Been all around the world and never been so disappointed. They lie about where it is, be careful.
To think of the price, the facility is nice
The location is sooo poor! The hotel is on a narrow and dark street and it's difficult to find that.
Tasty breakfast (mostly sweet) / Nice staff (most of them speaks English very well) / Close to the center + station / Far from 'flooding areas'
WiFi wasn't accesible from our room (We found it out after arrival) / A bit cold on room (November)
We were placed not in the main building. The smell in the corridor and in the room was awful and disgusting. A very small room, lack of cleanliness. Instead of towels we got some napkins.
Quiet area. Good breakfast in a nice room.
Very soft bed, my back still hurts.
I just booked the annex apartment without reading the comments/reviews, after I made the payment I was so shock with the reviews that it was worst, etc etc. I even ask for cancellation, no refund! But I just go through my reservation. We arrived there, its not that worst, all of my friends says its not worst! The only downside is NO WIFI! the rest is ok as long as you can sleep comfortably. If you want to go to venice book in this apartment, we are group of 5 pax.
The location of the annex was excellent with good walking distance to the Rialto Bridge. There were many restaurants and bars nearby. I would say the location of the annex is far more preferable to the actual hotel. Which was a nice surprise. The facilities were eveything you expect for the money
We found a used pair of womens knickers under the seat in the room. This was very off putting and showed how little care goes into cleaning the room. Who knows how long it had been there. The floor in the bathroom was constantly wet but this was more down to the inconsiderate couple we were sharing the bathroom with. The bed was a fold out and very underwhelming
Great location. Easy to get everywhere and from train with luggage. Good shower.
Breakfast was poor, coffee not great. We were in the annex which did not have internet access and was noisy especially at night.
Location, specially the apartments are situated far away from the hotel. Had to climb several floors with all luggage s, elevator facilities were not available.
Good location, good space in the room, really clean
Staff wasn't nice at all... Was really noisy, what made difficult to sleep... Breakfast was really poor
Location was good. Large room. Was fairly basic but we thought it was OK for the price.
Breakfast room was quite small so was a bit awkward when it got busy. However you're not in there for very long.
Location, not far from the station
Small room, basic breakfast
Everything would be just on average (i.e. OK in Venice) and location of the main building is even better (no bridge/stairs from the Guglie vaporetto stop and just one to the railway station) but the staff behavior beats it all.
The most unhelpful staff I have ever met in the entire Italy, they have cancelled our reservation 15 minutes before our arrival and they were even so fast to sell the room within those 15 minutes. Of course they had sent an e-mail before the cancellation, but what a surprice, they send it 3 hours before the cancellation when we were on the plane without the internet access... But we were really lucky as they "fortunately" have a vacant apartment (in another building 10 minute walk away) and even if it was for six persons we do not have to pay more for it. But they forgot to tell that the apartment is without the breakfast (which is in the double room price) and is actually cheaper than the double room in the main building.
I haven’t seen such poor standard in my entire life. I have selected this hotel because this is mentioned in your site and i hadn’t checked any thing else but all went wrong when we checked-in there. first of all room which they have mentioned in pic is totally different from the real one. check the attached pics for reference. they have not even provided the fan and other basic need and when i asked to check the fan and Gas stove then they said no one can come to fix to the issue, you have to settle it by own. how ridicules was that? I hope you will refund my money which i have spent for that room.
Breakfast, close to Main Street.
Noisy at night.
We could see the Duomo from our window, and it was a 5min walk away.
*Paper thin walls. *Room 9 just was tiny, ever-so tiny. *reception wasn't friendly or particularly welcoming. *breakfast was poor *Mosquitoes.
and cleanliness and bathroom
The staff was nice and helpful.
Paid euro 139 per day and the city tax. When I booked the hotel, the picture of the room was bigger. But when I reached there, I was given a very very very small room. It ends as you enter. Cleaniness was ok. But also u would hear sound from adjoining room especially when some1 uses flush in the toilet! Stayed there 2 nights , paid almost eur 300, but did not feel like worth it at all. Also there is no water kettle for making tea in the room, which is pathetic. Would not go back
Location was good once we found it. The owner was VERY nice and helpful. Very basic . We were glad to have a room as there were no others available.
Difficult to locate and walked up 3 stories due to no elevator. There was no wifi and the bed was less than comfortable. The hotel did not have terry cloth towels only small flat cotton "towels". It was a pension and not a hotel
Being sent to a place diferent from the expected one.
Nothing much at all....what's to like in a dump like Ariel Silva?
On entering the foyer to check in, we were simply given "the hand" to wait while the arrogant and rude staff member continued with whatever he was doing that was obviously much more important than greeting us. Once we had his very limited attention we were told that this was not actually the place we were staying in, that where we were staying was in fact 15 minutes further away, but we were to pay there, hence putting that address on the booking sites on the internet. In short, what's advertised is not what you get, and then what you get is a very noisy, very drab, mosquito-infested room in a dump!
Very hard to find.
Location - close to the main attractions Cleanliness
We were in the "annex" which is actually a separate apartment 10 minutes walk from the actual hotel over 4 bridges. This was not on the booking information. No wifi in the "annex" Sound from the restaurants in the street below at 6am Staff arguing with each other at the reception Shared bathroom is annoying though we knew this before but thought we would give it a shot.
