We have a child and liked having a pool and the convenience to visit the center of Rome. We also liked being near to the airport for our departure. We have a rental car and the hotel offers parking and shuttle service to the center of Rome. This is our 3rd stay at this hotel. Internet and WiFi access should be free. |

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for our last night in Italy, we chose this hotel for it’s convenient route to the airport, also the pool and bar area looked good on the website for a last day chill out. The pool area was very average, the bar area was not inviting at all. I asked for a taxi to be booked for the following morning to the airport, the receptionist advised that the charge would be 50 euro!, after questioning the price twice to be sure we had communicated correctly, I was advised that the airport was at least 25mins away and it would cost 50 Euro; the next morning a driver was on time with his Mercedes ready to take us 10mins to the airport. If you are happy with a more standard vehicle, be sure to ask for a metered taxi to avoid this unnecessary expenditure. |

The clean and attractive pool was excellent as was the shuttle service into Rome city centre. Breakfast was good too. The restaurant was very expensive. A later return shuttle service would have been appreciated. ( latest reurn trip at 9.15 meant that evening meals were a bit hurried) |

We decided to stay here because very few Hotels have parking. The reviews were accurate and the room was excellent, clean and modern. Another plus was the free shuttle to the city which we used at every opportunity. Having stayed in many Italian Hotels, the breakfast was by far the best for variety for hot and cold foods. The fresh orange juice machine was great! Owing to its distance from the City - if you missed the last bus (9.15pm) the walk would be too long and costly by taxi. However, the alternative is the metro from the city then a bus which stops outside the hotel. These run every 5 mins and 15 mins respectively. It was a shame that the hot drinks at breakfast was by a machine and not freshly brewed - but these are only minor criticisms from an otherwise perfect Hotel. |

A great area to spend time and be able to walk to many of the ancient/historic sights all over Rome. We love Trastevere and the numerous places to eat casually as well as fine dining. This area of Rome takes on a new life in the evening which is most enjoyable. |

Hotel advertised that there was free shuttle service to the airport, however, the cab called by the hotel to drive us to the airport not only charged us, but was considerably more than the cost from the airport to the hotel when we arrived. |

The room service was OK as I didn't feel like waiting until 7.30pm for dinner in the restaurant after a very long travelling day. Yes - I could hear the conversations of the people in the next room through the walls. Very poor sound barrier and I was unable to sleep. |

The hotel provided good breakfast with fresh fruits and hotel stuff was very friendly. It smelled musty in the room and did not have enough room for a family even if we have told the hotel reception to stay with 4 persons. |
