Our stay at Hotel Hermitage surprised us. We were not sure of what to expect - but this hotel blew us away, and it's competition, out of the water. Seriously - THE best hotel deal in Italy. Nowhere else can you find such a nice hotel with such a superb location. It impressed us. Room was a good size for money spent, very clean, hotel employees were gracious and helpful, breakfast was just fine - location is fantastic. All in all - a wonderful stay in a wonderful hotel. Very, very, highly recommended.

Great location, nice decoration of guest room and public ares. Worst breakfast we had ever have, which does not include basic elements like vegetables and eggs. This is unacceptable. In addition, the mobility is problematic. There is a tiny elevator (3 people max) BUT one needs to climb many stairs to get that elevator! There is no one normal size mirror in the room.

The hotel is so charming. The location is absolutely the best! The staff is well organized, friendly and helpful. I loved the living room. As a solo traveler it was a nice space to sit, read and enjoy the beautiful view and the beautiful room. The size of the room was adequate and it was decorated tastefully. The stairs leading to the elevator were difficult for dealing with a very heavy suitcase with a broken wheel!

The location was great, easy to walk to all the sights. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good value for the money. Anyone with issues walking up stairs might have a problem, you have to go up one flight before you get to the lift.

Excellent value for money. Friendly staff. Excellent location with easy access on foot to major attractions around town and to the station. The room we stayed at was clean, comfortable, very nice view of the bridge.

Great location - close to Pont Vecchio, and the museums. Very nice roof top card for relaxation, having a drink, and enjoying the city views. Excellent breakfast Maybe a problem for mobility challenged guests as reception is on the 5th floor and the elevator does not come down to the ground floor

The roof top was great. The staff was great. Breakfast was very good. The room seemed dark. The bathroom tub when I filled for a jacuzzi and turned on some black crap came out.

The location for a tourist visiting the city centre of florence is perfect. The view from the room overlooking the River Arno only adds to the charm of this hotel. The added plus of the lovely breakfast room and rooftop garden area makes this my favorite hotel in florence The bathroom and bedroom is very small but not by european standards

The location was ideal, close to everything we wanted to see, plus bars and restaurants. The room was large and the breakfast room and rooftop terrace were wonderful. Overall a very pleasant stay for a 3-star hotel. There was a slight problem with the airconditioning but only on our last night. The front office staff were a little cool but otherwise polite and professional.

This hotel is so nice.Location is super. Rooms really nicely decorated and we have had the pleasure to have the view straight to ponte veccio in our 2 times visit to Florence and Hotel Hermitage. Breakfast room and breakfast itself really nice for its price. We would rate this hotel more to be **** than ***. Looking forward for next time there!

Hotel is in a great location and the staff are very helpful. Nicelybset up and roof deck is amazing One flight of steps from street level to elevator. Staff will help with bags but that was not obvious on arrival
