located in city centre and able to store baggage until we could check into room
Grotty building, mattresses, room and bathroom were dirty, used sheets lying on a bed, excess furniture stored everywhere. Hostel not signposted so difficult to find and no one answered the bell or the phone. Expensive for what we got and had to pay cash with no receipt.
Location is excellent, and so is the WiFi. Other than that, nothing.
This is just a bunch of apartments/ rooms in an old city building some guy rents out. You are lucky if you find it, or someone to meet you.. (No signs, no reception) The room is in poor condition, and is not at all clean. We also had trouble sleeping, due to some biting and itching caused from some kind of bugs. I do not recommend this place. Pictures from the ad does not look like the actually place either..
Location is really good, but other facilities are really poor.
The flat had a Nice atmosphere
The front door was hard to enter. Seems like the owners are trying to hide This plsce
+ The location of the hostel was very convenient. + other guests were nice
- The shared room consisted of cheap IKEA beds with not matching and old linen cloth. - There were lockers for your valuables, but I felt more comfortable having them with me - The room was quite dirty - Wi-Fi only worked on ONE specific spot - I was told I was lucky being in the room (for 6) with only one guest, because he experienced the room with 6 guests and he told it was too crowded. - The bathroom could not be closed - It felt like anyone could enter the room. - The bathroom was quite filthy, whereas I found a cigarette in the toilet...
ONLY the location. It is about less than 10 min away from Doumo.
There are absolutely no signs outside the place about the hostel! The street where it is located doesn't seem safe and I was left lost and panicky when I arrived. This is the first time I stayed in a dormitory and the experience was not a good one. The main door wouldn't shut, so basically your room is accessible to anyone from inside the building which has the hostel on the 4th floor. The room was not clean, the bathroom (door of which wouldn't properly shut, either) was over-crowded! I do not recommend this place for any female who is travelling alone. The charging point for phone was almost impossible to find. I couldn't get any sleep because the place seemed so suspicious and unsafe. ONLY if you are a party of more than 2 people and you are desperate for a place to crash, you could pick this place. Otherwise, look for something else, even if it would cost you a little more.
The location only
Wifi and location
Very bad organization. There weren't enough keys for all the guests. The person in charge did not know which beds were taken, I was bouncing in many rooms until we found a bed with no belongings on top. I was not asked for ID or my name even. When I asked for a receipt I was told I would get it by email but they didn't even know who I was. When asked to pay I asked how much it was and they didn't know, they were asking me what was the price I had booked for. There was no 24-hour reception, so when wanting to check out (leave the key) the person in charge had to be called several times, after I had been told that the reason for the lack of keys was that other guests "stole" them (probably they had needed to leave and no one was there to receive the key). The rooms had no locks so anyone can enter in every room. I was offered lockers but not a key, so in order to open the locker I had to wait for the person in charge (no fixed schedule) to come back to be able to take my valuables out.Things tend to mysteriously disappear at this hostel... I understand you have to be careful at hostels because you are sharing with strangers, but this was extreme. I needed an urgent place to stay for one night and I thought that this would do because all I needed was a bed, wifi and a nearby metro station, but I would urge anyone to stay away.
Location, and that the manager offer es us to take us to the airport in his car for a relativa low price.
The room, the bed, toilette, shower room everything was dirty. That the room was not prepares for our arrival even that we arrived at night. Room is big but bedroom to small .
Location and price
Everything else. Picture is not the true one of the hostel. Mattresses are stripped. Extra cost for new sheets Guy who runs the place was okay of you don't count the awful state of the hostel of the misrepresentation in the photos.
just location was goodi it is nearly to duomo.
I chosed this hostel because I looked photos and I thought that ok it will be nice but when I came to hostel everthing was different. the room was really really dirty. toilet is really .... I couldn't use toilet all my staying
Except location, there's nothing close to ok.
Almost everything except location.
It is situated very close to Duomo and city center, but it is the first and the last advantage of it.
Beds are everywhere, people smoke almost in your bed, every time different people come in to your common flat (if you book room for 4, it mean you will live in room for 4, but share key doors with other rooms close to yours, so it is absolutely not safety). For this price it is not good place for staying in Milan!
location of hostel is wonderful... there is very close to duomo square, and I think cost of hostel is very cheap.
I paid extra 5 euro for sheet, towel and lock door. There was wifi, but my phone couldnt connect...I paid money for sheet but its not presss!!
This is not a hostel, this is just a guy who rents a flat that was supposed to acomodate no mpre than 4 people and I slept on the sofa!!!
First of all, the staff did not know who we were and which room we haves booked and we did booked for 4 people dormitory however we got to stay at 8 people dormitory(so we paid more than what we had to). Also the place we stayed wasn't supposed to be a room as per pictures on booking.com and the place looked completely different to what I saw and decided on to stay. The kitchen looked neglected for many months and it was dirty and messy. The staff was very rude and seemed unorganised he said 'you have to pay me in cash!' no explanations why we had to pay in cash. Also the bed…. he didn't prepared our bed.. it looked like someone just had left and he brought new sheet but it was all wrinkly and he said they are clean but wasn't get ironed. lol I couldn't sleep at all as the blanket and bed were not clean.. I was itching every where and the matters was sinking certain part so it was very uncomfortable!! Noise kept going on until after midnight even loud screams. I will never go back there and I would not recommend this place at all. I felt like we got ripped off by how much we paid compare to what we got offered. In conclusion, absolutely poor!
Except the location
The location of the hostel is the only positive point (I didn't use the Wi-fi, if I had this would be another). I did happen to meet some lovely people staying at the hostel however, which was a positive aspect.
The hostel is difficult to find and once you enter there are no signs to help you find where you are going. While the bed itself was clean the rest of the hostel was not particularly, the facilities weren't great at all. On top of that it was pretty expensive.
THE HOSTEL WAS NEAR THE DUOMO
IS THE WORST HOSTEL I'VE EVER BEEN. THERE WERE TWO "ROOMS" BUT THEY WERE TOGETHER BECAUSE OF THE DOORS WERE BROKEN, THERE WAS ONLY ONE BATHROOM IN THE HOSTEL INSIDE A ROOM. SO IF YOU WANTED TO GO YOU HAD TO ENTER IN THE OTHER PERSONS ROOM. I THINK IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE QUALITY OF THE HOSTEL AND THE PICTURES THAT THEY SHOW OF THE HOSTEL ARE NOT REAL
The hostel is unmarked except for a door buzzer label the size of a small post-it. I emailed in advance that I'd be arriving late, and while they said it was no problem I had no clue how to get in or where to find them. When I finally woke someone up and got in, the place resembled the set of the musical Rent, empty beer bottles and all. In the morning there was no one to be found to ask about leaving my bag for the day. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
I like the location.
Can't use WIFI in the room
I liked nothing. It was the worst experience in my life.
The place was extremely dirty. It looked like they never cleaned. Please do not go to this place there are many other places much much better than this place even with the same price or less!!!
Only free place during iSalone del Mobile
The guy is simply only cashing money. No comfort, bad hygiene, no service.
