The position of the hotel is very beautiful on a cliff close to the sea. The pool area!
Staff is awesome! Very helpful and the view there is marvelous!
Location is a bit in the middle of nowhere. Specially in October almost everything is closed (except the weekends).
Food was perfect in restaurant, but staff were unpleasant.
The La Baja hotel is an absolutely fantastic place for people looking for a relaxing holiday... Perfect location at the edge of the cliff, wonderful views, super nice & helpful stuff speaking multiple languages. Out room was spacious, breakfasts - great, fresh juice at no extra cost was a great refreshment after a morning run.
Nothing to mention as all was perfect, exactly as we expected (or even better ;))
The employees were great. Everybody was really helpful and friendly starting with the front desk personnel and finishing with the pool bartender. They even gave us an umbrella and a chair for free for the whole stay
For a 4 star hotel I would have expected a more diverse breakfast. We stayed for 9 nights and it was the same thing every day. The boiled eggs were boiled for too long. They did not have an omlette or something diverse, some sausages. This is a thing that can be improved easily.
Location and amazing views from the balcony. Very helpful staff. Easy access to the beach.
Wifi hard to get in the room. Overall hotel ambience uninspiring at best but that is not too important with great sea views and pleasant staff.
Excellent staff (friendly, helpful, efficient, multi-language) Very clean rooms Beautiful sea view from all rooms Nice pool
Very well located regarding the sea view from a top hill location, but we found the city in itself deprived of interest Hotel is very clean but accomadated in an old-fashioned way Door of shower would go out of its rails whenever touched, and as there was nothing to lay soap/shampoo but the shower floor, it happened enough to make it unconfortable ... Breakfast area is nice, but food very average
The staff are very kind and helpfull.Restaurant cuisene is very delicious. The scenery from the room is very dramatic.
It is very dificult to protect water getting out from shower booth partition.
Rosanna at the front desk was excellent....helpful and a very warm & friendly person. View from the room was amazing showing both the water and the town. Pool was very nice. Breakfast was good. Place was very very clean at all times. Great value compared to the other properties we looked at.
Wifi was horrible.
The rooms, the pool, the views, the hospitable service ..... The country. The pool bar is a great addition. Guests are very well looked after
The restaurant was perfect for breakfast. Good food and a perfect view of the sea. Pat night however it lacked atmosphere and this could be improved very easily. Even the addition of candles would help. This is not a criticism of the food which was delicious.
Cleanlyness of room, seaview from restaurant, breakfast,
We had booked half-board (incl. diner) because we had read that there were little alternative places to eat in the neigbourhood. Next time we would not do so given the diversity of the preset menu. We recommend to eat a la carte in the hotel or go out for diner next door.
View from the room, breakfast area and the swimming pool was just amazing The beach below the hotel is not super nice but still great to have it by walking distance
Given the size and the overall "high end" image projected by the hotel, we would have expected the breakfast to be better. It had fresh orange juice, which is great, but overall the rest was not great compared to cheaper hotel in sardinia: no fresh fruit (ie only apple or kiwi, no melon, watermelon, fig etc.) not a lot of "salted" option (ie no scrambled eggs etc.).Coffee from an automated machine. Only cheese, decent pastries and cake but not much more
The view is panoramic
A FABULOUS hotel given its position, facilities, food, staff - simply everything! Overlooking a picturesque bay with a small, but lovely beach and gorgeous sea, it also offers a large swimming pool with the same fantastic views. The dinner exceeded our expectations, with unforgettable spaghetti allo scoglio and grilled seabass. The waiter should star in an Itallian movie, as he was most entertaining and the thought of him and the dinner brings a large smile onto my face. A GREAT breakfast - you really need several days to sample everything. Most helpful staff and the overall atmosphere would happily make us go back anytime!!!
The view is breathtaking
Splendid location, with marvelous views of ocean, friendly reception, good breakfast (fresh orange juice!) and diner
Hotel a bit worn-out, but nothing really dysfunctional
It is a very nice hotel with an amazing view from the rooms, nice personnel and good breakfast!
A bit far away from the beach and it is necessary to have a car to get to the hotel comfortably. But it is definitely worth it!
The staff wewre very friendly, welcoming & very helpful. The hotel was in a lovely position on a headland. The rooms were spotless, quiet with a good balcony to enjoy the great sea views. Breakfast was very good with an excellent selection of food.
The views were amazing and the staff helpful. The area is quite unspoilt and not at all touristy. It was peaceful and comfortable and the breakfast was adequate.
However, there was a big downside, which we weren't informed about until we enquired. As there was no sign of life in the restaurant (and only one other couple in the hotel) we asked whether the restaurant was open. We were informed that it was shut until Easter! This meant that we had to drive to the next village for an evening meal. The following evening (Monday) there was nowhere open in the immediate vicinity at all and we had to drive 25 kilometres in the fog to find somewhere! Not ideal if you want to relax after a day in the car exploring the area. Please note that the restaurant is closed from 1st November until Easter. We did complain about this then and afterwards (particularly as we had paid full hotel prices for what is essentially a B&B) but received no response. What is even more annoying is that they are still advertising the restaurant, which is very misleading. If we hadn't had hired a car, we would have been really hungry!
Room with balcony had a great view of the beach and coast. Restaurant is good with a slection of seafood and wine. Beach is a short walk with a restaurant close by. Good, safe parking available.
Too many rules that can make you nervous, like the room frig cannot be stocked with your water or drinks
