One of the closest hotels to the Fortezza da Basso conference center, this 19th century villa with a calm garden is also less than half a mile from the train station. Set in a residential area, the hotel has elegant classically designed public areas and contemporary-style bedrooms. The buffet breakfast is served in a beautiful hall and there is also an attractive reading room where you can unwind. With the highway around central Florence very close by and payable on-site parking available, access by car is easy. In addition, just 55 yards from the hotel you can catch a bus to Piazza Duomo, in the heart of the city. However, if you fancy a walk, you can also wander along the fascinating streets of the city and reach the cathedral in about 20 minutes. I liked the staff, the position of the hotel- it is near the "Fortezza da Basso" where it was the event I have participated in Florence, it is near the center of Florence but in a quiet place.I Stayed in a large room, as I requested, with a terrace.I Would come here with my family. Breakfast is ok. I would prefer eggs in breakfast.

The hotel is in a very good location.We travelled all the city on foot.The staff were very polite and helpful.The lady cleaned the room everyday and the receptionists helped us very much. Strongly recommend it Strongly recommended

The hotel is very clean , good location very close to a very nice park , 10 mins walk from train Station and center so we walked everywhere, very good value for money , lovely Florence The breakfast needs a bit more bakeries , the girl in the front desk is very rude .. Other than this nothing..

A very good hotel, very clean, with very large rooms for a hotel in its range. Parking is also available. For 12 € they let us keep the car inside the parking lot until late evening after we checked out. The noise insulation is very good, the double bed is huge. air conditioning fabulous. It is 15-20 min. walk from the center. A pleasant walk though. A little overpriced, parking cannot accomodate more than 15 cars at the most. There is a possibility of scratching the car. The breakfast is poor, Italian type, there are no eggs, only one type of ham and cheese, at least they serve very good espresso.

Beaucoup de classe et pour un prix abordable. Wifi facturé à la minute. Le wifi n'était pas gratuit. Le petit déjeuner n'inclut qu'un seul café. Croissants secs.

Pulizia assoluta in camera.Molto carina l'entrata dell'hotel.Bello il palazzo in stile 800.Molto varia e sempre fresca la colazione.Credo di tornare e anche molto volentieri. L'unica cosa di cui mi posso lamentare è la scarsità della luce sia in camera che in bagno...ma comunque è un aspetto trascurabile visto il resto che è quasi perfetto.Un pò più di luci non guasterebbe.

Grande chambre, calme (sur l'arrière). Personnel accueillant et disponible. Parking privé à un prix correct appréciable. Très bon confort. Petit déjeuner peu varié et produits "industriels" (jambon, fromage..)

La posizione abbastanza vicina al centro, il parcheggio dell'hotel a prezzi contenuti. Il riscaldamento troppo rumoroso e il calorifero in bagno non scaldava a sufficenza.

Accueil sympathique - Très jolie chambre - Calme de l'établissement - Pt déj. Copieux et varié - Pas de problème de stationnement (nous n'avons pas utilisé le parking (qui ne coûtait pourtant que 12 euros par jour) - Centre ville à 10 mm de marche fort agréable (chaque coin de rue est un émerveillement ...) Pas très important mais uniquement chaînes tv en Italien ...

L’hotel si trova in un’ottima posizione per raggiungere la Fortezza da Basso sede di tutte le manifestazioni fieristiche fiorentine, tra cui Pitti Immagine. Ero solita soggiornare in questo hotel proprio in occasione di Pitti ma, in questo caso, abbiamo scelto questa struttura per un week end in Firenze . Il centro è infatti molto vicino, il Duomo si raggiunge in circa 15 minuti a piedi . Sono comunque disponibili mezzi pubblici in una fermata molto vicina all’hotel. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, le stanze sono pulite, ampie ed accoglienti. La colazione continentale è a self service , tranne per le bevande calde che vengono servite al tavolo. La disponibilità di un parcheggio interno a pagamento è secondo me un plus in una città in cui molti hotel non ne dispongono.

15 minutes walk to Santa Maria Novel railway station; the 20 to 30 minutes walk to downtown is also quite pleasant; very quiet Very clean. Facility is good. Comfortable. Breakfast is ok and basic. Three star standard in Italy. Wifi is not for free. We paid 10 euros for four day use.
