Score from 13 reviews Wonderful
Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was great. It was nice to have fresh fruit and yoghurt for a change. A nice neighbourhood. Safe and easy to walk around.
Very friendly & helpful staff (the owner and son), good breakfast, room very clean and feel like home. 5-10min walking distance to the train station. Restaurants recommended by Paolo the owner served very good food with reasonable price. Feel safe when walking at night.
This family run hotel is wonderful. Don't expect 5 star the rooms are small but the location peaceful and a good 20 min walk to Sorrento. The family who run this hotel are wonderful helpful. The breakfast was great too. We would love to come back.
staff quiet near Sorrento cleanliness air conditioning
ringing of bells at 5am if opened windows
Paulo is simply amazing. He is the most helpful hotel manager we have ever met. Hotel Angelina is a perfect place if you want to travel around Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Quiet, lovely, close to the beach, train and bus. It has also a roof terasse with a view to the Vesuvio.
Breakfast is the same every day
Everything was great, especially personell
could be a bit cheaper
All the staff is very helpful. Paolo gave us ideas on where to go and what to visit. He even suggested some great restaurants. Breakfast had a good selection of food. Overall it is an excellent hotel.
Everything, it was perfect. Staff were very helpful, wifi was fine, breakfast was beautiful and loved the atmosphere.
Excellent hotel in a nice, quiet neighborhood and not so far from tourist spots. Very easy to reach beaches, restaurants, rail and bus connections. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very decent. The staff was amazingly kind and helpful. Antonio and Paolo were excellent (Thanks a lot for everything). They really wanted to help you in getting the best out of your stay (e.g. nice restaurant tips, good advice on where to go and how to get there). You just feel there like home. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Hotel Angelina.
The staff was amazing and really helped take the guess work out of our vacation. Great suggestions for restaurants and tips for traveling.
The internet didn't work well in the rooms.
Palo and his father went out of their way to make my stay fabulous. After 3 months of travelling it was so lovely to stay somewhere where nothing was a problem from advice on the best restaurants to letting me use their personal olive oil to add to my evening meal. My room the Sweet Angelina overlooking the orange grove was exceptionally clean, bright and the bed and pillows were the most comfortable I've had on my trip. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Hotel Angelina.
The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfest was very good.
The hotel is a bit far from the city center and the room was a bit small for 3 people.
The staff was quite friendly, helpful, spoke good English, and always available. The breakfast is the best we had during three weeks in Italy. Sant' Agnello is quieter and less busy than nearby Sorrento. The air conditioning worked well.
Just as in every place we stayed in Italy, the rooms aren't as soundproofed as in the U.S. because the floors aren't carpeted and the walls aren't thick.
A small hotel that does not claim for greatness and big exotic facilities, but we spent great time there. Actually we did not expect this place to be so neat and good. The hosts are exceptionally kind and helpful, especially Paolo. We were given lots of information for every our daily trip - maps, bus timetables etc. The location is also good - it is in the silent neighborhood Sant Agnelo, which is just next to the crowded center of Sorento.
Exceptionally helpful host: Paolo spent a lot of time with us, helping to plan outings. All of his recommendations (transportation options, restaurants, etc.) were on target. Quiet neighborhood with at least one good restaurant very nearby. Peaceful room overlooking garden.
Wifi was poor. Location was peaceful, but a bit out of the way. We spent a lot of time traveling back and forth to Sorrento. Bathroom was cramped, even by European standards, and some facilities didn't work well. This was the biggest problem with our stay.
Great personell, very sympathetic and helpfull. Nice. Guiet and peacefull hotel away from bysy Sorrento streets only one stop away by circumvesuviana in the neighboring commune St. Angelo. Not luxus, but comcortable.
A bit oldish furniture, but very tidy room anyway, so no complains.
Angelina has that wonderful "feeling" about it, where you feel at home and relaxed Love the location in sant agnello. Close to the train station, moonlight restaurant (great) and the beautiful sea. Have sunset drinks at the terrace (villa gardens). Spectacular!! Thanks so much to Antonio, Paolo and his father for making us feel welcomed. Paolo's father even drove us to the train station when leaving.Breakfasts good and variedand also a mention of the gentleman who works there who from the first day always remembered my choice if drink. Loveley terrace for evening drinks. Excellent value for money Hope to return one day. Thankyou
Quiet location, well served by public transport. Nice walk into Sorrento. Rooms very clean. Staff very friendly and provide helpful tourist advice. Breakfast very good.
The hotel is located in a quiet area which stays away from the noise of the main road. Paolo and his father are friendly and helpful, they would give good advice on what to see and where to eat. Actually all the staff are friendly and the room is always clean. It takes a 40-minute walk to Sorrento but I would say this hotel is an ideal base to explore Sorrento.
It was friendly and in a quiet location but easy to reach beaches, restaurants, rail and bus connections. Very adequate for my needs and the staff gave me all the info I needed.
Excellent hotel in a nice, quiet neighborhood, within a 7-minute walk from the Sant' Agnello train station. Rooms are clean and comfortable, some have balconies, and all face beautiful lemon orchards. Breakfast is very decent for a 2-star hotel. People at the reception were very helpful and friendly, gave some good advice on what to see in the area. Great value for money, highly recommended.
The staff was outstanding, they really wanted to help you in getting the best out of your stay. Everything from giving nice restaurant tips, where to go (and not to) and how to get there. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend Angelina.
Position of the place Kindness of the staff and their useful suggestions Nice balcony to chill in the afternoon
Staff was amazingly kind and helpful, I even got a free drink (some special Sorrento almond-mint cordial) when I was sitting in the terrace alone. Nice and quiet room, good location, good breakfast and good service.
No internet in the room but this was told before I arrived.
Paolo was a perfect host, he is so helpful, nice and open to the guests. He is always prepared with all information about the places, islands, restaurants, gift shops. His advices are simply perfect. :) The hotel is so lovely, friendly, homely and all the members of service staff are so nice. The area is very clean and the hotel is not so far from tourists spots. You just feel there like at home. :) If we go back to Sorrento we won't choose any other hotel only Hotel Angelina :)
