We liked being able to store our luggage early in the morning. We also liked the breakfast room for meeting with our group for cocktails. We also loved our huge room!!! The chandeliers are awesome! |

The area in which the hotel was located--seemed to give us a true look at life in Venice--not just what you see in the large tourist areas Rooms were a little small and with no elevator it was somewhat difficult getting our suitcases up the steps |

Location is good (**once you get to the rooms which are about a half mile walk from the hotel lobby), and there is a great restaurant right downstairs in the alley. Based on this plus the lower price, I would recommend this hotel. The hotel attendant when we arrived late on the night of out stay seemed a bit impatient and not very welcoming when checking us in, which was a bad start for our stay. Also, this was when were informed that our room was actually about a 10 minute walk form the lobby, over four small bridges, which is not very pleasing when hauling luggage at the end of a days travel. |

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, basic english spoken, great location in Canneregio, reasonably cheap for venice, they would make you a cappucino or hot chocolate with breakfast. Allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel after checkout, for as long as required. Much appreciated. Bathroom Clean. Directions to hotel were unclear, I will be posting detailed directions and review on tripadvisor. Stafff did not tell me that the apartment was only 2 Vaporetto stops away, from S. Marcuola to Ca' D'Oro, which is much easier than crossing 4 bridges with Luggage! Mosquitoes are like Vampires, breakfast was very cheap. No Safe in room, towels were pieces of tablecloth. |
