Hotel Hesperia  

It was perfec~ great location, cosy room, nice breakfast, reasonable price, especially friendly staff!!! If I have a chance to visit venice again, I'll definitely choose this hotel again^^

A great economic double room for a great price! Great staff and breakfast was included. Added to the charm of Venice.

While not the best location, certainly a location you might enjoy for just being a bit off the typical Venice path.

The most competitive price in Venice for such level of the hotel. Breakfat is included. 10 minutes walk from the main parking and bus station at Pizzale Roma. Vaporetto station right on the opposite side of the canal and 3 minutes walk to one of the Grand Canal station for Vaporetto. The possibility to by Vaporetto tickets at the reception

Stone floor and no carpeets on it. Poor blanket for non frigostabile people. Dusty blinds.

Location was convenient for the airport water-bus, which stops at the Guglie stop on the Canal de Cannaregio, and also for other water bus services not using the Grand Canal. Also only 10 mins walk from the station and water-bus stops for the Grand Canal,.and the bus station.Restaurants and shops in easy reach. The hotel was quiet at night, breakfast was good enough, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

More about Venice than the hotel- I was unprepared for mosquitoes in December- take your usual protection equipment with you even in winter.

We chose to stay at Hotel Hesperia because of the location. We wanted to be near the train station so we didn't have to drag our luggage too far in the dark as Venice streets can be very confusing. The staff were very friendly & recommended places for us to eat at & visit. We were really happy with our room & would recommend this hotel to our friends and family. Its not too far to walk anywhere in Venice so you can easily walk to San Marco & the Rialto Bridge from the Hotel or take the ferry which is also close by.

the lack of a bell service to assist with bags up some steep stairs the fact that a bathroom was located outside of the room in the hall we literally got bitten alive from mosquitoes while in Venice & in the room which made for an uncomfortable stay the last night...the hot weather & time of year in Sept had a lot to do with this obviously

Staffs were nice and breakfast were quite impressive as they serve fresh fruits cuts

Good location near the railway station and public boat stop. Quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for the money. (Everything is expensive at Venice.)

I bought 10 hours of wi fi at a high price and I could never connect my Blackberry because the wi - fi was misconfigured, so I had to use the hotel's computer at the reception

Location - it was away from the "hustle and bustle" but only a 5-10 minute walk from the train stations. Excellent local restaurants within 2-3 minute walk.Excellent staff, family run hotel.

The receptionist was realy helpfull and friendly. She helped us out of her own to find information about our Embassy when we lost our passports. Our canal view room was large and very clean. We enjoyed our stay there. It is close to the station and close to the vaporetto pick up points. Breakfast was also adequite.

Breakfast is small but good. The location is a short walk from the station. The staff are friendly. The TV has a lot of channels. The AC worked ok but not excellent.

This place is in serious need of an upgrade. The walls are paper thin so you hear what everyone is saying and doing. There is an awful smell coming from the bathroom. Everything is quite old. There is no elevator and they charge for Wi-Fi. Our bathroom was private but down the hall.
