Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Great parking. They kept turning off the air conditioner pump so the room got hot. They refused to let us sit near the window in the restaurant even though we were the only ones having breakfast. The room we got had no view even though the highlight of the hotel is the view. The hotel was not busy so we think they should have given us a better room. |

Breakfast: comprehensive, nice view on Palermo. View on a wall from our own room. There is a bit of a formal atmosphere (however, which can also be regarded as positive by some guests). |

A lovely location above the valley looking towards the Bay of Palermo.A clean an professional staff with very modern facilities.Warm and welcoming.Nothing was too much trouble.Would certainly stay here again. Resturant was very good with a beautiful view. Found the evening menu which was set for the week limiting. Tended to eat out locally. Nobody was dining of an evening and therefore sadly there was no atmosphere or feeling of life and living. |

Dinner inexpensive. Free internet.Nice room. There was a party at the hotel and the music was a bit annoying. If you asked for a capuccino (the only hotel in our stay in italy this happend)with the breakfast they charge you extra. |

Everything! This is definitely the place to stay - providing you have a car/transportation. Can you imagine Alitalia lost my luggage in Milan enroute from England. Since we had plans to travel the next day, I could not find out if my luggage had arrived. Arrangements were made with the Hotel Guglielmo II to keep the luggage until we returned to Monreale. They even called our hotel in Catania to tell us the luggage had arrived. This hotel was immaculate! The staff was most helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very nice and delicious. We traveled with two older sons and decided to get them their own room. They, too, were equally pleased with the accommodations. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel! Do not forget to visit the Monreale Cathedral!! |
