Enjoy fantastic lake views from your private balcony or garden at Borgo Le Terrazze. The suites and studios come with modern amenities.
Score from 514 reviews Wonderful
Staff very helpful, very clean, beautiful view, nice rooms.
No free parking available, even out of season.
The staff is excellent at providing information and very attentive to our needs. The hotel is super clean. The door locks are a bit odd and difficult to learn, which means it would be tough on criminals too. Breakfast was standard fare and plentiful.
The locks. Hair dryer. Pillows.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble. We had a lovely room with a balcony and excellent views of Lake Como. We had a very nice stay
The busy road and very few footpaths. We found an Alley way ... if you take a right out of hotel the alley is on your left.... This felt much safer however you will need to use road still at times.
The location the place the friendly stuff...
Walking on the road with no side walk...
Everything. Classy, clean and warm. I'd add loving! The staff was perfect. Besides, that's one of the most beautiful places I've seen.
The water were a problem in our room. Went from freezing to scalding randomly. Staff didn't know what I was talking about. I am not complaining since I only stayed there a day. But I urge the travelers to check their shower when they arrive. =)
Comfortable, clean, family run hotel with a really relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff who speak good English. Breakfast was good, typical continental, ask for coffee from the proper coffee machine, not the instant from the self service machine. The coffee is excellent. Swimming pool is a big bonus at a hotel in this price range and not too cold either! Overall a good choice for a comfortable, good value hotel, especially if you have a car.
The first 150 meters of the walk to the main part of Tremezzo is difficult as there is no pavement and the road is busy. Pleasant walk after 150 meters. The road is well lit at night and less traffic so almost easier at night. Not a problem if you have a car! Probably a bigger issue for me than most as I was attending a wedding where most of the other guests were further up in Tremezzo so I walked it a lot!
The staff - they were excellent
- Pool - View - Breakfast - Helpful staff - Free WiFi - 8 Euro private parking
- Third bed in the triple room was a camp bed
The location and view from the hptel
Parking garage and breakfast.
The view on the lake. The garage for the car. The service. The confort of the room. The swimming pool. The location
Difficulty to walk outside because in some part of the road there is no place for the pedestrians. We were at the forth floor (under the roof) and it should have better to be at the lower levels.
Pool, free wifi, breakfast, clean rooms, balconies, walking distance to restaurants
Location, lake view, good rooms.
Very poor breakfast.
The location was ok, the staff was pleasant, the overall organization good.
Extremely monotonous breakfast, even for the Italian three stars hotel standards. For our nine-days visit there was no change of linen.
wonderful view on the mountains and the lake, big and comfortable room, quiet, excellent staff made us feel as the most important clients, good location-take the greenway on the mountain side instead of the busy road to nearest town and ferry port. Nice pool, good parking slot, excellent value for money
Everything was brilliant
Friendly staff..Easy and safe parking... Enjoyed the 3 course dinner menu, which was fine for 20euros. Nice and cosy atmosphere. Breakfast was okay, except for the coffee; better coffee machines are available at gas stations.
A topmadras on the beds would have been nice, as all the springs could be felt. Pilllows too soft, bit then again, it could be just me. Road close, and cars speeding. No real alternative to the hotel restaurant, if you do not want to drive. Terrible coffee!
We liked the pool and the parking facilities-very secure to leave luggage in the car.
The lack of pavement walking from hotel into the village, dangerous at any time of the day.
Pool, value, views
No bar at night
For two nights we were joined by our daughter and the hotel was very accommodating in putting an extra bed in our room as they had no spare rooms. There is a good garage for parking cars
We stayed four nights as part of a longer tour around Europe. However it was easily the worst of the nine hotels we used on this trip. The hotel is essentially a bus stop over. We were probably the only ones not part of a coach trip and the staff don't seem interested in those staying more than one night nor in fostering returning clientele. The food is terrible and there is no separate bar area. We even resorted to eating breakfast elsewhere despite having it included in the room rate. The beds are strangely knobbly as though the springs failed some years ago. Very uncomfortable. If there are two coaches staying overnight it is very difficult to get in the garage with anything larger than a Fiat panda and the turning in from the road becomes very dangerous. All in all a hotel to be avoided.
The hotel was in a central location which was very convenient for exploring lake Como in each direction. Also I had a beautiful view from the balcony.
There was not much I didn't like but having followed your directions I discovered that the bus stop at Collono was wrong and I had to wait 40 minutes for another bus to Mezzegra.
Great views of the lake and quick access to the greenway
The location is sensational. Difficult access to negotiate unless you are travelling with a car as there are limited footpaths on the main road in Azzano.
Breakfast was disappointing. Poor tasking juices, coffee and tea.
Great view of the lake. Close to two ferry stops. Fridge in room.
Beds were hard. Coffee was terrible.
We stayed at Lario Hotel for the second time. Every time we are at Komo lake we will book only this hotel. Everything there is exellent. Our special thanks to Korinna and Nicole who made our stay very comfortable and pleasant.
