On the right bank of Rome's Tiber River, Hotel Sant'Angelo is in a historic building, just half a mile from the Spanish Steps. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with private bathrooms.
Score from 1455 reviews Very good
Alexandra is a 3-star superior hotel on Rome's exclusive Via Veneto. Located just 165 ft from Barberini Metro Station, it offers a gazebo restaurant out on this famous street.
Score from 743 reviews Very good
Hotel Regno is 650 ft from the Trevi Fountain. Toss a coin in the fountain if you want to come back to Rome, most likely to this superior 3-star hotel.
Score from 918 reviews Very good
Hotel Serena is set within walking distance of Termini Train Station, which is just around the corner. The area offers many typical restaurants.

Very clean rooms, great location for seeing Rome's sites, and super friendly and helpful staff which made us feel very welcome.
No complaints considering the price.
Friendly staff, good location
Noisy air conditioner in room, ie free standing air con, very basic breakfast, dated decor
Very kindly and helpfull staff !!! Fine breakfasts (but lack of vegetables :-(
very poor and uncomfortable electric lighting in the room small elevator cabin
Walking distance to everything we wanted to see, my grandson and myself had a ball.
At my age the stairs and hills were a bit of an effort, but still managed to do it all. No complaints about the hotel!
we loved the room which was big and had old style fernitures not far from piassa venezia
i think they should add vegitable to the breakfast we didnt appreciate that they didnt give us a late check out
Central location, breakfast 7.00 to 10.00 with good selection, help with luggage and shown to room, helpful reception re maps and buses and taxis, comfortable beds, air conditioning could be adjusted to needs, the quaint lift was an experience.
bathroom floor flooded when showering and shower head would not stay in position, no free wifi and wifi only available in reception/bar area.

Rafael is the one of the best peapole in customer service.. he is very helpfull , cool, funny and very proffisional , helped us a lot in where to go and how to reach and where to get stuff... amaizing person
very friendly staff, very good location
Walking distance to major attractions.
Wifi was not free and not always connecting. But from the reception area, yes.
Extremely friendly staff, sorted out a last minute change of guests quickly as we needed an extra bed and provided us with the suite instead of standard room we paid for. Shining bathroom, antique furnitures and a fresco on the ceiling travelled you in time...excellent location and great value for money. there's a tourism tax fee you need to pay before check out though like in every hotel of Italy. Loved the freshly baked croissant for breakfast, bread...a quiet place with personality in the heart of Rome you shouldn't miss staying in.
Most sites were within walking distance. The Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Their car and driver was a nice amenity. While you did pay for the service, it was a beautiful car and the driver was careful. It only cost a couple Euro more than a regular cab.
The air conditioning was not great. It worked - but did not make the room very cool and seemed to turn itself off randomly. Everything else at the hotel was great. Outside of the hotel, the Trevi Fountain is being repaired and is drained and covered. Disappointing - but obviously not the hotel's fault.
Unfriendly service woman at breakfast Strange smell in the floor Room to street was loud

Could do with a kettle in the room
