Relax on the grounds at this friendly hotel, in the popular area of San Lorenzo in the center of Rome, surrounded by typical restaurants and cafés.
Score from 958 reviews Very good
Residenza al Corso is in the heart of Rome's most popular shopping district. It is a 5 minute walk from the Spanish Steps and the Metro. Rooms are air conditioned.
Score from 166 reviews Good
Madison Hotel is right across from Rome Termini Station for metro and bus services across the city. There is a daily buffet breakfast, and staff is available 24 hours a day.
Score from 1508 reviews Good

Common areas nicely decorated
Had to change and upgrade room, first one totally unacceptable. Shower did not work properly in either room. Water leak stains in bathroom, Fridge didn't work in 2 of 3 rooms. One member of staff really switched off. Should be a lot better, even for the price.
Location - close to bus stop, 15 min walking to metro
Third bed fitted into a small room, with no room for movement. Closet damp and stinky. Sauna like shower dirty and stained, so did not use. The shower was right near the toilet, making the tissues wet, no shower door, bathroom a big mess. Breakfast was minimal, checkout was at 11, not convenient
I loved the room that we stayed in. It had a jacuzzi bathtub that my son liked and it was very clean. I like the location of the hotel, it was very close to the busses and allowed us to be very mobile
One Receptionist (new guy) was very helpful and barstaff aswell. These are one of the reasons I will consider returning to this hotel. Perfect location. Cleaning perfect aswell.
Breakfast poor Some of the staff in the Reception weren't very helpfull, to the point of unfriendly.
Lovely old building
Lift didn't work
The location was good as well as the interior decoration in public areas. Breakfast was ok. Close to bus stop.
We have booked a triple room but got a double room with an extra bed. And the clerk said they had no triple rooms! The shower cabin was not clean, nor was the shower curtain. And there was unprotected hole on the floor of the cabin for the water, 5 cm diameter! We also had constant problems with the towels, 3 towels could be changed to 1.
dirty room, showerdoor dropped off,had to stand outside bathroom to dry cos room so small, took 24 hrs to get extra pillow in room, ran out of food at breakfast, ran out of beer on roof bar, roof terrace a joke, staff unhelpful.Would not give this hotel 2 stars never mind 4
I liked the location, the way the room was furnished, the breakfast in such a great ambience
There was a lack of fresh fruits for breakfast;
Decor was really cool, good breakfast, wifi, location.
Bed was a little uncomfortable.
Hotel was generally in a fair location and bus stop was outside hotel which was good. However the website says a ten minute walk to Trevi Fountain. I am a walker and it still took me 25 minutes to get there. I was in a single room on the side where the hotel had clearly been done up so my room was fair and clean. It was ok value for money but not as described on their website.
On arrival was greeted by a friendly and helpful receptionist and a couple of the other staff were friendly and helpfull. However the other receptionist was surly and unhelpfull. Breakfast was poor with little choice and when a lot of guests arrived at 9.30 to eat there was little food left and had to ask for glasses, plates, eggs, ham etc. The hotel was clearly understaffed, so probably not the staffs fault but the hotels. My friends were on the other side of the hotel which was extremely jaded and dirty. Their room had clearly not beem cleaned properly as there was long dark hair in the shower and sink. Tiles looked like they had not been cleaned for years! Hairdryer was held together wth cellotape. My friend asked for an extra pillow on the first morning and this never materialised. Roof top terrace was dissapointing and bar had no draught or bottled beer which staff said was because they could not get on a weekend, clearly evidencing poor management. I accept that the best hotels are nearer town and much more expensive but Hotel Turner is not as advertised and therefore left me dissapointed.
No wifi then I ask to change the room .but they ignor to change then I had to. Pay extra to change the room staf are non skills breakfast was ok but this property is not a 4 star it's can 2 star -Salim from United Kingdom
Information in the room isn't English hard know things
Fantastic value for money. Very nice inside. Bedrooms are small but accommodating. The walk to Republica and Termini is delightful and quick. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, and would recommend others do the same.
Hotel ran out of hot water the morning we were leaving. However, we returned later in the afternoon and were able to borrow a room free of charge for 2 hours to freshen up before our flight home. Breakfast menu is average.
I thought the breakfast buffet could be more furnished and the coffee machine give cappuccino
Hotel is near to Termini Station and good conection by bus to the centre of Rome.
Room was small and breakfast wasn't good. This hotel has 4 stars - I don't know why ...
Good location almost central.
Old building, not clean.
the Hotel was elegant ,clean , great neighborhood in Rome close to public transportation
one clerk afternoon shift
one of the reception staff was not very nice or helpful. Most of the other staff was very nice
German TV channel
Breakfast ham and cheese has been poor standard
This hotel has an opulent lobby area, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good. The location is a little out of the very centre of the city but the Metro is convenient a short walk away and within the limits of the system, gets you to most places within a short walk.
Rooms are very small, wifi tricky to access, especially in room, bathroom fittings and fixtures vary regarding maintenance (light bulbs needing replacement, hand basin plugs missing or not functioning, but all minor relative to value for money.
The location is OK.
This hotel is very old. The elavator is very damageous for passager. They don't offer the water and hot water. The Wi-Fi not so easy to connect. The employee attitude can't offer so kindly and friendly for customer. They can offer the information about local tax for each passager before.
The hotel was amazing and great value for money. The location was quite central.
Exellent renovation in main hall and restaurant
Room was extremely small but payment was for standard room. Conditions in this room was max for 2 star, bathroom is 1sq m. Awfull and disgusting, old renovation. You have to put real foto of rooms on your website. We planed to stay in a antique palace but were disapointed.
very nice personnel
hotel has kind of two parts - new one and old one, the old one is not worth of 4 stars, however the new one is very nice
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Gave helpful tips and directions to all the "need-to-see" attractions. Close to public transport. Very clean and quiet room. Also close to a supermartket, pharmacie, pizzeria, etc. Wifi was fast, just a low signal in the room. The whole Hotel is very pretty.
Can't complain. It was all good!
