The Holiday Inn Modena hotel is located in green and relaxing surroundings, close to the Secchia River natural area and bicycle route. It’s ideal for business and leisure travellers alike.

Take a tour of Modena, visiting the medieval and Romanic city, capital of the Estensi dukedom. Let yourself be charmed by the beautiful Duomo, the Garlandina Tower, the attractive Piazza Grande and Palazzo Ducale. The hotel is the ideal starting point for experiencing the gastronomic traditions of the area and for visiting the famous Acetaie, where Modena balsamic vinegar is produced. If you’re on a business trip, the facility is nonetheless conveniently located: 6 km from the city centre and railway station, 1 km from Modena Trade Fair Centre and Modena Nord A1 motorway tollbooth. Room was clean and the windows could be opened.

The breakfast was terrible; one morning there was a dead fly on the cheese and another morning a bug crawled out from the ham. Also there were flies throughout the dining area.

Once inside the hotel the rooms are clean and fine for business purposes.

A little bit too far away from the town center. The hotel looks a little like a housing block from the outside.

Trés bonne cuisine.

Difficulté de rejoindre l'hotel à partir de la gare de Modene par les transport en commun. Un arrêt à 20 minutes de marche et prix des taxis élévé et jamais le même. Itinéraire proposé par votre site pour rejoindre l'hotel inaccessible.

Geen bewaakte parkeer mogelijkheid, speciaal verzoek was een garage. Het ontbijt was een hotel onwaardig, gewoon slecht.

Het hotel is gemakkelijk bereikbaar en is prettig gesitueerd ten opzichte van autowegen, zodat nauwelijks tijdverlies optreedt door de onderbreking van de reis. Positief is natuurlijk ook dat de bezoeker min of meer zeker van de kwaliteit waarvoor de Holiday Inn-formule nu eenmaal staat.

De prijs-/prestatieverhouding staat onder druk; het diner was redelijk, maar van het ontbijt was slechts de prijs op Holiday Inn-niveau. Verder bleek slechts één persoon de Engelse taal machtig te zijn; ook Duits verstond of sprak men niet.
