The location is very good if you have a car and they also provide you with free parking, ( Mind the narrow streets, it is very dangerous to drive at the area) The view of the lake is great and the staff at the hotel is very helpful and informative.They can help you with transportation and activities in a minute , Just ask them. They rooms are nice and they also have free wifi connection.

Breakfast was a very long buffet but with not too many things on it. Little basic for us. The rooms should have their own separate heating. We felt cold and also hot some times since there was central heating on the rooms operating certain times of the day for the whole hotel.

Hotel Aurora exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived until checking out, Margherita, Patricia, and the staff made us feel extremely welcome and treated us though we were friends. Their local knowledge, recommendations and assistance were outstanding. We have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Aurora to anyone looking for a nice, affordable place to stay on Lake Como. Make sure you take the time to visit Villa Carlotta.....thanks for the recommendation, Margherita!!

Quaint hotel / villa - beautifully decorated; comfortable room; staff was terrific - very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel to my friends. We look forward to returning some day.

The hotel is really well located and the staff are as good as you'll find in any hotel anywhere. A lovely warm friendy atmosphere where nothing is a problem. Highly recommended.

Hotel Aurora was absolutely wonderful. I look forward to going back there again one day. Everything about the hotel was fabulous right down to the last detail. The staff were excellent, so very helpful in every sense. I shall certainly be recommending Hotel Aurora to my family and friends.

Only one restaurant in area and the menu was somewhat limited.

The restauant was conveniently located, but there was some communication problems ordering meals. The first night I don't think I got the right steak. Tough as boot leather. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of food and drinks, but much confusion about the boiled eggs. Scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon would have been nice.

After the first day, we ran out of toilet paper, and a day later my sister ran out of kleenex?

Excellent service, excellent location, genuinely great place! Waterski and watersports facilities on the doorstep. Good restaurant, with fresh light food as well as pasta and pizza. All staff are personable and friendly, willing to help out with whatever they can... Great value for money. Loved it!

They could facilitate swimmers there a lot better... It is a beautiful place to swim but the ramps are very slippery as is the 'beach'. The pontoons are usually busy with boats coming and going and are quite high for less agile people to get out onto. A separate swimmers pontoon would make it excellent!! (Beds could be a bit more comfortable as well, however that is a common complaint right across Italy... Really struggled to find a comfortable bed anywhere)

Great family run business, clean hotel with new 12 rooms right on the water, perfect restaurant, great breakfasts. The owner Margarita and her sister were amazing. Everyone spoke English. I would highly recomend this hotel to everyone!!!
