Stylish villa building; Nice location in a residential area; close to the metro station Policlinico; calm area
long qewing at check out
Very good location, nice room, calm and quiet. Excellent value for money (49 euros per night). Breakfast is OK. I even had wifi in my room, even if the hotel staff told me I wouldn't. I recommend the rooms facing the inner garden/patio.
Bed was comfortable. Staff had good English vocabulary.
There was no fridge in the room or kettle. Even though we paid for 4* hotel. Limited option for breakfast, advertisement stated wide range but didn't look it. When I asked for fried egg kitchen staff did not know what that is. Pastry and croissant range also finished, staff didn't bother replacing. In the shower the towels were off poor quality. When leaving the hotel for day out we asked for jug of water for the room came back and there was nothing there.
The room 505 with an another one next to, is not located in the main building. It is like an adapted single garage for hotel’s room. I am gonna tell you about all disadvantages of the place: 1. You need to pour out the hot water for like 20 min. to get is warm. Probably because of massive length of the pipes inside of the building and in the garden. 2. The air temperature in the middle of the rainy November’s day is low. So the room needs the heating. But the heater has got no power regulation. It heats barely like 100W bulb. Not to let you use more energy. So the room is cold. 3. Bathroom was excellent, but very long time ago. Because of bad housekeeping there is a lot of black mould on the ceiling and on the threshold of the shower’s door. The fan doesn’t work so there is no way to get rid off the moisture and not fresh air. Of course you can keep the door widely open but there is almost no heating. So your room always smells of moisture and black mould spores. I did report it twice to different staff members. They only were startled. They didn’t do anything at all. Just like they don’t mind the filthy standards. They’re just carless. 4. The day we arrived there was no friendly welcome. An original Italian receptionist treated us like a problem he’d sorted out. We thought we deserved somehow to be treated like that. But few min. later another family of guests was treated by him the same way. I am highly disappointed I was there. My advice is for anyone: don’t book the hotel ever.
Everything was fine, really, but nothing really extraordinary.
Not a wonderful feeling. Everything was just a little bit more run down than I wanted.
Breakfast, staff, room, place, garden, location
The only advantage of the hotel is the location: nice, safe neighbourhood, with a lovely park nearby.
The hotel was lousy. Small room (which is ok after all, considering you are not in Rome to spend time in the room more than a few hours of sleeping), clean but very poor sheets, strange towels (are meant for kitchen use, not after bath), basic breakfast with fresh fruits. Overall, our impression was of a cheap hotel, with 4 stars only in the happy dreams of the manager! Very good to be used only for a night or two. We will never come again here (for sure we will come back to visit the park) and never recommend it to family and friends. Probably our bad impression is coming from the fact that our room was located in another building than the principal building of the hotel. If you expect the quality of a 4 star hotel you will be disappointed. For 100 euro per night we could have rented an apartment…
good location , very close to the Metro station .We arrived from the airport by train then with the Metro. was a short trip. Room was comfortable and clean. Great Breakfast
Old rooms and uncomfortable mattress
Very good breakfast, peaceful area, clean rooms, good value
Nothing really, I was very satisfied
We got a newly renovated room. Good italian breakfast
Nice room Polite staff Very good breakfast Very close to transport (metro, tram, bus)
wifi not in range in my room could be a little bit cheaper
It's simply great
Except small room everything is good but one cannot find such good quality hotel within our budget
Good enough for comfortable stay.
The room could be slightly updated. Inside part of wardrobe and TV-table shelves needs some maintenance (not at all clean).
Really good breakfast with wide range of many products (fresh fruits also!).Every day maids clean room and change towels (which are very good value). Neighborhood is pleasant and not so dirty like other areas of Rome are.5 min straight way slow walk to metro. There is a self-service shop on the way to metro station.Hotel has its own garden wich is quite enjoyable (quests can have a rest there). Trully recommend this place!
Location is good Really nice hotel room Great breakfast Very clean and nice hotel
Nice hotel with friendly staff ready to help anytime you need. Comfortable clean room, good breakfast.
The room was quiet and comfortable, even though on the small side.
I thought the man on the desk when I arrived was rather distracted by 3 or 4 telehone calls which took priority over me when I was checking in. But otherwise the staff were really helpful.
Staff very helpfull
Excellent location, nice neighborhood, lovely decoration, nice breakfast
No wifi access in the rooms
Good location near metro. Nice restaurants nearby.
Air conditioner did not work.
The location was ideal The staff was very helpful The breakfasts were excellent The peace and quiet
The rooms could be slightly updated, but were good enough for comfortable stay Little cooler to store water etc would be very good
I found the Hotel very satisfactory. The Breakfast is good and abundant and the staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful.
The wi-fi doesn't had strong signal at my room, the towels was kind of weird!
Janitor who brought our towels after we complained that the room had not been touched by cleaning staff.
Staff at desk poor and talked on the phone for a considerable time before attending our check in. The room was not cleaned, towels not changed, bins not emptied and bed not made during our stay. Desk staff rude when challenged on lack of room cleanliness. Food for breakfast was not very warm and was not replenished very quickly. Disappointing because I have stayed here for over 15 years and it has been good. We will not be staying again.
