Close to rail station and vaporetti
Wifi was excellent and you are given your own keys to stay at the apartment.
The furniture and beding was fair.
Location, helpful staff, rooms are ok, good value, clean areas
Busy season it might be noisy.
Excellent location, kind staff, air conditioning.
Our room was in a separate building with steep stairs and a small corridor. The room itself was a bit small and drab, but fine. The furniture was a bit, uhm, ageé.
everything! every lovely room!
Close to railway station, neat & clean
Staffs are very rude
We stayed overnight. all was excellent.. the staff was so kind and friendly, clean room, comfortable bed, air conditioned, clean bathroom, free wi-fi and near to venezia s.lucia train station.
Better than expected. Basic room with beds and washbasin. Clean enough for a short stay and a few minutes walk from public transport and in the centre. Shared bathrooms cleaner than usual. Friendly staff offers to keep your luggage the next day.
High and steep staircase.
Close to PLZ Roma!!!
Being close to the front you can hear people come and go. No big issue though.
Great location, ideal if you travel by train or by airplane(it is next to the train station and two minutes away from the bus station), friendly owner, clean room, two shared bathrooms for three rooms.
The room was quite small and there were mosquitos
Close to St.Lucia station and Pizale Roma. Lady who was in the reception was very nice and supportive.
No lift, had to carry luggages to an up stair room climbing about 40 stairs. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room.
We had a good time. Everything was just fine.
Location was a bit far from the center, but still close to the train station and easy to find.
Staff helpful Good air-con Comfortable bed Close to everything
Bit pricey for room with shared bathroom, but just Venice prices
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel had good wifi (whereas we heard a lot of others having problems with wifi even at "better" hotels). Location was central.
Breakfasts were very, very basic - toast, jam, and coffee/tea.
My granddaughter and I loved staying in a Medieval palace. The location was great because we had to get to the cruise-ship terminal and it was within walking distance Lista Di Spagna is a great avenue for shopping!
Close to water bus and train station.
The lady at the reception is very good and helpful. Wifi reception was fine and wash rooms were clean. The hotel is very close to the SM station and it is very convenient to reach. Lots of restaurants around.
The time I booked, rooms with only shared bathroom were available. So I booked it, looking at the reviews. I didn't have much problem with that but the fact that the room itself was in some other building was scary. Also, when i checked in , it was late in the night, I had huge luggage with me and I had to take it all up at the reception for checking in. The night staff was least interested in his job, I must say. He was all very functional but not pleasing at all. After checking in, he led us to the other building, so I had to carry my huge luggage all the way down the stair way and to an adjacent street. It was my first time in Venice so the thin streets were lil scaring , he further led us to an old building , after may be going through 3 doors, and 3 floors up again through stair way we reached our room. The room again wasn't very appealing, but it was similar to the one shown in the picture, I do not have any complains. Only that it was very small. In short, every thing was functional and more or less clean but not at all appealing. Another thing which I did not liked was the urgency to vacate us one hour before the checking out time. We were given a knock by the cleaning staff to wake up and leave before at 9:30 am...we were well aware of the fact and were planning to get up by 10 as the check out time was 10:30 am. It is recommended only if thats the only place that suits your budget. Venice is very expensive and its rare to find a deal in peak tourist season.
Staff was friendly, location was good.
Woke up with clusters of bug bites on face, arms and legs. Luckily we were only there for one night! *shudder*
Well placed to stay and enjoy Venice. Security control was excellent.
Did not enjoy my stay at all. From the view outside the room to the peeping from neighbouring accommodation into your room. The breakfast was also something that could seriously be better.
Comfortable beds, great location close to train, restaurants, fruit market, and vaporetto, very clean.
They unsuccessfully tried to get us to pay extra for a private bath.
This was my 3rd time to stay there and the owners are super nice and location is perfect.
Heavy bags up a big flight of stairs.
Close to the train station Airconditioning Looked after luggage after we checked out.
Room and facilities were dated and bed was tiny!
- amazing location - easy access to room - good price, for Venice - super helpful staff - great wifi connection in room - quiet at night
