very helpful staff, good location
wifi broke down when I was there
The family that owns the hotel is really nice. They gave excellent directions and advice. The hotel was pretty central.
The shower was strangely located and the room a bit noisy.
Perfect room No.4 with window overlooking small piazza where local bus and taxi stop was located. 5 minute stroll to Piazza del Campo. The climb to the top of the museum tower was worth every step......a must do in Siena. Check in was simple and well handled. Cafés and shopping literally next door...Highly recommended........Loved the whole experience and can only say that the place is very well named...La Perla is indeed a pearler!
Maybe the bathroom and toilet area could be a little bigger to suit our larger travellers but hey...an en suite 3 paces from your bed is OK. Maybe the best shower we have had on this trp!
Nothing. I had to cancel our visit at wife got too sick to travel. They ignored all that not even offering to repay if the filled our reservation. Very Poor attitude to clients and their situation.
As I said no compassion or economic sense.
very comfort and well located
Excellent location and great value for money! Dont expect luxury but still very clean rooms. Staff is very helpful as well.
No elevator (specially for baggage) No breakfast at hotel
It is a clean, small hotel with the basics. Don't expect a 5 star hotel. If all that you want is a nice, clean, rather cheap hotel, in the very CENTRE of this beautiful city, then this the place to go. A taxi piazza is in front of the hotel, lots of stores to buy great and cheap food are within a stone's throw distance and Piazza Del Campo is just around the corner. Actually is 105 m away from the hotel. Duomo is 400 m away. Have a nice stay.
Parking. The historic center of Siena is closed to cars, so you have to park outside the restricted area. The best solution for me, was to park my car at the stadium. The actual distance to the hotel is 520 m, about 10 minutes walk. This route was quite easy and beautiful for me and the kids, even when we were carrying our luggage, since this specific route was not steep at all. They charge 2 €/h, from 07:00 to 20:00. After these hours, there is no charge. For a whole day, the cost is 26 €. Τhe coordinates for the parking are 43.320557°, 11.326220°. The route from the parking to the hotel is: 1.SW from Viale del Stadio Comunale to Viale dei Mille (16m) 2.Turn left to Piazza S. Domenico (48m) 3.Keep on Piazza S. Domenico (31m) 4.To Via del Paradiso (17m) 5.Turn right to Via della Sapienza (210) 6.Turn right to Via delle Terme (190m)
Perfect location very close to the heart of Siena (Piazza del Campo), very clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff.
A little bit noisy if you're on the side of the street, but not too bad. I would still recommend this place.
Is in the center of the city
For the price the room was boring, too much noise from a bar in front, no big towels.
Close to the plaza, shops, bakery & supermarket
Distance to train station but taxi is very friendly & taxi stand is in front of the hotel.
Well located in the centre of the town. Staff friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. Great stay in a wonderful location
Well located with easy walking to all the major sights in Siena. Many options for eating nearby, even an excellent fruit store.
Staff was very helpful,
Location so near to Piazza del Campo, staff hospitality in recommending good places for breakfast and dinner. Modern decoration in common area. Room facility is basic, very small and compact bathroom, but ok for just an overnight.
Aoutsite nois and the prompters by car parking
The hotel is really beautiful and very close to city center. I liked the fact that the staff speak good english what I think is really important if you're working with tourists. Many italians don't speak english and it was a bit dificult. Other think that I really aprecciate was the fact that I forgot a personal item in the room and they kept it for me to give me back. I was really glad about that. I totally recomend this hotel.
Idea location, the lady at the receptionist was so nice to help to deliver the luggage (but why a lady for so heavy suitcases...that makes people quite uncomfortable).
The internet as promised before booking was not available during the whole stay, which had to cost a newcomer (who is very much in need of this particular service and who isn't familiar with the city) quite a lot...I have to roam for internet because when I was questioning the problem the answer did not working to resolve any problem.
The Hotel staff were very informative on local points of intrest. Good resturants and places that must be seen.
Our stay was too short.
I like the big room
the toilet is too small and they removed the TV
