It's just a 10 minute walk from the center of Volterra to this 4-star hotel, which is surrounded by the hilly Tuscan countryside and offering an on-site restaurant and friendly service.

beautiful layout, but not close to center of town
hard to find, not close to center of town
The location. The lovely old building. The pool. The bedding.
I got the feeling that one employee had to take care of everything.
Location was great for us as we had a car and as the hotel is located on the edge of volterra, it is quiet and a good price. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was good.
Couldn't connect to wifi, however as we weren't to bothered we didn't ask assistance
Location quite a way out of town but has free parking and very quiet. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Somewhat faded decor but acceptable.
Spacious rooms, relatively good price, not too far from Volterra
Bad breakfast (everything was packaged in a place where there is an abundance of delicious, fresh food)
The location was wanderful. Because if you are travelling through Tuscany, you need a car. And is 5 minutes from Volterra's old town by car. There is everythig you may need. The guy who attended us was really greatful, trying to help us in everything. And there was a good breakfast!
Places to sit and relax. Friendly staff. Roomy ensuite. Staff gave us an aperitif and nibbles on my husband's birthday.
AC didn't work properly. Stayed on for 3 minutes. No effort made to fix it. Swimming pool water was green. Small discount made but didn't make up for little sleep due to heat. It was a holiday for my husband's 60th birthday and therefore was disappointing. It is 2.5k from Volterra so we had to take taxis.
Just loved this lovely old villa. It was an oasis of peace. Lovely clean room & bathroom both serviced to a high standard every day. Exceptionally lovely staff - they provided a high level of customer service, nothing was too much trouble & they made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this place to others
There was a problem with the swimming pool while we were there - the water was green & although we were assured it was safe to swim in we didn't want to take the risk. But as we went to the coast on 3 days it wasn't too much of an issue for us, although a swim a a hot day sight-seeing would have been good!
Close to Volterra. Quiet place
Hard to find, not on GPS, had to ask twice before we found the location. Poor breakfast
a beautiful 'villa' in the hills. calm, peaceful-a perfect foil after the frenetic pace of Florence.
the B and B is not in town. One needs either a car to get in to Volterra, or depend on local, arranged taxi service.
Lovely big room which was slightly old fashioned but in a good way. Had little balcony with table a chairs which was great . Also kettle and tea and coffee making tray - just take some milk!
The outside looked very unloved and tired. Booking.com said it was 0.5 km to centre but you couldn't walk it which was disappointing as we like to walk and had to use the car.
Very nice hotel. Very quiet. Good parking. Very good emplacement if you want to visit the nice town of Volterra when traveling by car. Good breakfast. Good wi-fi connection. Tea in the room.
No hair-drier in the room (we had to ask for it at the reception).
