Fantastic location - stone's throw away from the Trevi Fountain and very central Great service - we were upgraded to the superior room - recommended! Clean room, bathroom, and hotel overall Overall, great value for money!

The location was excellent. For a few days tourism is the best choice.

The breakfast was good, but it was exactly the same for all days. The internet wi-fi was a bit expensive.

Found the staff were only there to answer a telephone call or check people in. Not service oriented with a smile.

Most of the staff does not speak english - but this is definitely not a major issue.

Great location - few steps from Trevi fountain, with shopping/food/drinks at your doorsteps. A perfect starting point when exploring all the major attractions of Rome on foot or with local transport connections. Lovely breakfast room with tasty and fresh selection to satisfy all. Rooms have all necessary amenities for an enjoyable stay. Comfortable lobby for waiting.

The temperature in the room was hard to regulate - it was often too hot. When you open the windows to cool it down, the church bells ring every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day.

We have stayed at Hotel Accademia four or five times now and have always been really pleased with our room. This time sadly not so good! Paid over £500 for 3 nights and was given room 107. Sadly we were extremely disappointed with the room. The room was really small and although this is quite normal in rome - this one would have been better kept as a store room. There was nowhere to put cases - we had to keep them at side of bed so kept tripping over them. There was only one plug in the room (that we could find) - not ideal trying to charge two mobile phones and use hair straighteners. The shower was tiny - had to shower with the door open in order to get washed properly - and I'm only 5ft and a size 12! In the shower there were some wires poking out through the tiles??? The smoke detector flashed green light all night - probably done this in every other room we had but was never noticeable so am guessing due to the size of the room.

If you plan to visit Rome on foot, this has to be one of the best locations available. It's literally a stone's throw from the Trevi fountain and 5 minutes from the Pantheon. The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and happy to help make your stay that much more enjoyable (recommending restaurants, printing out directions, booking cabs etc.).

I'm afraid the breakfast wasn't up to scratch .. the selection left to be desired, particularly in the culinary heaven that is Rome. Bread was a bit stale and butter had gone off.

Hotel Accademia is wonderful value for a hotel in the city centre.

I thought that the room was very small and in need of an upgrade and the hotel staff were not very friendly or welcoming.

No Free Wi Fi , Scrambled eggs were cold most mornings.Would be good to get some fresh hot eggs of choice. Rooms very small but clean.

The service at your hotel was very good and the location second to none but my only concern was that the price of $220pn we paid for the 2 nights of 28 and 29 June was considerably higher than that offered on your website at $110 pn when I booked on-line from Florence on Tuesday 24 July to stay at Accademia on Wednesday 25 July 2012. Your hotel was fully booked anyway so we had to find alternative accommodation even though I had no confirmation or otherwise of my booking and only discoved you were fully booked when we rang you from our car when we were about one hours drive out of Rome.
