Hilton Rome Airport    

Excelent location by a short walk from the airport. All the services and confort normal in a 4 stars airport hotel.

I liked the fast check in.

I enjoyed the free shuttle back and forth to the center of Rome. The location from the airport is a short walk and very convienient.

Internet is extremely expensive.

the staff were great, room was great, ttok the kids for a swim in pool, bed comfortable, breakfast was good, location excellent for coming or going from the airport only a 5-10 minute walk.

we were on the second floor and in the lobby and hall ways it wreaked of cigarette smoke to the point where it was uncomfortable just walking from the lift to our room, I dont know any hotel these days that still allows smoking inside their hotels!! Fiumicino airport was the dirtiest airport also in all our travels and we have been to 10 internation airports this trip alone, their toilets were filthy!

Shuttle service to/from city every 2 hours

The staff and service were excellent, friendly and so helpful. Location fit our stay perfect.

We stayed at Fiumicino because we had an early flight the next morning back to the US and it is conveniently located next to the airport.

The WORST situation was being bumped off of a complimentary return bus from downtown Rome. We were left stranded in Rome at 11 pm, and had to find an ATM to get cash to return to Hilton via taxi for Euro 50! We arrived to get the return bus 15 mins before its departure, and it was already full. When we were told of the downtown Rome shuttle bus, no one said "first come, first served" for the return, so we assumed Hilton was able to gauge the returnees. After returning to the hotel via cab, we were advised of this policy. This is unacceptable and left us with a very bad feeling about Hilton. Also, we could not access wifi from the room without paying Euro 20 - but if we went to the lobby, internet could be accessed free. This is the only hotel that we stayed at during 10 days that did not provide complimentary wifi access in the room. The in-room bar refrig is kept locked so we couldn't view its contents without leaving a credit card - even though we had prepaid our hotel bill. These "little things" just gave Hilton a "cheap" feeling and made us feel less than welcome as Honors members. We doubt if we will return to Hilton Fiumicino again. I await your response. At the least, I believe I should be compensated for the return taxi (I have the receipt) or something similar.

Closest to the Rome Fiumicino airport, and best convenient for transit. Facilities and food were good.

A little far from the airport on foot with baggages. There is no shuttle bus service between airport and hotel. Indication from the airport to the hotel is not sufficient, and it is difficult for the first comer to reach the hotel without asking the way to plural airport staff. Travelers will need chieper lodgings here.

Good location since it was next to the airport and we were leaving the next day to return to the US

There were ants in the room and on the bedding. At least most of them were dead!

Good location to Fumicino airport with free shuttle into Rome during the day. Can walk from station to hotel & then to airport on departure covered walkway. Nice Lobby waiting are with iced lemon water on tap. Good pool available for guests.

Arrived tired to room but no power..waited 15 mins for maintenance to colllect jug (apparently often trips the power) advising would turn power on from main. Only lights came back ..again called desk for maintenance who then reconnected TV & forced open fridge for mini bar jammed with power failure. All this took an extra 1.5 hrs when tired but no other room available..the jug never returned.

No place but bar to buy a bottle of water unless you can afford to spend four euros.I Walked back to airport, bought dinner, wine and water.

Right at the airport and friendly staff that helped with taxis and with a shuttle to the airport.

The location was terrific, just a walk through the tunnel to the airport, which made it very easy to walk to the terminal for our early morning flight. The staff was very accomodating as we wanted to change our room, and they did so without any fuss. The very best part was that they offered a bus service into Rome, it ran every two hours out and back on the odd hour. Since we got there in the afternoon, we had a good five hours (and could have had more if we had stayed longer as the last bus left Rome at 2300) in the city and we had a great time, and it was complimentary! A great location for airport departures.

The room had a quite heavy duvet, and it was hard to sleep under, plus there was not blanket option, which impaired our sleep some and we didn't get the rest we needed for the long flight home.

The ladies at the front counter were very imformative

waiting for the person to release my luggage from storage, I had to downstairs and pick them up!

After walking Italy for 11 weeks it was great to have the airport so close for a early am flight. The food was fantastic, wake up service etc.

A bit pricey but for the convenience it made it worth it.

Location, friendly staff, great breakfast. None of the terms in question 3 fit my description.

Having to pay -- and pay a lot! -- for wi-fi. Aside from breakfast, the restaurant food was a disappointment.

Excellent location for an early morning departure. Great location for visiting Ostia Antica- 25 Euro cab ride each way.

The twin beds are not great for tall people.

The staff in the lobby were friendly and very helpful with the computers.

The bar staff took way too long to ask us what we wanted (15 minutes the first time) and were not very friendly. We ordered a pizza and salad to share in the bar. The pizza came uncut so I had to use a knife and fork to cut it myself. It was advertised as a tomato, cheese and basil pizza. There was one basil leaf in the middle! I asked the waitress for another plate, she said okay, but it never came. I resent having to pay 4 E for a couple of glasses of bottled water.

Location. Location. Location. Can't beat it as a place to stay the night before an early morning flight out of Rome.

Restaurant had mediocre food. Felt like I was in America more than Italy.

Worst hotel ever. Executive Lounge is a joke - evening snacks = 3 nuts. Was supposed to be open at 6:30 for breakfast. When I left at 7:00 it was still dark. Long line ups at check in and check out. If I don't have to, I will not stay at this hotel ever. Overpriced.
