free parking,room with big balcony, wifi connection poor breakfest, noisy from the street in the night (because of old style windows), cold in room in october - not good heating in this time of the year. |

The room was very clean and the breakfast is very good. The restaurant next door is delicious and it is cheaper than the restaurants in the city center. |

I chose this hotel because I thought it was close to the airport, it wasn't. Staff was very gracious, spoke English well and very helpful. Room clean, quiet and good value for the money but was not near the airport or tourist attractions. Was in a commercial area so we also didn't have a choice of restaurants or places to shop before or after dinner. |

It was more than we expected for the price. Overall it was a very good stay. Clean room, nice and helpful personell speaking very good English, good next door restaurant, good location (especially for those travelling by car). Breakfast could be a little more generous. Although the hotel offers free parking, by the time we arrived there was no place to park on the hotel parking, but we parked for free on the street. |

Good, clean hotel. Easy to find and secure car parking next to the hotel. Breakfast was also more than adequate. Long way from centre of Florence. |

nothing in particular the double room we had (308) also had a single bed and a sofa bed which were useful as there was no drawer or shelf space at all for clothes etc. The lighting was poor. The space between the outer and inner windows was very dirty. The bathroom did not have any shelf space at all and the shower door was hanging off. No English language news on TV but our TV did not work anyway. We mentioned all this to the reception and only stayed one night and then moved to the delightful Azalee - at extra cost of course. |

Superb staff and very nice, large rooms. Comfortable beds and facilities. Located close to bus stops and local restaurants, supermarkets. Good internet and TV programs. Good breakfast. Small lift. A bit far from the city centre, but it's worth it. |

The hotel was 15 min by bus from the city. The traffic noise and musquitoes where among the worst experience. Most of staff at front desk did not understand english very well or did not know how to provide information using internet except for the gal (Andrea). |

good localisation (bus stop just outside the hotel), 15-20 mins to the city centre by bus, parking quite small but available at no additional charge very little bathroom, quite noisy as located at a busy street |

Low price compared to other hotels. Very close to bus station. Free parking. Night staff was rude. Room was a little musty. Dull breakfast. 25 minutes by bus to city center. |

The day that we checked out, which bear in mind was 1 night early. When we arrived at the hotel (which was stated to be very near to city centre and was actually 25 minutes outside by bus) we seen that it may not be the 3* hotel it was advertised as. Saying the room was basic is a complete understatement. The tv in room was about 15 inches, you could not get any channels on it, there were dead flies & insects splatted all across the wall, there was dried blood on the linen, the breakfast consisted of bread rolls, cheese slices, ham & watered down fresh orange juice. On the first night I left the hotel room to buy some cold water (as the room did not have a fridge) and when I returned my friend had been locked in the bathroom in excess of 20 mins because the handle was broken. Manager very aggressive also. |

There was a parking at the hotel. A bus stop was near the hotel so it was easy to get city center. It was a good place for money we paid. Please do not expect too much and you will be satisfied! |

Hotel Alex is a good value for money, very friendly staff, very clean room, a bit far from the town. But with bus 26 everything was sorted. Is a bit far from town. |
