I loved everything especially the location.
Good location (near the Vatican city, 10 minutes with the bus to the centre of Rome) Friendly staff
The room smelled bad. The breakfast was at a cafe nearby and included only a croisant and a coffe
Location is excelent
Quite place. Nice and small.
Great location on road with lots of nice restaurants and just around corner from markets. Clean, friendly and safe.
The location is excellent if you want to walk to Vatican City , also public transportation with only two blocks from the apartment … They were calling us 24 hours in advance to confirm hour arrival and to make sure that everything was in order … The apartment was very comfortable and most important in perfect conditions …
Nothing wrong with it …
What can i say, this was the best vacantion in Rome, the location, the owners, the quality of the room, everything was great. 10 + from me. Thank you Manuela and Jonathan :)
The place is just a 5mins walk to St. Peter's Basilica. That is why we were able to visit it everyday during our 3 day's stay. Jonathan and Manuela (the owner of the unit) gave us a warm welcome. It feels like home. The room is clean, breakfast is good. Will surely recommend to friends and relatives. We'll surely be back soon!
We had a great stay! The location was perfect! Really nice B&B!
Shower leaks Switches poor quality Lift , door locks don't work properly
- Closeness to the Vatican - Restaurants nearby
- Limited breakfast (which is included with the room) at a cafe nearby
The hotel is small but the service was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location of the hotel.
My daughters (13 and 22) and I began our European holiday in Rome at Holiday a San Pietro - and that made it the perfect start. Or let me say Manuela, the owner, made it the perfect start. I would go to the extent of saying that even if you can afford a more luxurious hotel or B&B, stay here because of her! I had been in email touch with her before traveling and had found her efficient then too. She organized a taxi pick up for us from the airport to her B&B (55 euros). Though she isn't on site 24x7, she was there to welcome us warmly and went way beyond the call of duty to guide us on how to get around Rome - buses, routes, maps etc, which was immensely helpful. She helped book the Vatican City tour (the only tour you actually need to take - see the rest of Rome on your own, the best way to do it). When there was a minor water leak problem (from the refrigerator), she responded immediately, getting down to mopping up herself and doing some quick-fixing. The location of the B&B is perfect - opposite the Vatican. It is set back a bit so you don't catch the noise of any traffic etc on the main road, which is just a minute away and has a row of shops and cafes. We felt comfortable walking around there even late at night. It is convenient to take a bus to the other attractions (Colosseum, Trevi Fountain etc) from here - but, if you are game, you can also walk all the way and back, as we did, and really see this beautiful city. I found it convenient to have a service (not self service) laundry just in front of the B&B - I gave them my pile of clothes in the morning and got them back by the evening. The room was very small (we were in a triple occupancy apartment) but cosy. Very small bathroom too - but served its purpose well. No view - but then we weren't spending much time in the room so that wasn't an issue. If I still need to say it - yes, I would recommend Holiday a San Pietro strongly and warmly.
We had opted for the breakfast-inclusive rate. The breakfast was disappointing - we got coupons for a café nearby for croissants (one each) and coffee (pay extra if you want any other beverage). Though the croissants were good, we Indians are used to more substantive breakfasts! Perhaps we should have taken the other (exclusive of breakfast) option because we saw Manuela serving much more tempting fare in her office-reception room to other guests. Seemed well worth the extra price we would have had to pay.
Thank you Manuela :))))))
Excellent attention. Perfect location to get into the Vatican City.
It`s not the hotel`s fault, but buses didn't work well to get to it.
Absolutely a beautiful hotel; the parking was easy and the location was a 3 minute walk from the Vatican
It is the location that i like most. It has an easy access to almost everything .
The breakfast is not good, we're not allowd to seat on the table unless you paid for it. We're expecting the good breakfast not the snacks.
The location, 10 mins walking to San Pietro; free parking places near the building. Friendly owners.
The room was too small (not suitable for 3 guests), our towels were not replaced for 3 days. Actually the B&B is one big apartment with 5 rooms and a common room for breakfast, no real reception.
I stayed at HSP with 2 other friends for 6 days and we had an absolutely fabulous time. Both Jonathan and his wife Manuela were excellent hosts and we felt very welcomed. The breakfast was pretty good and they had a good variety. I was really impressed with the cleaniness and coziness of the rooms. The Wifi never let us down and as soon as we walked into the building, it connected on our phones. You get more than what you pay for in this deal...especially for that price.
The location is a bit removed from downtown Rome. However it is 10 mins walking to the Vatican. We did not mind the location too much.
Ideal place to stay if the intention is to visit the Vatican, it's 10 minutes far from San Pietro. The apartment has 5/6 rooms that had been refurbished. The room has enough space for 2 persons. Its perfectly clean and well kept. If the idea is visiting the Vatican this is the perfect place to stay.
Excellent location - near to St Peters and short bus ride to Colosseum. Very helpful staff and beautifully presented, clean rooms.
Difficult to find but staff were incredibly helpful in giving directions over the phone. Don't let this put you off.
Our host was helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet.
Holiday A San Pietro is a small bed and breakfast with comfortable rooms. Everything you need is available in the room. Closet, fridge, fully equiped bath room. The room is tidy and cleaned every day. The host is available at breakfast with a lot of tips for discovering Rome. They are very friendly.
The B&B doesn't have a 24h desk. When arriving, the host wasn't there. After calling, he arrived 10 minutes later. The B&B is situated at an appartment block, when arriving, we weren't sure if we were at the right place. Inside everything is perfect and very clean.
