The staf was extremely helpful with places to eat, sightseeing, and the bus/trains. The gentleman serving breakfast was wonderful and very good at his job...
Staff were amazingly friendly and super helpful, room was very clean and serviced every day, location was very handy to everything we needed
Recommendations were helpful. Breakfast was great
Nothing about the hotel. Transportation around the area was tedious. Also crowded.
The hotel is really nice an quiet. Set down the back streets close to the train station. The walk to the main square is breath taking. The staff are very friendly an helpfull. I would recommend this hotel
Staff were absolutely fantastic. Greeted on arrival, clean and comfortable rooms, relaxing terrace and great location. The breakfast was simple but tasty. It offers much more than we expected for the price we paid. Only 20 minutes walk or 2 minutes on train to Sorrento centre.
You cannot criticise anything about this hotel. It offers everything it promises and more. A great base for Sorrento, St Agnello and the rest of the area.
Paulo and the rest of the staff were so very welcoming and friendly. He in particular showed us so many places to go and ways to get to them -- bus, train, walking . . .we felt like family. Our breakfasts were wonderful and quick, so we were able to keep up with our hectic schedule (our son's wedding).
Such a small thing: the bars of soap could be a bit larger so they could be held in your hand when showering. Okay for one night, but not for a week's stay.
Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was great. It was nice to have fresh fruit and yoghurt for a change. A nice neighbourhood. Safe and easy to walk around.
Closest location to city center and harbour, breakfast is so good and Hotel has polite employees.
Very friendly & helpful staff (the owner and son), good breakfast, room very clean and feel like home. 5-10min walking distance to the train station. Restaurants recommended by Paolo the owner served very good food with reasonable price. Feel safe when walking at night.
This family run hotel is wonderful. Don't expect 5 star the rooms are small but the location peaceful and a good 20 min walk to Sorrento. The family who run this hotel are wonderful helpful. The breakfast was great too. We would love to come back.
The staff is incredible. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Breakfast was good too! I really enjoyed my stay.
Antonio and his dad were both extremely helpful and gave us lots of advice on where to go/what to see/places to eat, etc. overall we had a great stay apart from having to walk from Sorrento all the way to the hotel which took 30min since the nearby train station St. Agnelo had trains running only till 21.30.. We also had a lovely man serving us breakfast and attending to our 'special' food requests :)
The distance to the town, Mosquitos! Lots :)) take a repellent
staff quiet near Sorrento cleanliness air conditioning
ringing of bells at 5am if opened windows
Paulo is simply amazing. He is the most helpful hotel manager we have ever met. Hotel Angelina is a perfect place if you want to travel around Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Quiet, lovely, close to the beach, train and bus. It has also a roof terasse with a view to the Vesuvio.
Breakfast is the same every day
Everything was great, especially personell
could be a bit cheaper
All the staff is very helpful. Paolo gave us ideas on where to go and what to visit. He even suggested some great restaurants. Breakfast had a good selection of food. Overall it is an excellent hotel.
Everything, it was perfect. Staff were very helpful, wifi was fine, breakfast was beautiful and loved the atmosphere.
Excellent hotel in a nice, quiet neighborhood and not so far from tourist spots. Very easy to reach beaches, restaurants, rail and bus connections. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very decent. The staff was amazingly kind and helpful. Antonio and Paolo were excellent (Thanks a lot for everything). They really wanted to help you in getting the best out of your stay (e.g. nice restaurant tips, good advice on where to go and how to get there). You just feel there like home. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Hotel Angelina.
The staff was amazing and really helped take the guess work out of our vacation. Great suggestions for restaurants and tips for traveling.
The internet didn't work well in the rooms.
Palo and his father went out of their way to make my stay fabulous. After 3 months of travelling it was so lovely to stay somewhere where nothing was a problem from advice on the best restaurants to letting me use their personal olive oil to add to my evening meal. My room the Sweet Angelina overlooking the orange grove was exceptionally clean, bright and the bed and pillows were the most comfortable I've had on my trip. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Hotel Angelina.
The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfest was very good.
The hotel is a bit far from the city center and the room was a bit small for 3 people.
The staff was quite friendly, helpful, spoke good English, and always available. The breakfast is the best we had during three weeks in Italy. Sant' Agnello is quieter and less busy than nearby Sorrento. The air conditioning worked well.
Just as in every place we stayed in Italy, the rooms aren't as soundproofed as in the U.S. because the floors aren't carpeted and the walls aren't thick.
A small hotel that does not claim for greatness and big exotic facilities, but we spent great time there. Actually we did not expect this place to be so neat and good. The hosts are exceptionally kind and helpful, especially Paolo. We were given lots of information for every our daily trip - maps, bus timetables etc. The location is also good - it is in the silent neighborhood Sant Agnelo, which is just next to the crowded center of Sorento.
Exceptionally helpful host: Paolo spent a lot of time with us, helping to plan outings. All of his recommendations (transportation options, restaurants, etc.) were on target. Quiet neighborhood with at least one good restaurant very nearby. Peaceful room overlooking garden.
Wifi was poor. Location was peaceful, but a bit out of the way. We spent a lot of time traveling back and forth to Sorrento. Bathroom was cramped, even by European standards, and some facilities didn't work well. This was the biggest problem with our stay.
Great personell, very sympathetic and helpfull. Nice. Guiet and peacefull hotel away from bysy Sorrento streets only one stop away by circumvesuviana in the neighboring commune St. Angelo. Not luxus, but comcortable.
A bit oldish furniture, but very tidy room anyway, so no complains.
