Breakfast and wi-fi only
Apartment at a distance from the hotel
Staff spoke English n was super helpful w directions etc.
Little out of the way from metro/bus, sights etcetera
Nice terrace with a view overlooking the city.
The location is really great, two minutes on foot till the Coliseum and ten minutes to the main historic buildings. The WiFi is great, works perfectly. We were in the apartments, it's located in a very picturesque garden. The apartments have all the necessary facilities including the washing machine and the dish washer.
Everything was perfect
We had an apartment and it was so big and comfortable. very good location . very good breakfast.
there was no one to help us to bring our baggage to the apartment . No Safety box in the room .
Very good location - all attractions in Rome within walking distance, while the hotel is not on the main and loud street, very kind personel, hotel is clean, breakfast good.
Breakfast could offer something hot (sausages, scrambled eggs, etc..)
Loved the Apollo Hotel. The staff were friendly, spoke English and very helpful. The room was wonderful - clean, well decorated, very comfortable beds, nice bathroom, good Wi-Fi, some English channels on TV for news. The breakfast is served on a roof-top terrace and was great - nice selection of items. No eggs but there were plenty of other selections and everything was very good. The waitress immediately asked us what we would like to drink - cappuccino, espresso, regular coffee, tea. Very nice touch. Location is great - close to Colosseum, easy walk to other famous landmarks, also near good shopping district and train station.
There was nothing that I didn't like about this hotel - all around great experience and would highly recommend it.
I liked everything, literally: location, staff politeness and friendliness, etc. The room of the top floor on the building next door to the reception is a must. It's a kind of suite, but aparthotel style, with a magnificent terrace and a small kitchenette. Landmarks like the Colosseum, Fontana di Trevi and Santa Maria Maggiore are a few hundred metres away from the hotel, within perfectly walking distance. I will surely stay here again if I ever go back to Rome.
There isn't absolutely anything I could say I didn't like.
Good situation, beds comfortable and clean facilities. Staff friendly. Air conditioning good. Lovely to have breakfast on the roof and lots of choice to start the day.
Room was a little bit on the small side for three of us.
Great location near Colisseum, Forum and Trevi Fountain. Mini bar very reasonable prices.
Towels were very thin.
location was fantastic. We loved coming out of suite into the street lined with great restaurants... shops etc.. We were in a suite run by hotel Apollo a few blocks away. Spacious suite, great air conditioning. 2 bathrooms in suite- great with family like us. Walk to the Coliseum in about 10 minutes or less. There is a metro station right across the street.
Wifi is fast but you have to stay close to door or hallway. Nothing else bad to say, I'd stay again.
We stayed there only for one night. Firstly, we liked the hotel location, 5-10 minutes to the Colosseum, Palatin hill and Forums. Breakfast on the rooftop was also good. Good hotel, good value for money.
Room and bathroom were a bit small
-proximity to points of interest -great breakfast on rooftop terrace
-street noise in morning
Location, breakfast, staff
All the tourist attractions except Vatican are within walking distance. The hotel staffs are very nice and helpful. I would for sure recommend this hotel.
Wi-fi is not available in the apartment.
Great staff/owner, very accommodating. Very nice breakfast on the rooftop garden and very convenient to the Coliseum and other landmarks. I would recommend this hotel.
Since this is a renovated older building the hotel elevator is on the second floor in the building we stayed in on Via Dei Serpenti. If you are not able to carry luggage up stairs, this building may be a problem for you.
We stayed at the Via Leonina 11 apartment. It was in a fantastic location. Close to walk to metro, Colloseum, Forum, restaurants, gelateria, shops and more. Air conditioning was great, wifi worked well (for 5 of us!!) and the kitchen was perfect.
The description of the room was incorrect..."a double bedroom, a bedroom with 2 bunk beds and a living room with a sofa bed". No, we had a living room with a sofa bed and ONE bedroom with a double bed (can be set up as double or two single beds) with a single bed that could open up to a bunk. Yes it could sleep us all, but not in the amount of rooms we thought.
The apartment is a good 5 minute walk from the main hotel with kids difficult to manage with bags. Aircondition in 1 room water was leaking and when I complained the guy sitting at the reception was so what happened its normal n now there is no one to come n check only in morning will send someone. That morning never came as no one came to fix the issue. The other room aircondition also very poor in cooling. You should not select the apartment on Leonina as it is a whole lot of issues. There is no phone which can connect you to the hotel reception so if you need anything or issue you have to walk down to the Main hotel so pathetic. I doubt booking.com now if they ever do a check on the reviews or ever check the hotels for what they are providing. I would not recommend this property to anyone.
Good breakfast, friendly staff
Very bad wi-fi,
very clean, good space, very tidy,in the center, near to the metro station(cavour), good staff and quiet area. We(as a family)are recommend this apartment to any family would like to go to Rome.
In the metro station there is no ticket office(Cavour) and we put the money and unfortunately the machine took the money and we could not took the tickets and no one to help us because no one in the ticket office.it is good idea to buy your ticket from some shops near to the station.
Location . Rate and breakfast
Wi fi net in the main building is died and very poor ..
closeness to Coliseum. Had 3 people, and bed situation was good. Hotel manager responded to e-mail concerning directions and acknowledgement of 3 people. Breakfast items were varied and ample; we even were allowed to enter room 5 minutes before open to take some items for our trip back to Venice.
One member of our party thought the shower was small.
The breakfast was abundant and with a lot of options. The location of the hotel is excellent, also considering the price
The towels are very thin, like sheets. I had trouble using the television. Just one power socket. Rooms a little bit small
Great location (walking distance to most of the famous attractions), very friendly and helpful staff, excellent wi-fi.
Room was too dark for my taste (lighter wallpapers or at least an additional light would help).
