Hotel Mach Rome Airport  

We were given a handicapped room and had issues with the light staying on. Did go off, but then came back on. My husband cut the power so we could sleep and therefore, no a/C. Extremely hot in the hallway. I was disappointed to have been given this room, considering I had made the reservation back in April.

The location is great. The hotel is not fussy and access to bus and metro is fantastic

Located very close to the Rome Fiumicino airport, it is good if you have an early morning flight. Has free parking, wifi, a few English tv stations available, a good free breakfast. There are a couple of small good family run restaurants within walking distance. The staff were nice, spoke good English, and were very helpful.

The hotel definitely needs refurbishing. It is shabby. It appears they may have started, as the bathroom was nicely updated with very modern facilities, but the bedroom had dirty carpets and drapes, and needed painting. The bed itself was satisfactory. The hallways were dingy, with dirty carpets and marked walls. It was overpriced for what it offered. You are paying for the convenience of being right at the Rome airport. It looked much better in the online pictures and description than it did in reality.

Very conveniently located close to the airport. Not a luxury hotel but very decent with all conveniences and good restaurant on ground floor. Shower head not great and smell of smoke comes through the vents. Would stay there again however ....

Watch out for tricky promotion like free airport shuttle. They will make you pay 8 euros despite they claim its a free service in Booking.com

It was very close to Rome Airport. Great location for an overnight stay between flights. We didn't want to go into Rome city when in transit.

The decor is dated and needs upgrading. The breakfast was very basic. Airport Shuttle was more expensive than the taxi.

We booked because after a 2 wk stay in Italy and traveling, this brought us close to the airport for early next day departure. The shuttle was a big plus! The reception upon arrival was very good, he even kept our luggage locked in office for departure next morning. As your restaurant was closed, he directed us down the street and we found a wonderful, delicious place for dinner on a Sunday nite. The included breakfast was very nice.

Very, very very tiny room for the money. Clean tho. We could have not stayed more than one night due to the size of the room and we're just 2 people.

It was very close to the airport and I was able to get a shuttle for 6 Euros from the hotel, the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. If you turn left out of the hotel and then your first left there is a simple "mom and pop" restaurant that was great.

The area is not visually appealing. I was just stopping over before flying out the next morning, so it was fine for that. It was too expensive for the location. Trying to find a taxi from the airport to the hotel was difficult since none of the taxi drivers wanted to take such a cheep fare. I ended up paying someone extra to have them take me - it was very difficult.

I would not stay at this hotel again. However the reception personnel were helpful, supportive, and friendly. The facility was not worthy of their professional caliber. The shuttle service was great.

I did not like the lack of cleanliness nor did the hotel convey a feeling of security. The food in the restaurant associated with the hotel was not up to par.

The proximity to the airport. It would have been great to have the "shuttle" more visible at the airport. As it was, we ended up paying 30 e for a taxi from the airport to the hotel but were able to use the shuttle for 6 e the next day. The breakfast was excellent and included in the room cost. It was great to have a Kettle in the room to make tea and coffee. This was the first hotel in Italy where we had that luxury!

The person at the reception when we checked in was not very friendly or helpful as we had large suitecases but were not offered any help to get them to our room. The staff in the morning were much more accommodating and friendly.

the restuarant was close by and the meals were very good. Ease of booking on line and very efficient checkin and checkout.Room was always very clean and cleaning staff very helpful.Gym was excellant good range of equipment

the confusion about the shuttle bus location. While I come to the Mach 2 times or more a year it is not always easy to find the shuttle bus. I know some of that is not the responsibility of the hotel. It would be good to have up to date shuttle bus location on the website along with the times for the bus to especialy from the airport. Air conditioning in the gym would be good.
