Nothing- this hotel ruined our experience of Florence and has given us nothing but bad memories of the city. Where do we start? First the staff denied receiving a reservation from booking.com and it was only when I produced a confiation printout that they started preparing a room for us- very stressful after a long journey to get there. The "superior" double room looked into an alley way & was tiny; only thing that was superior about it was white linen. The towels provided could be best described as something you'd dry your dishes with; when asked for proper towels was told there were none but when we snuck up to the 4th floor, the maid had left the linen closet open so we helped ourselves to fluffy white towels clearly meant for guests staying in the suites. Although soft drinks/water from the mini bar were supposed to be replenished daily, this was done only once, same with soaps etc. At breakfast it took over 30 minutes & asking the staff twice before we could get a coffee. The final straw came when we asked about the roof top jacuzzi complete with views as advertised on booking.com; was told we needed to reserve a time and pay an additional €200 to use it.

This was our first time staying at Hotel Home. The hotel is very pretty, comfortable, and was conveniently located for our purposes. The breakfast was very good, and well-presented. I particularly liked the fresh, elegant design of the hotel, and the comfortable bed with crisp white linens. I also appreciated the thoughtful afternoon snacks that were provided. It is difficult to find a moderately priced hotel in Florence that offers as much -- however, we benefited from a special price offer on one of the hotel websites. We visit Florence often, and I would like to stay at the hotel again on our next visit. (1) The mini-bar in the room only contained water and a soft drink. (2) I would have appreciated some more toiletries in the bathroom; but I noted that the bath gel that was provided was a nice quality. (3) The hotel staff were professional and polite. However, if I had been visiting Firenze for the first time as a tourist, I believe I would have liked to have seen more evidence of the famous Italian charm and warmth.

Great design, modern, cool look. Very good service. Breakfast area got congested at peak times of the morning & had to briefly wait for a table since the area is quite small. Communal tables for breakfast is not to everyone's taste. Bathroom is quite small. Thin walls

I liked the food table at the reception, I have never seen such a thing and it was really nice. The rooms are beutiful. I didn't like the bathroom, the shower which the water go out of it and spread all over. Breakfast was not good, not the eggs and not anything cooked.

I immediately fell in love with the hotel when I saw the photos on the internet and it did not disappoint when I went there! Hotel Home is a very nicely designed boutique hotel! Staff there were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous, lots of variety! They have a pool table and even have bicycles to lend out for hotel guests at no cost! Free wifi in rooms! Although the hotel did not receive our booking confirmation, but luckily they were still able to give us a room and we were upgraded to a larger room too! The bath towels are not really towels, they were thin....kinda like bed sheets! And the hotel is pretty far some the Florence train terminal, it's not within walking distance; approx 10euro taxi from the hotel to the terminal. You can still walk to some major attractions, it's about 15-20mins walk.

Beautiful hotel. The design, upkeep and quiet make this a very comfortable place to stay. The bed is comfortable, with great pillows - 4 pillows and 2 of them down - very rare in Europe. Breakfast is great, plenty of offerings from healthy to indulgent, including fresh fruit. The staff is very nice. Everything is kept clean. There is a tiny gym and the equipment is new. It would be even better if they had water and towels down there, and if they could somehow find a space to put in a set of dumbbells, it would be really great. The location is not so great, about 20 minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio, but I guess that's the trade off for such a nice place to stay at a reasonable price.

The design was very nice and sober. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The towels in the bathroom were of very high quality fiber. The location : 5 minutes from Santa Croce, 10 minutes from Duomo by foot. The minibar has only two bottles of water. Don't get up late from breakfast on Saturdays, or you won't have any place left to eat in the restaurant, very nice design but not very big.

The interior design of public spaces and room is just astonishing! It's a pleasure just to stay inside of hotel, relax, enjoy the looks of it, play billiards... The breakfast is good and the staff is professional. Free bike rental is a nice addition. We got a "flash deal" for a very good price for the room; that's why we choose this hotel. Normal prices are very high and a too expensive.

Hip hotel, good breakfast, nice atmosphere, complimentary water and snacks in the lobby. Good location, not on the main touristic street, but quite close to the center. Helpful staff. Rooms are not very big and not perfectly clean, some technical problems

I liked the design. The water in my bathroom was brown, as I am guessing the pipework is rusty. I asked the staff to sort it out twice, but it wasn't done, making my stay less pleasant than it should have been.

Friendly staff..fairly walking distance from duomo. Decent breakfast They should definetely make people aware that this is a 2 building put together where you need to jump and climb stairways on the same floor!..not difficult for healty singles and doubles, but if you book a room with a 6 months old baby indicated in yr reservation; it is not fair from you to expect to lift the baby/carriage/carseat everytime you want to enter to your room. Definetely not a family friendly hotel w small children!..

The whole 'look' of the hotel is beautiful. Minimalist. Modern. Chic. It is what initially attracted me to it and I certainly did not leave visually disappointed. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The breakfast was quite good as well. The staff was quite rude. In fact, very rude. They made a mistake with my booking, denied it, and then failed to apologize for it. And, while fixing the problem, were quite resentful. (I did not dramatize the situation at all so I don't really see what the problem was... And it was in fact their mistake.) The rest of my stay was followed with cold greetings. But, having said that, the hotel is quite good as long as your interaction with the staff remains to a minimum. ...........Also.... The floor is the room was quite dirty.

The hotel is in a good location, at walking distance from all tourist sites. The rooms are clean, fairly recently decorated, and very white. The hotel is quiet, and it is fairly easy to have a late morning in bed. Our room was on the last floor (4th floor) and although it was really quiet, it did not have any window but roof lights. This was great to keep noise out, but felt a little claustrophobic
