Location (nearby Termini Station). Nice, friendly and helpul employees. Cleanliness of the rooms and public areas.
The staffs are very nice. This hotel is very clean.
free wifi- there is no free wifi in Rome The location is good near to Colosseo , but noisy The staff is so nice .
Basic breakfast and always the same
+ employes where friendly and kind + location is about 10 min walking from Termin +goed price for a good location
- breakfast was poor - I had the impression that i was in pakistan, bangladesh or china on the route from Termini to Hotel
The staff were very friendly, the location was where we needed to be and the room was both clean and spacious enough for the two of us. The breakfast included was very nice. Lots of fresh fruits, yogurts and biscuits with freshly made coffee and a very polite member of staff. A nice start to a busy day. There is also a small terrace just off of the breakfast room.
-very old hotel -not so clean -locker didn't work -no mini bar. The refrigerator was empty -floating bathroom
Very clean and the staff was very helpful
This is a family run small hotel in a walking distance from Termini. The location is very convenient if we understand its location and use the Giovanni Gioletti road. ( Which is exactly the first road on out exit (left side) from the station. The owners are very hospitable and try to help you in every possible way. In Rome for that price, it is great. Mark the correct directions to the hotel.
The name of the Hotel is very hard to locate. If there was a Neon display, it would help. Otherwise you may get lost.
Breakfast was good friendly staff
The staff is so nice . Everything is good here .
Nice and helpful staff Comfy beds
Language skills on staff Not a lot to choose from at breakfast
Close to the Termini Friendly family run Walking distance to many places Economical
Could have been better managed but we experienced:- Initially given a room with double bed, when a room with single beds had been requested and agreed in advance. Excess traffic noise outside, when a 'quiet' room had been requested and agreed in advance. The main dislike was that we were unable to receive breakfast at 6:15am from the kitchen staff on the day of leaving, in order to catch an early flight, when this had been previously agreed with the owner. (Note: The owner appeared to be absent minded. She would agree to provide something important and then forget to inform her staff).
A bit walk from Rome main terminal.
Best location, very close to the termini. Very nice staff (especially Marcia). Clean.
The shower was small and a bit uncomfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay , felt at home the minute we walked through the door. Owner was better than any tour guide, she saved us a fortune. We will definately be back .
The owner was very helpful, spoke good English and gave excellent information on what to see and routes to take - drawing it all out on a map for us. She explained the metro ticket system which was also helpful to a first time visitor. Hotel is close (5 minute walk) to Metro which takes you into the city centre in less than 10 minutes.
Breakfast was very basic - a croissant, coffee and juice - which wasn't much to start a long day of tramping the streets of Rome sightseeing. Would have been nice to have something cooked such as scrambled egg, or even just some ham and cheese with rolls. This isn't a big gripe though, we would certainly recommend the Ellyse' on value for money and hospitality.
Very friendly environment, spacious room, very clean bathroom, daily change of towels, close to Termini
Not much variety in breakfast, rather expensive for such an old building
The Staff were very polite and helpful. Te room was adequate for our needs and always kept clean. The free WiFi was of very good quality. The vicinity to Stazione Termini was a big advantage.
Obviously being located near the train station the location although generally safe is not very clean and not well maintained. However, I would definitely stay here again when in Rome. My main complaint is the very low quality of the breakfast. I would suggest you try booking bed only and have breakfast in the many numerous cafes close by.
Comfortable bed and clean room
- Very helpfull and friendly stuff - supertasty and fresh breakfast, although quite simple variety of food at first sight. But you can be full withought any doubt.
A little noizy (railway station nearby), but with closed window it's pretty well.
-The staff was very nice and helpful. -The cleaning of the room was very well done. -The breakfast was nice as well.
- Breakfast could be a little more varied. - The room was nice but smelled like cigarette smoke, it smelt like this over the entire hotel (we are non-smokers). - We felt the hotel could use a little renovation and be more modern. - The neighbours were a bit noisy and flushed the toilet A LOT, several times during the night. We could hear a pin drop.
Staff makes you feel very welcome. Owner of the hotel gives better info than any tourist office. Fairly close to Termini and metro stations. Room was very clean. Good breakfast.
I have nothing to reproach
