Kind staff; for italian standards excellent breakfast; pleasant and well located hotel. Complaints were quickly solved. No drinks or food available after breakfast as there is not a real lounge (apart from the minibar). Our room was pretty small and dark. |

Location is inside the walking distance to some most popular visit attractions (Coloseo, Foro Romano, Fontana di Trevi). We didn't need any subway. Neighborhood is very safe due to Bank of Italia and caserma of carabinieri in the vicinity. There are at least 3 restaurants close to the hotel with reasonable prices and good food. Breakfast was OK with sufficient variety of selection (coffee, tea, toast, bread, brioche, ham, cheese, salami, yoghurt, marmalade, honey, butter, fruit, ect..). The bathroom was renovated and is very clean. Hotel is more convenient to guests traveling without a car (no parking). The corridors are narrow. The breakfast room on the roof was limited in terms of space. They didn't serve the food on the open terrace due to the outside temperature in October. We notice that some guests have to wait to be seated. I don't like plastic chairs. We had two rooms in second floor. One with the view on street (bank) and another on the atrium. Both were not spectacular but acceptable. The garbage collectors starts at 7 a.m. The rooms were renovated long ago and are generally dark. |

great continental breakfast my wife is handicapped and we got lost in the rain. When we got back to the hotel we were soaked to the bone. Wife of the owner would not let us dry our coats in their dryer though it was clearly in sight. nor would she tell us where a laundromat was. she was not friendly at all. |

The continental breakfast was good with reasonable hours of service. The location allowed easy walking access to many ancient ruins, such as the Collesium, the Pantheon, etc. The only english language television available was cnn. It would have been nice to have espn also. |

Having asked for a quiet room, we were given a rahter cramped one at the back. Hotel management solved the problem immediately and the following 8 nights we had a good room in front, with surprisingly little noise. The desk was helpful with information on visits to museums, etc. The breakfast on the top floor with a fine view from the terrace was good. he location is excellent with good restaurants close by as well as the metro and major sites worth visiting. The water flow in the shower was rather weak. |

The hotel was small but was extremely accomodating. It was located in a good area for tourists wishing to see ancient Roman sites. Much of the staff did not speak English. |

Excellent location, walking distance to main sites. Breakfast was very good and room was comfortable and clean. Air-conditioning does turn off for a few hours during the night which can lead to a too-warm room. We had a problem with the toilet during our stay, in that it started dripping throughout the night, keeping us awake. Nothing really was done by the hotel staff to resolve the problem. |

The location of this hotel was perfect and within walking distance to most sites. We had a triple room at the back of the hotel which was quiet and very clean. Breakfast on the rooftop garden was rich and a nice start to the day. We will be returning to Rome in the Autumn to visit the sites we missed in August and will be staying at the Apollo Hotel again. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally quiet, clean, and comfortable. The location was excellent - close to the colosseum, forum, and good restaurants, gelateria, deli, and produce shops. The breakfast was excellent - wide variety of breakfast foods and the rooftop garden breakfast room was a wonderful way to start the day. |

Breakfast was good and it was well situated in the center halfway between the Colosseum and Trevi. The air conditioning was turned off during the night which resulted in a very warm room as we could not open the window because of the street noise. |

I read the reviews on this hotel about its great location before booking, and the hotel does have a great location so close to the colosseum and Forum, its a bit of hike to the Trevi Fountain area, but we still walked everywhere in Rome except to the Vatican area, which is easy to get to by Metro. Speaking of sleep, I read some reviews about the rooms being small & dark and the towels being very thin, and found all of these things to be true, but none these would have kept me from recommending this hotel. What does keep me from recommending the hotel is how uncomfortable our room was each night due to how hot our room felt. |

Very easy to get to from railway station. Central for exploring/walking arround the city. Continental breakfasts on the roof garden were good. Alsso good food nearby. Is a bit noisy on street facing rooms with the window open - but its Rome and also the emergency services do like there sirens throughout the night! |

Residenza Torre Colonna
This mediaeval tower is set in the centre of Rome, between the Coliseum and the Trevi Fountain. The rooftop terrace offers views over the most ancient part of the city.
Most recent booking for this hotel was today at 06:50 “Fabulous renovation of 13th century tower - ancient building with the last word in luxury fittings. Very amiable hosts, and all staff professional. Calling the Torre Colonna 'home' for a few days was a special experience, and we will definitely return.” Jane, WHITLEY BAY |
