thus more exposed to the inside noise. although sleeping with earplugs and eyes mask, I woke up all night long for the noises inside and outside. was woken up by the business owner at 22.15 on the arrival day to pay for the stay. left my luggage with them after the checkout; nobody answered the door when I came back and had to make a roaming call for somebody to came from another location to open the door for me; this delay made me miss the bus to the airport. unsafe surroundings (China town and railway proximity). overall a huge disproportion between the actual conditions and the advertised ones, and then between the actual conditions and the price (EUR 72). would definitely not recommend the experience to anyone.
There were three of us (two adults and teenage daughter) travelling, and we were a little surprised at the outside of the building (lot of graffiti & in the middle of Chinese quarter) However we found the bedroom bathroom were clean, and they were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was offered at extra cost of 5 euros each but we declined as we were meeting friends for breakfast. Wifi was fine.
Noisy outside - trams from very early. Only one small service elevator able to take one person & one bag at a time. Stairs too but it's on the 4th floor. Staff could only speak Chinese or Italian (we spoke neither!) A/C didn't work but they brought us a fan. Parking only on the streets nearby. Had to back in the room by midnight!
