Location & host
Close to the train station.
Noise as our room is above a busy street with street car, bus, tram et al. Whole floor shares one bathroom. Breakfast selection is also vary limited.
The location was great. Close to the station. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also good
The room had no outside view and one could clearly hear people talking in the room next door.
Location, friendly and helpful staff, very good price, comfort was good enough.
Although the rooms are worn and old, you should be happy to know that there is still a possibility to stay for a cheap price in an expensive city.
The location is excellent
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The customer service was excellent.
nice and friendly folks in the reception
The staff were helpful while my first arrival, breakfast, and departure. They were pleasant and nice. The bed was comfortable. The location was good and it was close to the train station. The room was spacious and with its own washroom. I did not mind staircase as it was a nice one. The window allowed fresh air. Thank you for the city map.
The shower place was only in front of the WC with a curtain (no cubicle). It would be better if the breakfast would serve some meat(ham), etc.
very soon from station and good service .
Friendly staffs with good guidance of nearby attraction. Good location. Normal Breakfast with bread, cornflakes, cheese slice, ham, jam.
Friendly helpful staff, good central location , good value for money.
Great location Helpful staff Value for money
Really small bathroom. No lift- though we knew that before hand, and the hotel obliged by giving us a room on the lower floors since we had heavy bags.
near to train station and leather market. just cross the street.
No bathroom in the room
is big problem where to park a car, you can leave it in the la stazione garages for 40e/day with a discount as a guest to 28e/day -the room is very poor -only one shared toilettes for whole floor -for sleeping enough but for this price im used to get more
We were in Florence for an atrociously brief amount of time, and chose this hotel because it was across the SMN station and near the major landmarks. It helped us make the most of our trip.
The bathroom wasn't unclean, just a little weird. The room was massive, with high ceiling, but the room still felt cramped. Having the front desk control your air conditioner was also a bit weird. The price didn't feel fair for the quality of the place, you really are paying for easy access to the Santa Maria Novella train station.
The hotel is situated right near the Santa Maria Novella railway station, where the Pisa airport coaches also drop off. I was given a warm welcome and the staff were kind and helpful throughout my visit. When looking for accommodation I was surprised how expensive Florence hotels were, and this particular hotel offered good value for money by Florence standards, especially considering the location. I hadn't anticipated that, despite the shared bathroom, there would be a sink and bidet in the room itself. Breakfast was good -- not a vast range of options, but what was available was nice.
I was in room 1, which was next to the reception area, and so it was a bit noisy until all the guests had arrived. Also the shared bathroom was shared by quite a number of guests, so I was concerned about whether access would be delayed in the morning. (As it happens, it wasn't.) If I were staying here again (which I would be happy to do), I would probably choose one of their rooms with a private bathroom, and pay a little extra.
Close to laundromat, chemist and eateries. Staff very friendly and helpful about where to go and where can be expensive!
Next to train station, so great location. breakfast just normal only, but acceptable.
the hotel is quite old already, so that the room provided.
Management were fantastic, nothing was a problem. The location is great. Next to the main station but zero noise. We walked to everything without trouble.
Ensuite was very small but very clean and the decor was virtually non existent. The breakfast area was cramped.
Good location - just a couple of minutes' walk from the station. Very helpful staff. Great wifi.
Room at the front of the hotel overlooking the main road so was very noisy at night.
The woman that runs it was ridiculously nice and helpful. Shower light is cool and changes color. Just thought I'd mention.
Breakfast Bathroom Condition of bedroom especially none closing windows Very shabby and in need of work
This is the perfect place to stay for young couples who don't want to dish out a lot of money for a perfectly good hotel room especially if you're just going to shower & sleep. Staff is exceptionally nice and informative.
Only downfall is that they did not come clean the rooms during our stay - not that it was a huge deal but it would've been nice to have fresh towels after a few days.
