Hotel was very comfortable and the staff was exceptional.
Modern hotel with character.
The staff was so helpful. It was our first trip to Rome and they gave us great advice on what attractions to make advance reservations for and let us email them the tickets and they printed them for us. They helped with directions and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast is included in the price which makes it a great value. The rooms are basic but very clean. It is literally across the street from the Vatican museum. The staff is really what makes this boutique hotel shine.
Excellent location and service. Great value for money. Super friendly staff
Great location Close to two metro stations Staff were friendly and helpful Good view from window
Room could have been slightly bigger
Staff very friendly, location close to Vatican Meusium and old city, coffee shops cafeterias, Cado shops are 3 min walking. My room was with terrace (highly recommend).
The staff were very friendly and gave great advice on where to visit and avoiding queues. We came back late a few nights but there was always someone there to let us in who weren't put out by our late arrival
As others have said, the staff was the most attentive group of people I had the pleasure of dealing with throughout my European vacation. The dining spots they recommended were outstanding and a good value. It is extremely close to the Ottavian Metro stop so you can jump on that and get to wherever you need. The location is also a 5 min walk to the Vatican which is awesome because I had to be in line before 7am if I wanted to get in before the line grows to over 3 hours long!
We loved the young lady at the front desk who was so helpful with absolutely everything. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Wonderful coffee!!!
The beds were extremely hard which some people may not like.
- The staff was great and helpful, very polite. - The room was great, big and comfortable, pretty good interior design, nice clean bathroom. We could see the Vatican from the window. - I had a problem with the credit card charge, my bank charged me, but the hotel didn't get the money. The manager called his bank and took care of it.
- The Aircondition doesn't work as it should. There were times that we couldn't turn it off, and there were times we couldn't turn it on. Also the curtains were on top of the aircondition. To have air coming into the room you had to open the curtains. But in the afternoon sun came into the room. So it was: Sun and airconditioning or No Sun, No Airconditioning - Breakfast felt kind of poor, but we don't have experience from other Italy hotels. - Location is pretty far from anything interesting, except the Vatican. - Very small lobby - public area.
The staff where very helpful The Location is great Great value for mony
Location was convenient to Vatican City, staff was friendly, and room was clean.
Neighborhood nightlife is limited in the area, rooms were noisy from sourounding traffic even on the third floor. The air conditioning was inadequate. Very uncomfortable during the day and night. We were not able to sleep with it being hot and with the hard mattress. Not worth the money.
Great location! The staff were very helpful suggesting things to see and good restaurants. At check in the staff gave a brief over view with a map which was very helpful. This saved time and avoided us getting lost as all sites were marked. A fridge in the room was a nice touch and had complimentary drinks inside. A car service was also called upon checkout to the airport which alleviated some stress .
Beds a little hard but still good.
Everything! Great room, great staff, great location, free breakfast and free Wifi.
I like the fact that the hotel is clean and it even smells good :) The location i great, just a few steps to the entrance of Vatican Museum. Lots of shops/restaurants around. easy to get by either by taxi, bus or by train. and oh, the staff there were wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. Simply loved them!!
- a little noisy when you open the windows. Since its just by the vatican walls and by the streets, it can be noisy. Just make sure you close the windows and ask for a room upstairs. I did and i had no trouble sleeping :)
Very helpful staff. Very close to Vatican Museum, close to subway, within walking distance to shops and eating areas. No outside noise in rooms, airconditioning, excellent Wi-Fi. A small fridge in room (bonus). A few soft drinks in fridge for free after that you fill it yourself. Small stores for food and drink nearby. Close to ATM's. Large queen size bed, and big shower (bonus). They didn't charge for accommodation until we arrived. Airport transfers available at cost. When booking in reception gave us a map marking all the main attractions, shops, subway, how to get where.
Bed as hard as rock. Breakfast very limited choice. Sound travels from other guests going to their rooms on an evening but not once inside. You could say it was expensive but that was because of the exchange rate.
The staff were all amazingly friendly. Thanks for a great stay in Rome!
Extremely helpful and friendly staff! They went through the map of Rome with is when we arrived and showed us how to get to all the sights, along with tips on places to eat (gelato, espresso and where to go for lunch and dinner). They helped answer any questions that we had and really helped make our stay in Rome comfortable.
The shower leaked (got water all over the floor when we showered) but it was like that everywhere we stayed in Italy. (We were in Italy for 3 weeks and stayed in 9 different hotels).
Location to train station breakfast included in rate wifi
No workout facilities ,restaurant prices high for dinner , 50% of front desk staff were helpful, the others were not helpful at all. Was a real turnoff.
This was our first time to Rome. When we checked in the staff was very friendly and gave us a map of the city and showed us all the things we needed to see. We stayed in the junior suite and loved it!! Very nice room with plenty of extra space available. It is right across the street from the Vatican. We would definitely stay there again.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. All of them bent of backwards to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable.
The air conditioner was inadequate and the temperature in my room, 204, was extremely uncomfortable when returning after a day of walking around Rome. Despite running all night it was still warm in the room in the morning.
Staff very Fantastic, Location was perfect.
Beds very hard.
This hotel was in an amazing area right beside the Vatican. Everything was very walkable in this area also surrounded by great food.
Location, location, location! Lovely room, very good breakfast and super staff...all at an extremely good price for being across the street from the Vatican Museum. Grocery store within the same block an a laundromat a block away. Nice neighborhood!
It's this simple: you'd be stupid stay any where else. Staff is sooo friendly and very helpful. It opened a year ago which accounts for the suspiciously low prices. Small hotel. Quiet. Right next to the Vatican wall. Steps to... Everywhere you would want to see in Rome. We had the 4th floor suite with patio. Not a lot of frills, not overdecorated but comfortable, clean and good breakfast included. Go to a museum or Vatican if you want over the top decor. I have to mention the shower: very powerful and hot. Free internet. We would stay here again. Caution: coming into airport be careful of taxis. We got fleeced. Research and plan ahead. Life lessons learned. Loved the hearth.
The mattresses are firm as they are everywhere in Italy.
Very modern and upscale hotel for the value especially so close to the Vatican museum. The bathroom was larger than most of the other European hotels and the included breakfast was very satisfying.
With over 500 TV channels it would have been nice to have at least one that catered to English speaking guests. The WI-FI worked for texting but not for internet access. I did not like leaving the hotel key at the desk without a safe in the room, but there was no issue.
