Staff were lovely, waitresses at breakfast so helpful and cheerful. Food was good and the location very central, within walking distance to all sites apart from Vatican so really could not be better. Room cleaned daily with clean towels, good value for money Small problem with early morning street noise as we were on the street side but ear plugs took care of this.

Nice location for sightseeing. Near metro station. We've booked an apartaments on Urbania street. Good for big family (4-5 peoples). Too many cafee in 3 min walk. No cattle in the kitchen. Fear Wi-Fi signal, but good in corridor.

Family-owned business, helpful, efficient, friendly staff. Yammy breakfast, choises of coffee, location is excellent: next to Colliseum, Forum, Trajain market. piazza Venezia at one side and Diocletian's baths at the other, with Termini station by its side. Breakfast room on the top was lovely. If you are looking for luxury this hotel is not for you. Small hotel, very clean and friendly, with character, good food and excellent location. Lots of small restaurants and mini markets around. Nights weren't noisy, we could sleep, which is a lot to say about noisy and loud Rome. Dated hotel which did not bothered us at all. There is ni English channels on TV, bring your own entertainment.

During our family trip to Rome, we stayed in Apollo apartments and we had a wonderful time. The hotel and apartments have excellent location, the apartment was quite new, well equipped and very comfortable for our family.

Location was great! We stayed in apartments just down the road. They were very roomy and looked quite nice. There were so many little things that were not quite right. None of them deal breakers, but it all ads up. Bed was very hard, found it hard to sleep. Room was always hot, even with aircon on and/or windows open - and this was April so it wasn't hot outside. There was a bath for the kids, but no bath plug. There was a huge walk in robe, but the light didn't work so it was pitch black and couldn't be used. Our room wasn't cleaned for 3 days, and only was after we complained. We asked for a cot which was left in the room but not put up, and no sheets supplied. There is a kitchenette in apartment, but no kettle, and no sharp knifes for cooking.

The apartment was in a great central location--close to transportation. The personnel were helpful and friendly. The place was clean. This apartment would also be good for longer stays since it has a kitchen and 1 and 1/2 bath. Great for groups and family. Free wifi (spotty) every thing was nice except. The wifi was weak. The shower head kept falling off and maybe buy your on toilet paper. They provided limited rolls we had to walk to hotel to get more.

The free breakfast was a nice selection. The location was amazing and just down the street from the Colosseum. Lots of restaurants in the area to choose from. The rooms were very spacious.

Hotel Apollo was so charming. The service was very thorough, warm and friendly. The facilities were excellent. It was in a marvelous location and the precinct was full of character and charm only moments from the Colosseum and the the main train station Termini.

The location was wonderful! The staff NEVER came to clean our room, though we were there five nights. I complained to front desk after three nights and was gold they would come clean. At check-out, front desk seemed surprised that no one showed to clean.

Very central to centre of Rome. Close to the Colisseum. Stayed in the Apartments which are a short walk away from the hotel. Apartments advertised for 5 adults but in reality it should be for 2 adults & 2 kids as the apartment has 1 double bed and a 1 bunk beds, the other person in our group had to sleep on the floor. Not really good enough.

Location was within walking distance of major attractions in Rome. You can see the Colosseum as you step out onto the street! We stayed in separate building just next to the main hotel. Room was very nicely decorated. Humidity was high while we were there and as a result there was a musty odor in the room. Possibly we could have turned on the AC to solve it but the outside air temp was cool.

Friendly staff ok English value for money very near Colosseum Found parking on the hotel's street Per hour parking very reasonable, free parking 7:30 pm - 8 am The breakfast was very good and a good variety was offered (including smoked ham which retails about $15 in the us Hotel Apollo had an apartment unit on another street nearby. Two couple's of our group stayed there. The man at the site didn't speak English (or didn't want to?) and was absolutely unhelpful finding our room. Although the apartment was fine.
