For my stay in Rome, I always first check if rooms are available at hotel Atlantico. Its location is perfect (near Termini station), prices are reasonable, quality is excellent, service is excellent and I have never had bad surprises in the over 15 years I have booked at their place. Rooms are ample, clean, quiet, well heated in winter and cooled in summer. I usually stay from three to five nights.

Location was perfect close to the termini train station and all main tourist sites. Breakfast was very substantial for a continental breakfast. Hotel room was a bit noisy as was at the front of the hotel and the street below was a busy street.

Great location, 3 minutes away from Roma Termini. Cozy and well-spaced room - there were 3 of us staying in 1 room, and we're still comfortable with the space! Street noise was a bit annoying, as our room was facing the busy street. Apart from that, I'm happ with this hotel.

Great location in Rome - walkable to many things, and near the Termini to get transportation to others. The rooftop bar and breakfast are actually located in the adjoining sister hotel, the Mediterraneo (the two hotels are connected by a hallway), where we had stayed for 3 nights as part of our tour. We moved to the less expensive Atlantico for 2 nights after the tour. Our room at the Atlantico was comparable in quality to our room at the Mediterraneo, although it was actually a good bit larger. Biggest difference was wood floor instead of carpet, which was no big deal for us. The room was just as clean and had the same amenities, including wifi and had 2 computers in the lobby for guests' use. The lobby is smaller and simpler, but you can just go next door if you need a fancy lobby. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive with eggs, meats, fruit, breads and pastries. Good value for the location and quality in expensive Rome. The hallways were a little dark and dingy, and the single, tiny elevator is not for anyone with claustrophobia.

The hotel location was great, just a few steps from termini station. The reception stuff were kind and helpfull. Breakfast was great. First of all, we were Disappointed from the fact that they didn't mentioned that the hotel is in construction on some floors and we felt the noise during the morning hours. Second, there isn't a double bed- they just take two seperate one's and puts them together- very uncomfortable...

The location of this hotel was as good as you could get in Rome. Steps away from the train station, hop on hop off, great neighborhood, walking to everything you would want except Vatican city and that neighborhood is not as desirable. Easy to take bus 64 over and back. It was very clean and upscale. The breakfast included was wonderful and had staff continuously resupplying the tables. It even had vegan choices. Lift was faster than most in Europe and generally was a very safe place to stay. I found the desk staff somewhat stiff and not as helpful as I experienced in Florence, but the longer we stayed the warmer and more helpful they became. I wondered if that is a cultural thing. Our biggest concern was that our bed was the least comfortable since we got to Europe. We didn't complain but would have needed to inquire about another bed if we stayed any longer. All in all I would still recommend this hotel.

Localization and breakfast were good. Expensive for the quality of the hotel. Besides that, we had noises at 8 am because of work in the hall just in front of our room (hammering, cement droping). Very bad for a hotel of that price. It's better to treat well all clients than to fill up the hotel with people and have situations like this.

The staff was really helpful and friendly. The interiors of the rooms are quite old and should be refurbished given the price being charged. The air conditioning was not very effective and the room was a little dark.

Very clean hotel in an excellent location. Good variety at breakfast. Roof top terrace bar in the sister hotel was fantastic with amazing views over Rome lovely to watch the sunset and have a drink. Only draw back was the street noise at night as our room was on the first floor.

Very large comfortable room. Very helpful staff. Very convenient to the train station. The dining space for breakfast was impersonal, hectic and busy at 7:30am. The food and coffee was not as good compared to other hotels we stayed in during this trip

breakfast included; in close proximity to the old city center; good transportation connection spot: train station 5 min to walk, city tour bus stop across from train station, metro is close as well; building is old as well as window frames, thus not sound proof, i.e. noise from the street was disturbing, especially at night; also, walls between rooms are quite thin and we basically could hear everything happening in the room next door (especially taking the shower and use of toilet, very disturbing); breakfast could have been with more variety of food to be offered

“The quadruple room we had was enormous - very unusual for a city break; more like a suite with kitchen & dining faciliities. It was within walking distance of many of the sights we visited. The staff were unfailingly helpful. The breakfasts were wonderful and never seemed to run out.” Irene, Liverpool |
