At arrival, the hotel was overbooked and the receptionist informed us that we would stay for one night at the Amadeus, then return to a upgraded room in exchange for our cooperation. Since the other hotel was in the same neighborhood and the hotel took care of tranferring our heavy luggage over the staired bridges, we didn't care much. The upgraded room - a studio, as they call it, although not bigger than a normal larger room - was in a separate building, the only problem being that there was absolutely no view from the room's windows which opened practically in the wall of the building on the opposite site of the very narrow street. Otherwise, the room was great, tastefully decorated and with a big canopy (!) bed. I still don't get why anything could get overbooked, especially out of season. |

The location is incredible; just in the opposite side of the train station and very close to the bus stop. There was no body to carry the luggage to the other side of the canal. You have to do it yourself passing over the canal by bridge. |

We chose this hotel based on it's proximity to Piazella Roma and the port. It was extremely convenient to get to after a very short walk. We had arrived early and our room was not yet ready. The able staff (Ricardo and Jessica) cheerfully greeted us, offered bathrooms, luggage storage and recommended some nearby places for us to grab lunch while they readied our room. The room turned out to be more luxurious than we had expected and had a great view of the Grand Canal. Had it not been for the helpfulness of the staff, we would never have stumbled upon an truly unique opera performance at Music de Palazzo, a very unique experience that left us feeling as if we had discovered a hidden secret of Venice! We highly recommend this place! We are hard pressed to come up with anything negative about this place! |

It's localisation and wonderful staff. The comfort was maximal for mthis class hotel in Venice (no illusions). We had the room for 3 persons. It's clear ,that it was ideal for a couple without the additional bed, but we didn't expect other situation. |

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was great - make sure to order your coffee from the bar as the machine is not so great. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Bathrooms are lovely as well. |

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location is great as it is close to the bus and train station therefore you dont have to drag your bags around Venice which due to the bridges is tough. Close to Vaporeto if walking is not your thing. Breakfast selection is good and the room although a little small it was comfortable. Room a little small. |

Fantastic position on the Grand Canal and also close to Piazzale Roma for buses and vaporettos, comfortable clean room, knowledgeable staff, reasonably good breakfast. We were offered an upgrade but upon inspection greatly preferred what we had booked. |

The hotel is extremely convenient to the train station and car park. The staff was very helpful in planning our dining and sightseeing. Despite having a deluxe room, it was very small. The mattress felt like it was decades old and delivered a morning back ache. The pillows were thin, hard, and seemed older than the bed. One day they forgot to clean our room but quickly corrected it. Breakfast was a bit disappointing considering the price of the hotel. It was a bit strange to have cleaning staff dragging vacuums and supplies through the breakfast room while you were eating. For $300 Euros per night, this was not a good value. |

The hotel was unfortunately overbooked when we arrived; they placed us in a hotel nearby which did not have the charm of the Antiche Figure, even though it was a more expensive property. But the staff of the Hotel Antiche Figure was outstanding; we would definitely book there again. We were extremely disappointed that we could not stay there; it would have been perfect. |

Friendly , very helpful staff. lovely room with a good view of the Grand Canal & its bustling water life. Well located, a few minutes walk to the station. We paid over 300 euros a night - the 4 star property next door offered a balcony room overlooking the canal including breakast for 240 euros a night. Our hotel was offering walk-ins a rate of 150 euros a night- therefore, we felt we had paid too much. |

The staff was friendly, the room was spacious, and the location was great just across from the S. Lucia train station. The bed was hard and it was easy to feel the separation between the twin beds that are pushed together to make a queen bed. |

Renovated bathrooms, cleanliness, location across from train station and vaporetti. Arrived very late at night due to flight delay, which annoyed the staff!! |

We loved staying at the Hotel Antiche Figure. It was close to the train station and to the Vaporetta stations. We stayed 3 days and bought 48 hour passes to the Vaporetta. St. Mark's Square was packed with tourists and were so glad to get back to our hotel. On day 3 we were tired of the crowds (and walking), and decided to take the Vaporetta to Lido to have lunch. The 48 hour pass also included this trip. The front desk service was excellent and could not have been more helpful. We ate dinner (twice!) at the Ostaria al Vecio Pozzo which was recommended by staff. The food and service was excellent. We loved getting "lost" in Venice. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. They will be opening a 2nd hotel in the near future. |

Fantastic service! The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating with anything we needed, including wine and glasses to take with us on our gondola ride. The hotel is opposite the train station; we walked off the eurostar and over one bridge and we were there. The hotel has a real friendly family vibe, and our rooms were both beautifully decorated and well appointed. There are tables and chairs outside the hotel where you can have your buffet breakfast, or drinks etc during the day or evening. It was a great place to sit for a break after a long day of sightseeing, especially as there aren't too many places in Venice that you can just sit around in without being in a restaurant or cafe. The vaporetto station is nearby; |

The hotel was perfect. We chose to be near The Piazale Roma for convenience of catching an early bus to the airport. Although we only stayed one night, we would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was small but perfectly formed in venetian style! The bathroom had every convenience and was floor to ceiling marble. We ate our breakfast outside overlooking the Grand Canal - not many hotels for the price where you can enjoy that experience. As it is the other end of the canal to San Marco, wander there and take the vaporetto all the way back - magical! |

The customer service level at this hotel is second to none. Every member of staff who we had dealings with were prepared to go that extra mile to ensure we had an excellent stay. I would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone. |

Completely renovated in 2006, this elegant 16th-century palace offers 4-star services, clean rooms, helpful staff and a very central position in Venice, between the Rialto Bridge and Saint Mark’s... |
Hotel Dragomanni features excellent staff, comfortable rooms and free breakfast. It is in a quiet residential area in Venice's historic centre. Saint Mark's Square is a 5-minute walk away. |
Hotel A La Commedia is just 200 metres from Rialto Bridge and a pleasant stroll from St. Mark's Square. Enjoy elegant accommodation with a host of modern comforts. |
Built in 1875, Villa Igea is located in Campo San Zaccaria, surely one of Venice's loveliest squares, only steps away from the hotel's main building. |
