My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. Room was good size and clean. Overlooking the canal across from a canal side restaurant with appropriate dinner music. The 400 year old building has no lift (elevator). |

the hotel was close to the train station and bus stations and due to the size of venice, pretty close to anything and everything. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly - the room was nice with a view of the canal. The private bathroom was not in our room, but a separate room a few doors down the corridor - it did have a separate key for only our use though and i think this was the only room in the hotel like this (it would have been nice to know up front). |

The hotel staff - a father and daughter - were very helpful during our stay and gave us good advice. They speak many languages. We were given a choice of 2 rooms and chose to have a canal view with a private bathroom outside of our room versus street view with private bathroom in the room. I thought that it was closer to the train station and the walk felt long in the extreme heat and humidity. |

Beautiful Murano glass chandeliers and lamps in the SUPERIOR DOUBLE room. Nice tile floors and very spacious and clean bathroom. Our room was very quiet and comfortable. Incredibly helpful staff. Close to the train station. Hotel made a mistake on the rate in our favor and yet still honored it without question or hassle. No lift. |

Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal (verkehrsgünstig, doch verhältnismässig ruhig im Stadtteil Cannaregio, der nicht allein durch den Tourismus geprägt ist). Die Bedingungen im Hotel (Personal, Zimmer, Frühstück) sind bedeutend besser, als die Einstufung (Zwei-Sterne-Haus) erwarten lässt. |
