Less than half a mile from Termini Train Station, Rome’s central hub, Hotel Virgilio offers a convenient central location.
Score from 822 reviews Very good
Hotel Italia is in Rome’s historic center, a 5-minute walk from Repubblica Metro Station and the Quirinale Palace.
Score from 971 reviews Very good
Hotel Condotti is a small and cozy boutique hotel, on a peaceful, typical street of Rome's historic center. It is just around the corner from the famous Spanish Steps.
Score from 1283 reviews Wonderful
Hotel Regno is 650 ft from the Trevi Fountain. Toss a coin in the fountain if you want to come back to Rome, most likely to this superior 3-star hotel.
Score from 1105 reviews Very good
The staff were very friendly. The apartment in a small garden was very beautiful and quiet. Also the facilities were sufficient, even the kitchen and living room.
No body clean the room while we were out.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy to walk everywhere, coliseum within sight. Lovely local community with delis and bread shops .
Very clean. Sky tv.
Like most hotels on the continent no tea and coffee making facility in the room.
We loved everything - from our beds to our breakfast. The hotel is close to everything and you don't need to take the metro to get to the Colosseum, Fontana di Trevi, Vittorio Emanuelle, Piazza Venezia etc. We chose the hotel because of its location but received a lot more than that: nice comfortable beds, good breakfast with both salty and sweet treats, good wifi connection, very nice receptionists. Basically everything you want out of a hotel during a weekend trip. We'd come back here anytime.
The location( 200m from the coliseum).Spacious room.clean
The bed was not comfortable at all. The plastic balls at breakfast . Check out at 10:00
The apartment was great. Enough space for 6 people and with very good facilities. It was very clean and exactly as described on the pictures. All my family were very happy there.
the only thing i could say is that it was missing some knives in the kitchen, and the door of the bedroom didn't close properly.
The staffs are very friendly and the room ambience is so cozy. The location is also nice because it is closed to colosseum.
The room looks nice and big. The shower room is very good!
The plugs are different from other parts of European countries' but can ask staffs for the adapter.
Conveniently located for short trips to Rome, close to all main attractions. Good breakfast.
Location, staff and breakfast
Bed is old and too soft. Heater doesn't work well
Comfortable bed great location
Rubbish wifi worked for 40min and then didn't work
The Hotel doesn't have Internet! The WiFi doesn't work inside the apartment! Sometimes it works outside the apartment on the stairs!
Great location. Excellent access to all Venice has to offer. Breakfast was varied and fresh.
Wifi was non existant (so hotel can't really claim free wifi). Staff at front desk - mixed customer service. Some were very good and helpful. Went out of their way to assist with directions, activities, transport etc.. Others I found to be rude, and it was like a chior to assist. Seemed to not be very helpful to foreigners.
Very good location. Near the colosseo. Lots of restaurants & mini groceries.
The breakfast :-(
Location. The unit was updated.
I checked in on Christmas Eve with three kids. I made a reservation for a two bedroom apartment. While I was checking in I noticed the apartment was at a different location than I had booked. When I asked why it wasn't at the same address, the staff person said, they have many apartments that are similar to the one I booked. When asked if it was a two bedroom, he said "it's a very big apartment." After walking a few blocks to the apartment with my kids and bags, we found out that it was only a one bedroom. I returned to the check in place and said I needed the apartment that I booked and already paid for. The clerk talked to the manager/owner and came back and said they didn't have a two bedroom for me. They said I could stay in the one that I had and move to a two bedroom the next day. Given that it was Christmas the next day and I have small children and the apartments are not near each other, I said I did not want to move my family and deal with the inconvenience of arranging a time to move, moving the bags, unpacking/packing, etc. The owner was only willing to offer me breakfast for my inconvenience. I said no. They claimed I hadn't paid for the room, but I had over a month ago. They conceded that yes, in fact I had paid. Finally, after much yelling and demanding they finally "found" a 2 bedroom for us to stay in. It was Via Urbana. The room was nice and it's a great location. The internet was horrible. You had to stand by the door and even there it barely worked. The last two days of our stay it didn't work at all. Way too much hassle.
Great location, nice cozy rooms, good and rich breakfast, polite and helpful staff, great value for the money given
Room should have more light it was little bit dark even with the all lights on
perfect localisation in the center clean helpfull staff
I loved every single part of this hotel. We stayed in an apartment and the location, host, amenities, everything was better than we expected or could have wanted. Wifi was fast, kitchen had plates, pots, pans, everything necessary to make a few small meals. The apartment was secure as you had to pass through a large bolted door to even get into the apartment complex. The staff was helpful to give us maps, directions to grocery stores amd atms, even the specific bus to get to the vatican. The buses were messed up on Christmas, so we walked to the vatican in 40 minutes, that is how excellent the location was. Like I said: perfection. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Not a single thing.
The room size mentioned while booking was 190 sq ft but we got a tiny room less than 100 sq ft. The manager responded rudely when we mentioned this to him.
We stayed in a appartment little far from main hotel building for three days and enjoyed the stay. Execllent Location with nice surounding.
WiFi went down for couple of hours in the morning but hotel staff rectified it soon once we informed then. Overall nothing to complain.
Apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Perfect for a family of four. Kitchen has the basic utensils to make meals.
Location was was easy accessible to tourism attraction through the Metro Station (Cavour). The breakfast had a great variety of coffee and tea.
The sofa bed was too hard and small.
Staff was very good. Location is perfect. Room is wide enough.
Excellent location, 5 minutes walk to Colosseum. Very helpful and responsive staff. Call about hot water and they came within 10 minutes, even though it was 6 am in the morning. Good value for money. Relatively clean.
Wifi signal is weak. We have to stand at hallway to get decent signal. No kettle or iron board. Coffee or tea not provided, but no worries, first class cuppicino is just downstairs.
