We appreciate the historic features. This was our first trip to Italy and we were unfamiliar with driving and traffic conditions in a congested city like Genova. It would have been nice to know in advance that locating the hotel and parking might be challenging to someone from another country.

Nice historic old-time building with very tall ceiling. Hard to park a car nearby (only 2 park places for luggage unload), but I think it is normal for Genova. Two paid open parkings near hotel (1-3 mins).

Perfectly situated within walking distance from the interesting places in the city and the harbour. English speaking very kind and very profesionel staff. Large room and great breakfast. Very charming hotel. Parking in the street if you can find a place and quite expensive. Some noise from the street.

The hotel is decorated to a lovely classic italian style with an amazing old lift which I date say quirks better than done of the modern variety! Location is perfect, 15 min from the old port so you get to see some hidden gems along the way. The staff are courteous and very helpful! Well worth the money and the time!

The hotel is a lovely older hotel with beautiful paneling, a charming elevator, and gorgeous antique furniture. It is well situated near the train station (Brignole) and the historic center of town. The staff are very helpful and kind. The hotel feels welcoming and personal. I would have liked to see one different offering for breakfast (Meusli instead of packaged cereals), and perhaps some whole grain bread.

Comodità rispetto al centro storico e alle areee di interesse turistico. Rumore del traffico, specie al mattino e rumorosità degli altri ospiti che occupavano le stanze adiacenti alla mia.

Ho apprezzato la posizione dell'albergo, che è molto vicino alla stazione Genova Brignole ed è un buon punto di partenza per la visita a piedi della città, trovandosi il centro a poca distanza. Nei dintorni ci sono ottime pasticcerie per fare colazione e buoni ristoranti. L'albergo è molto pulito e silenzioso. L'arredamento è datato, le tappezzerie un po' consunte e qualche rubinetto perde, ma non mi ha dato nessun fastidio. Ritornerei senz'altro all'Astoria.

Großzügige 3er-Zimmer, hohe Räume, hundefreundlich, nettes Personal an Rezeption, Parkplatz zum Be-/Entladen vor dem Haus, Parkplätze in der Nähe vorhanden Frühstück war nur bedingt bis zur angekündigten Zeit 10:00 möglich: Das Personal schließt das Buffet frühzeitig, so dass die Gäste den Frühstücksraum um 10:00 verlassen sollen.
