Just 260 ft from Pisa Central Train Station, 3-star La Pace is in central Pisa, a 20-minute walk from the Leaning Tower. It offers free Wi-Fi and a rich breakfast buffet.

Located 50 metres from Pisa’s Piazza dei Miracoli and 100 metres from the Leaning Tower, Hotel Pisa Tower features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.
Score from 1831 reviews Excellent
The Royal Victoria is the only hotel in historic central Pisa overlooking the Arno River. Take a short walk across charming, medieval streets and you will soon reach the Leaning Tower.
Score from 459 reviews Good
Casa San Tommaso is a small guest house set in a traffic-free zone of central Pisa, just 300 metres from the Leaning Tower. The rooms offer air conditioning, wood-beam ceilings, and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 553 reviews Very good
100m from pisa tower, personal very sympathic, rooms clean and comfortable.
Th Hotel was acceptable, facilities other than wifi acceptable and owners have good knowledge of area.
Lots of parking restrictions, had to carry suit cases nearly 1/2 kilo meter to the car. NO food available only machine drinks. General accessibility to the Hotel is poor.
Great location. Great staff. They sent an email on how to get to the hotel, it was very helpful. The room was nicely decorated with a big flat screen TV. There was a nice patio to hang out. Too bad we only stayed for one night
A little pricey for backpackers.
The Helvetia is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Get yourself round to the Square of Miracles early before the crowds and enjoy views of the tower whilst eating a croissant and drinking delicious coffee in one of the cafes. Even if you have to check out, the Helvetia has a locked storage room for you to leave your luggage in. Lovely, helpful staff.
There was nothing that I didn't like.
We liked that it was cleaned and that we were given bed linen and towels. Also our room had a sink which was also a bonus. You cant get much closer to the leaning tower... location is excellent!
The only thing we would have liked to have seen was a breakfast.... every other location includes one...
Amazing location - 2 minutes’ walk of the Tower and the main square, nice staff, clean, excellent value.
Poor Wi-Fi signal in the room.
Very friendly owners and staff. Very helpful about leaving luggage with them on day of departure. Very clean bedroom and bathroom. A most pleasant stay altogether.
Cold tiled floors, could have done with a rug or two perhaps.
Amazing value for money: right by the main tourist sites, but not on a main street so generally not too noisy; room comfortable and clean; staff friendly and helpful.
Moderately good rooms considering the excellent location. Pleasant, communicative and hard working staff. Also very happy to make the acquaintance of their lovely cat, and the garden sports the biggest cactus in town. Luggage storage offered; access to vending machine; good Wi-Fi. Recommended.
Regrettably, we found two bed bugs. I was unaware one had actually bitten me in the night - another on the wall. We only saw evidence of them on our last day and didn't have time to investigate: so they may possibly have been introduced by the previous tenants. Everything else was as expected so I have not deducted anything from the rating.
Location Late booking in - we had a late flight Clean Friendly staff Free maps Ideal for a very quick stopover Good price
Mattresses - cheap Noise late at night
Location was very convenient. Hotel was clean.
No elevator made for an impromptu work out while hauling luggage to the 4th floor.
So close to the tower. Great value and there is a great café for breakfast nearby. Staff helpful.
pisa tower is probably 150-200 meters away; plenty of restaurants around the area.
The location could not have been better! We were about a 3 minute walk from the Leaning Tower, which was perfect. It was hot and we didn't pay for the a/c but the ceiling fan provided in the room was awesome, and cooled us down right away. I liked the fact we only paid a little bit more to have our own private bathroom, too. We would definitely recommend this place to any couples just to spend a night or two in Pisa.
The room could have been bigger, but since it was just my husband and I, it was perfect! There also wasn't an elevator, but again, no problem :)
The staff at Helvetia were more than accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed. The room was big enough and very clean. The hotel is right around the corner from the Tower. Loads of restaurants nearby.
Very close to the tower and town centre, good wifi
Bathroom facilities just adequate - shower difficult to use with aberrant spray
Staff talking and serving best n nicely. We are happy receptionist Miss. Mariana talked nicely with us.
Wi-Fi was not working properly. Many times we complained. Didn't listen to me.
Excellent value and amazing location.
This is such an awesome place for the price we pay. Simple, non fancy place. Our flight arrived late and we reached by 11:30 pm, but still received a welcome. Clean and hygienic. Leaning tower is just 5 mins walk from here. Overall, everything positive.
Availability of breakfast can make it best budget place to stay in Pisa :)
We loved the location, staff, facilities at Hotel Helvetia. We arrived very late - after 10:30pm and found a local restaurant serving fab pizza and hugs of local wine. After dinner we strolled to the tower and have unique memories of seeing it in moonlight minus the hoards of tourists. Gorgeous. We returned to climb the tower the next morning but we're so eased we saw it by night too. Literally 5 mins from the hotel.
Location was great Friendly staff
Beds a bit hard but that's in almost every midclass accommodation.
Location very near to Tower, very friendly and help full staff. There are restaurants near by and there is a super market very close by. We needed an Indian restaurants which was also in 10 mins walk able distance
There is no lift
Friendliness of the owners, recommendations they provided for local restaurants, touristic routes to take, places to see. The localisation of the hotel is superb. The hotel is clean, it provides its guests with possibility of getting coffee, water and other drinks from a machine.
Tourists need to know the hotel doesn't have a lift. We knew that, so for us it wasn't a problem. Falling asleep might be a problem for those who don't use ear plugs. The corridors are tiled and are therefore loud, pulling of suitcases and loud conversations outside the rooms by some guests disturb at night. But after all it shows the lack of thoughtfulness and courtesy on the part of some guests, rather than poor standard of the hotel. The hotel is a well run family enterprise with the advantages and disadvantages of being in the center of a medieval town, on top of that, in a historic building. Guess what: in middle ages soundproofing and elevators were not a standard.
Exceptionally close to the Tower - just around the corner. Very clean.
