Hotel Aureliano  

It was an unpleasant experience. Personel was unfriendly, not helping and almost rude. It was for the first time we staied in a hotel and feel like someone is concerned to take your money first no matter if you are satisfied or not. We were charged for an extra bed although we didn't ask fore one and the child of six were charged the same as an adult. The rooms are noisy and you can't rest properly (evan those with view oposite to the avenue), and if someone next door wants to take a shower it's a huge nose like a plane is taking of. The parking is like a box of matches and our car was almost smashed by the iron gate because it stays opened only 5 seconds and you don't have enough time to park your car if there are others car in there.

The hotel's position is a bit far from the Metro Cornelia but it's only a 10 minute walk up the street. The rooms are fairly decent but not worth the 140 euros we had to pay for one night on Dec. 31St. Especially since I paid 125 euros for the two previous nights I stayed. The breakfast is wonderful and there is a fairly decent choice of items.

For the front rooms with batroom windows: The bathroom windows do not have an adequate curtain. The one that's present is pretty transparent and when the light is on people can see straight thru at you. My 1st room was in the front of the hotel and I did see folks looking up at the windows. They should really consider more privacy in the bathrooms. People can look up and see everything that you're doing and while you are completely naked going in and out of the shower. Check in should be a little earlier than 3pm. People who have early arrival flights are put into difficulty when arriving early. It's not really a 4 start hotel but a better 3 star hotel. 4 stars offer far more in terms of service, toiletries, slippers, etc.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and nice room with balcony. You are 10 minutes walk from the nearest subway and then you are 10 stops from the train station Termini and 4 stops from the Vatican. Located on a busy street (Via Aurelia), but unaffected by noise. There are plenty of nice restaurants on this street are open until late.

The breakfast was really wide by Italian standards, but add new and fresh products was moderate. The bathroom was clean but the workmanship is just a little better.

very basic hotel

staff very rude and unhelpful. on arrival told i was getting moved to another hotel in city without prior notice (hotel over booked) despite hotel being booked 4 months previously! Also told i would have to provide my own transport to the other Hotel?Night porter was extremely rude and ignorant when asking questions.

It's unbearable that in the XXI century the internet service is being charged even from personal latops as it is in this hotel (3€/hour...!). I only stayed here to attend a congress nearby. For vacations in Rome I would advise a hotel in the city center because there are some hotels at reasonable prices and much more confortable. Besides that, hotel Aureliano faces an avenue full of traffic jam, air pollution and noise, even during night.

Tudo de modo geral, funcionarios, ambiente, café da manha e quarto (banheiro com banheiras).

il soggiorno è stato piacevole seppur la mia presenza all'interno della struttura è stata prevalentemente limitata al pernottamento. Ho gradito La camera accogliente, ben riscaldata e pulita che si trovava in una buona posizione (sul retro e non sull'Aurelia) . Esperienza positiva.
