Location only

Very very poor isolation from corridor. It wasn`t possbile have a good sleep(( The room makes me fell as a student in the hostel) The separate bathroom is totally awful. вRain in the toilet doesn`t work constantly( In the end of the stay we can`t sleep becаuse of moscito invasion at the night(( Please, don`t eat breakfast from hotel, because in every bar you can have coffee and croissant twice cheaper) I hope it`s enough to find another hotel for your Florence vacation..

The fact that it was close to the city centre. The bed was comfortable.

There were too many steep steps. There was no central heating or airconditioning turned on. There was no TV set. The power went off twice and we were in complete darkness twice in one evening. There was no hot water in the morning so we had to take cold showers. The walls are very thin so we could hear the people passing outside our door. There was alot of shouting and noise throughout the hotel. It was raining and we could hear the raindrops hitting corrugated plastic all night long and this makes alot of noise.

We were received very friendly, helped to get parhing, had a big room with bathroom and it is within 5 minutes walk of most sights in Florence, and very affordable. Good value! I would definitely recommend it .

No Parking area.

We have really appreciate the hotel stuff, nice people, willing to help. The personal there is really the best. We also liked the quiet neighborhood even if it is located just perfectly in the city center.

I have now stayed here twice, Nov 2011 and Jan 2012. The location is perfect, as seeing as I regularly travel to Florence to see my partner, the more value for money the better. Location wise, this hotel might not be for all, I lived in Florence and so know my way around from here but you will find yourself at a 15 minute walk from the Duomo, 10 minutes form Santa Croce and about 25 minutes to Ponte Vecchio. This seems like a fair distance but it's not when you consider the sights and cafés on every street corner. From the hotel (which is why I stay there) you will find loads of restaurants and bars around 5 minutes away, whereas the hotel itself is on a quiet street so there are no noisy neighbours. Try Sant'Ambrogio, and Beccaria areas for aperitivo or a glass of wine in the piazza. If you're not too fussed about aesthetics this hotel is perfect.

The bathrooms both en-suite and external tend to fill up with water when showering, but do drain relatively quickly.

Rooms were spacious. Staff were co-operative. Breakfast was good. Close to many important sights like Duommo, Republicca, San Marco, even smn, you can actually manage to walk and cover all these.

Wi-fi was not working in the hotel room, but it works fine in the lobby area, if you dont need privacy in browsing :)
