I was sure there were alot more written on what was on offer at this place. Yes it was a distance out of Rome, whihc i was privvy to. However, when we arrived late, i wasn't expecting a cabin in a caravan park. Anyways, we lost purchased time on our internet, as it was in and out consistently, there were no phone communications, there was no breakfast (But it stated there were was a food restuarant). The bus / shuttle provider was a grumpy sod, and felt like everyone was putting him out, when it's his job to provide a service. A little bit of a smile goes a long way, aswell as a family of five struggling to get there bags in was frowned upon. The cabin was hideous, with feathers fallling out of the blanket quilt cover and the mattresses were lined with plastic. What did someone s#%t the bed or something?? The counter service in between a cigarette felt like we were also putting them out. Seriously i have stayed at some low budget places but this one takes the cake..On a scale of one to ten, one being worst, It's a definate below zero.

The location was good when looking for a quiet place for kids but also being close to Rome. It took us 25 mins to get to the center of Rome with the shuttlebus and train. Pool and restaurant area was very nice. The market at the campsite was almost non-excisting, could be a lot better so you didn't have to drive to get the most common things. You can only buy one type of bread and croissants for breakfast.

The only thing we liked was the black cat that was purring all the time and came to sleep to our house. Worst hotel ever! Real camping, that you can not reach if you don't have your car! We were waiting for more than 4 hours ar the Prima Porta railway station to get the "shuttle service"! When we got there we asked for a refund as it is really too far from city (no transportation at all) and room vas very dirty, small and uncomortable, smelled like an old barn, no toilet paper...etc...but they give us no refund, so we should stay there anyway. The guy at the pool was very rude-he shouted at me to get out of the pool as I did not have a cap. Nobody used the pool because of that and the pool guy just laughet about everybody! Hotel has a picture of happy people in the pool with no caps, but it is not true! Not happy hotel at all! We lost all our time getting there and back all day long for all unhappy week there! On a scale of one to ten, one being worst, It's a definate below zero!!!

Happy Vilage charges 20 Euro for cleaning you room and you have to pay for new towels. The place is in the middle of nowhere and if you miss the shuttle in the morning you are stuck at the campsite until 5 pm when the shuttle resumes.

I liked that Happy Village was cheap. As college students we were seeking out a cheap place to stay. It was also very safe. One thing that I did not like about Happy Village is the that it does not look like it is portrayed in its avertisement.

Cheap, nice bungalows. Quiet area. Small fridge in room. Quite far from city. No easy access to supermarket. Onsite catering consisted of open fire barbeque. Room described as having a kitchen corner, but only had a fridge, not even a kettle.
