Just behind Rome's Pantheon, this charming property is in a building that was once home to Giuseppe Garibaldi. It has air-conditioned rooms with LCD TVs and free Wi-Fi.

Bedroom was quite nice and breakfast was good.
Internet cut most of the stay, TV channels limited (no english channel found), no parking available ..
Not much. Do not be impressed by the faux classic decor of the lobby! the rooms (at least the one I stayed in) are shabby and totally not worth your money. Bus stop right outside hotel entrance (but beware of ticket vending machine: it could swallow your coins! best buy tickets from the tobacco shop 150m away). It's not really expensive, but don't expect a 4* standard :(
Almost everything. Bed was not comfortable. Shower was extremely tight, with old fixtures. Room furniture were faux antiques, crumbling. So was the ceiling cornice, falling apart. Curtains dirty, not very clean in general. Cheap toiletries. Breakfast very basic - eggs very poor quality, sausages were actually cut up hot dogs. Don't use the automatic coffee dispenser, it's undrinkable; instead ask for Italian coffee (palatable) from the kitchen. Staff generally nice, but some with attitude. Printer low on ink (not convenient for printing documents or boarding pass). Worst point: one one of the 5 nights I spent there it was particularly noisy until 1:30 a.m. It turns out the hotel rents some of its rooms as residences and some floors are cut off from the hotel, therefore staff have no control over these users' levels of boisterous behavior. Avoid if possible.
close to Termini, nice staff, fantastic breakfast for that price (didn't have to eat again for 10 hrs after the breakfast), very beautiful building, very good wifi connection, bed very comfortable
The mini bar should have been filled every day with at least mineral water (sparkling)
As have a grate location and friendly reception
Air conditioning not working bathroom in poor standard cleaning staff didn't clean properly just to look ok.
Friendly staff, helpful, some nice restaurants nearby.
Small room, not much to choose for breakfast, expensive garden bar.
Location. Close to Porta Pia with good transport to the Vatican, Termini and city center.
Definitely not a 4 star hotel! Initially set in a back yard room which smelled awfully of kitchen as hotel restorant was underneath. After arguments with reception and sending the errand boy to confirm that the roomed actually smelled of kitchen!, got moved to another room facing the street. Basically both rooms were identically furnished with old (and I mean worn out and dirty furniture, not the one on the official photos)! Dirty and not well maintained common areas (carpet at least my age!). The bathroom was also very dirty. Taking a shower was a nighmare - the shower was broken so water could not drain out. Overall, don't trust the official photos and the 4 star rating!
They charged extra per night city taxes, they only informed me after I arrived there
Decent location, helpful staff
Small room, poor facilities, mediocre breakfast.
Rented junior suite and it was great!! The staff was outstanding. Gelato Romana is a short walk with the best gelato anywhere. Cafe to right of hotel about 100 yards is very good for breakfast or lunch and is reasonable
Breakfast was fair
staff were rude out of the way of the main city wifi did not work Our friends also stayed here and their bathroom was flooded and the lights in the room did not switch off
Location is good. Breakfast is not very varied but good. Perfect coffee. Inet, wifi, printer.
The economic rooms are very small and dark.
General spaces - halls and reception is ok. Very beutiful woman on reception, but beuty does not compensate rooms, which were aweful...
All the rest. In particular there was no food. At all. Breakfast was "included", so we had in the morning dried fruits... Cheese and ham left as the only food I am not sure if dogs would eat. Bathroom was devastated, shower was sinking, so there was a lot of water on the floor and almost no water on me.... Rooms are small and bed is good for kids, but not for adults. We could not sleep with my wife, so general experience was terrible...
The staff are so friendly and go above and beyond what I would expect from any hotel. I was travelling alone, a normal thing for me, but I have never been offered so much advice on what to see, where to eat, and where to really guard your belongings so as not to fall victim to the pickpockets. I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go back again!
Common areas nicely decorated
Had to change and upgrade room, first one totally unacceptable. Shower did not work properly in either room. Water leak stains in bathroom, Fridge didn't work in 2 of 3 rooms. One member of staff really switched off. Should be a lot better, even for the price.
Location - close to bus stop, 15 min walking to metro
Third bed fitted into a small room, with no room for movement. Closet damp and stinky. Sauna like shower dirty and stained, so did not use. The shower was right near the toilet, making the tissues wet, no shower door, bathroom a big mess. Breakfast was minimal, checkout was at 11, not convenient
I loved the room that we stayed in. It had a jacuzzi bathtub that my son liked and it was very clean. I like the location of the hotel, it was very close to the busses and allowed us to be very mobile
One Receptionist (new guy) was very helpful and barstaff aswell. These are one of the reasons I will consider returning to this hotel. Perfect location. Cleaning perfect aswell.
Breakfast poor Some of the staff in the Reception weren't very helpfull, to the point of unfriendly.
Lovely old building
Lift didn't work
The location was good as well as the interior decoration in public areas. Breakfast was ok. Close to bus stop.
We have booked a triple room but got a double room with an extra bed. And the clerk said they had no triple rooms! The shower cabin was not clean, nor was the shower curtain. And there was unprotected hole on the floor of the cabin for the water, 5 cm diameter! We also had constant problems with the towels, 3 towels could be changed to 1.
dirty room, showerdoor dropped off,had to stand outside bathroom to dry cos room so small, took 24 hrs to get extra pillow in room, ran out of food at breakfast, ran out of beer on roof bar, roof terrace a joke, staff unhelpful.Would not give this hotel 2 stars never mind 4
I liked the location, the way the room was furnished, the breakfast in such a great ambience
There was a lack of fresh fruits for breakfast;
Decor was really cool, good breakfast, wifi, location.
Bed was a little uncomfortable.
Hotel was generally in a fair location and bus stop was outside hotel which was good. However the website says a ten minute walk to Trevi Fountain. I am a walker and it still took me 25 minutes to get there. I was in a single room on the side where the hotel had clearly been done up so my room was fair and clean. It was ok value for money but not as described on their website.
On arrival was greeted by a friendly and helpful receptionist and a couple of the other staff were friendly and helpfull. However the other receptionist was surly and unhelpfull. Breakfast was poor with little choice and when a lot of guests arrived at 9.30 to eat there was little food left and had to ask for glasses, plates, eggs, ham etc. The hotel was clearly understaffed, so probably not the staffs fault but the hotels. My friends were on the other side of the hotel which was extremely jaded and dirty. Their room had clearly not beem cleaned properly as there was long dark hair in the shower and sink. Tiles looked like they had not been cleaned for years! Hairdryer was held together wth cellotape. My friend asked for an extra pillow on the first morning and this never materialised. Roof top terrace was dissapointing and bar had no draught or bottled beer which staff said was because they could not get on a weekend, clearly evidencing poor management. I accept that the best hotels are nearer town and much more expensive but Hotel Turner is not as advertised and therefore left me dissapointed.
No wifi then I ask to change the room .but they ignor to change then I had to. Pay extra to change the room staf are non skills breakfast was ok but this property is not a 4 star it's can 2 star -Salim from United Kingdom
Information in the room isn't English hard know things
Fantastic value for money. Very nice inside. Bedrooms are small but accommodating. The walk to Republica and Termini is delightful and quick. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, and would recommend others do the same.
Hotel ran out of hot water the morning we were leaving. However, we returned later in the afternoon and were able to borrow a room free of charge for 2 hours to freshen up before our flight home. Breakfast menu is average.
